Very nice staff, well equipped, and the veterinarian was both kind and knowledgeable. My local let actually referred me to this office because of their skill with dental work. It's a long drive for me, but the peace of mind is absolutely worth it!

Dr. Hickey didn't keep us waiting, she made some good suggestions that lowered our medication costs, she was very knowledgeable, she was very friendly, and the fee was very reasonable. We could not have been happier!

I hate to give one star, because Dr.Hickey is really a great vet and she deserves 5 stars, but Dr.Neff is lacks empathy. Her bedside manner is disgusting. When you’re putting down a beloved pet, the last thing you want is to be RUSHED. Just absolutely disgusted by her behavior. If you look through the reviews they consistently compliment Hickey. She is awesome. The difference between the two is night and day. Go with the vet that respects her patients.

I couldn't speak more highly of my experience with Dr. Stephanie Hickey as a veterinarian. We had two very sick pups, and she gave them the greatest of care and love. She was also amazing at walking with us as we were struggling with making the best decisions for our dogs. Any time we have a question about any of our animals, she is quick to respond with very knowledgeable answers. I'm so grateful for Admiral.

I unexpectedly lost my 12-year old cat recently and had to decide to let her go while at the vet. Dr. Hickey and her staff were so very compassionate and took the utmost care with my baby, and afterwards with me. I really appreciate everyone there for what they did for me that day.

We love our Admiral Vet family! Dr. Hickey & Dr. Strunck have always taken great care of our girl! They are always attentive and answers all of the questions we have. The staff is very welcoming and helpful!

I have been going to Admiral vet for the past 5 years, I really loved them. This past March we had to say goodbye to our 13 year old, 100lb pupper. Sadly it was the most traumatic experience ever. They couldn’t find a vein and when they did they did not give him enough medicine to relax him. He was throwing his head back and forth and whining. It tore my heart apart. They let him do this until they gave him the medicine to let him go. I have rescued eleven senior dogs and have had to say goodbye but I’ve never experienced such a thing. Maybe it was a one time thing but I just couldn’t bring myself to go back.

The staff is very caring. They work you in quickly when your pet has an issue. They take time to listen to your concerns and are very attentive to the needs of the pets in their care.

Milly and Sophie happily walk into Admiral wagging their tails. The cats handle it well too. A professional staff that makes sure all of our questions and needs are answered fully.

Our experiences at Admiral Veterinary Hospital have always been positive, professional and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They truly love animals and will always provide options in the best interest of the pier and the family. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

Our cats Wampa (aged20) and Mushka (aged10) have been seen by this office. Wampa unfortunately passed away recently and the staff at admiral were so kind and caring. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone.

I should have written this review 2 years ago. I live about an hour away from this office. It’s too far for me to drive all my critters for their medical care. I have heard so many wonderful things about this vet clinic, I wish it was closer. However, I called Dr. Hickey on the phone regarding my Aussie mix when he came down with cancer 2 years ago. Despite my not being a patient, she spent time with me on the phone discussing my painful situation with my very ill baby boy, Alvin. I wanted to gain more insight and perspective regarding his cancer and I knew Dr. Hickey was a fantastic source. She was generous with her time and knowledge. She was also incredibly sympathetic to my pain. I am forever grateful to Dr. Hickey for her compassion and her assistance in Alvin’s greatest time of need. It’s never easy to let them go, but having all the needed resources and knowledge help to give you peace in that decision.

I have lived all over the states and this is the best veterinary practice anywhere. Dr. Hickey is highly knowledgeable in her field as is her entire staff. This is one veterinary hospital that I absolutely trust to care for even the most complicated and difficult of situations.

I wanted to update my review. If I could give 6 stars I would. Here's just a couple reasons why: Dr. Stephanie helped me send my heart dog across the bridge after she diagnosed an extremely aggressive lymphoma. She and her team were so very kind to me, I felt like I had a friend with me saying goodbye. While in the office during that time, I heard a staff member answer the phone and apologize to the caller about being unable to take new patients until January. I asked about it, and found out that two of the vets are on/going maternity leave..I have to say, I'm grateful. I have three dogs and after losing my dog so suddenly, if I couldn't have gotten in because of vets on leave and Dr. Stephanie too busy with new clients, I'd have been so upset. I admire any organization that puts their current clients ahead of potential new ones. There are many other reasons, but these two are top of mind. If you're not already a client of Admiral Vet, and don't have urgent needs, they are worth the wait until they can accept new ones again!

We are new to having a pet and the staff at Admiral Veterinary Hospital has been by our side from the beginning. Dr. Hickey helped provide guidance to me when we were looking for our sweet pup and gave me questions to ask and things to look for when getting a new dog. They are very patient and always answer all my questions. They are very caring and professional. Our sweet dog loves to go to the vet and see Dr. Hickey and her amazing staff. I cannot imagine what we do without them! I would highly recommend Admiral Veterinary Hospital to anyone!!

Hands down, the best veterinarians in the field. Dr. Strunk and Dr. Hickey are the most dedicated, compassionate, honest and understanding people. The techs who work for them clearly love animals and their jobs.

Dr. Hickey and her staff were amazing on Tuesday when I had to make the decision to put my old guy to sleep because he was just not doing well. They were very comforting. Made sure I was able to get a paw print of him. We have been with them for several years and recommend them to everyone!

We’ve taken our fur babies here for the past 5 years and absolutely love this place! I have complete faith that my babies are being cared for by the Vets, and the entire office staff and techs are so kind. They are also affordable! When we had to make the hard decision to put one of our babies to sleep, they were so kind and caring. It was a relief that we could focus on our boy and feel he was deeply cared for the entire time. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family!
