Central has a gifted and empathetic staff, and their skill with companion animals is admirable. They are practiced at managing relationships with their human and four-legged clients. The staff always handles themselves in a professional manner. They are considerate and respectful in their actions and tone, and kind in demeanor. I highly recommend Central for the veterinary needs of your furry best friends.

I have loved my experience with Central and so has my pup. Every person in the office was incredible and took such good care of Remi. They were so friendly and got him seen and taken care of very quickly but it still felt like they cared about him and weren't just trying to get him out of there. Central came recommended to me by a couple different friends which made me feel confident in taking him to see them and I'm glad I did!

About a week ago, I took our 5-year-old cat, named Rhianna, to Central Veterinary because she was not her usual self - not crawling up on my lap or laying with me in bed. I drove to Central Veterinary, and after arriving in the parking lot, I called Central Veterinary's phone number, and I was informed to come into the waiting room, and within a few minutes, a nurse called me back to Dr. Kirchberg's examination room. My first impression of Dr. Kirchberg was very positive - she was very welcoming, friendly, and engaging. After a few moments of verbal interactions with Dr. Kirchberg, an amazing - extremely notable personal quality of Dr. Kirchberg was palpable - she sincerely and genuinely cared for Rhianna's well-being. I, then, presented Rhianna's current untypical behavior to Dr. Kirchberg. In detecting and determing a possible serious medical issue with Rhianna, Dr. Kirchberg immediately took x-rays and extracted blood from Rhianna. Dr. Kirchberg injected Rhianna with an antibody, as well as a prescription. *In summsry: the time of my arrival, my waiting time in large waiting room, my waiting time between being in the large waiting room to being summoned to the examination room: "were very few minutes"; Dr. Kirchberg was extremely professional in: her interactions with me; she was very informal - a quality I found to be very attractive to me; in her clear explanations of what physical ailments Rhianna was experiencing; with her high degree interpersonal skills allowing me to follow and tract her reasoning; and, Dr. Kirchberg, was delightful in our conversations and because of her professional knowledge, education, and insight, I felt very secure, confident, in Dr. Kirchberg's assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. In ending this text - I left Central Veterinary in complete trust of Dr. Kirchberg, a young, advanced, professional, in caring for our "furry little children."

I absolutely loved this place at first. They really seemed like they cared, and they helped me get my dog’s allergies under control better than any of his previous vets had. I started to have my doubts after the wrong lump had been removed on my dog during a visit there. The vet was very apologetic and removed the right one after I spoke up. The vet had been so amazing until that point, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued bringing my dog there despite the major screw up. Then getting refills on the topical cream my dog needs for his ears became a hassle. His ear infections are reoccurring due to all of his allergies, and he has needed this ear cream off and on almost his whole life. Previous vets had never made it a big deal to get refills on this cream, but more than once I was expected to get him in (and pay for) a full exam before getting a refill at central. When I questioned the girl who last brought my dog’s meds to me about why we would need another exam or the approval of the last vet he saw (who wasn’t there) instead of any of the other vets there that had seen him over the same issue (and might be present that day), just to get a topical cream, she got very rude with and let me know “that’s just how the world works”. It’s sad because there really are a couple vets there that are AMAZING. But after being hassled about his medications, the surgery mistake, and that last person I dealt with, I took my dog else where.

I have taken two dogs here, one in his last days and one in her first ones. Every time they were taken in with love, understanding and knowledge. For the old one, they gave me answers on that first visit, and I am thankful that they give you all of the options and make sure to answers your questions. I love this vet and would definitely recommend it

Kind and attentive staff. I will admit a bias here because the vet was gushing over how well-behaved my cat was (in truth, she was so scared she basically froze up)

This veterinary clinic is practically a miracle. I live in Sevierville where you'd better not have a sick fur baby because NOT ONE vet's office will make time to see an existing patient who is sick. Central Vet Hospital actually leaves appointments available to deal with sick and injured animals. It is not just the sharp comparison to the awful vets I had seen previously, though. Everyone there understood that I was worried about my pup. When the doctor came in, he talked to her and calmed my nervous pup down. Everyone answered all of my questions patiently and knowledgably. She was having a problem with a sore tooth. Because of her age and previous health problems (supposedly) the vet in Sevierville (a different vet, her new vet) had told me to just leave her teeth alone when I pointed out her BLEEDING gums. I knew I had to go somewhere else. Here at Central, they told me that they absolutely could take care of her and even pull her tooth if necessary. I got an appointment for the dental surgery in just a few days. In those few days, Sophie felt worse. I can't imagine just leaving the problem as the Sevierville vet told me to do. Because of Sophie's age, I was very worried, but the staff at Central called me and kept me up to date with Sophie's progress as I waited for her. She came home feeling better and doing great! As background, Sophie became sick a year or so ago, and her own vet (Sevier Co. Animal Clinic) would only offer her an appointment 2 weeks away. It turned out she would have died if we would have waited. We ended up taking her to UT where she had to have emergency surgery. In spite of that awful experience, I kept thinking that I could find a real vet (as opposed to just a vaccination mill) somewhere in closer than Knoxville. That is just not the case, and I'm happy to drive over an hour to get to Central Veterinary Hospital. They are so compassionate to both the animals and their people that it is worth the drive. If you happen to be a fellow Seviervillian, it's also worth noting that Central's prices are much lower than anywhere I ever went in Sevierville-- but of course, I'd pay premium prices for such a great place. My friend who went with me said, "I bet you're paying a pretty penny to bring her here!" when she saw Central Vet and was stunned when I told her what the charges had been. She is a fellow pet parent and knows the CVH charges are more than fair.

I am so pleased and impressed with the care and treatment by the staff and the doctor for my little dog, Max. Max is responding very well, and above my expectation for Max. I can not express my heartfelt thanks to Central Veterinary Hospital. I will recommend that this is the place to take your fur baby.

Went with a friend who had to put his 17 year old dog to sleep. Very sad! The people were compassionate! They have known Pepe longer than me and I could tell they were very sad also. I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone! They are awesome!

I brought my new puppy here for the first time. My first impression is that the office is really clean and the front staff are friendly and efficient. I accidentally showed up 30 minutes early, but they were able to get me seen very quickly. The staff was great with my pup and he loved them! He didn’t even feel his vaccine! Dr. B was kind and answered all of my questions. She also gave me great advice as a new pet owner and some best practices for a new dog mom.

They squeezed us in and treated Aspen on a Saturday so she didn’t have to go through the weekend in pain. I’m always very happy with the care we receive and recommend them to everyone.

Recently adopted Mr.Bacon Bit, and he had hurt his leg about10 days ago. Of course before I've gotten insurance for him. My neighbor said this is where she goes. I'm so glad she recommended it for me. They were very nice and professional. Could tell they really care about your pet and you. Most reasonably priced veterinarian I've ever been too. They even gave me different options to fit my budget. He got medication and now is back to himself.
