I had taken my cat to the hospital because she was not eating drinking or using the litter box, also vomiting. A blood test was ran and an exam only. Said she was fine. The high markers on her results where never addressed and was sent home with hair ball ointment. Hair ball issues where not even addressed. My kitty got worse and had to be hospitalized for a stomach and intestinal blockage. Thanks for taking my money and doing absolutely nothing to help my poor baby. I will never visit your office again.

My husband and I had to take our lab for stitches. Dr. Williams and her assistant were very kind and knowledgeable. The receptionist was also very friendly and loving. They were able to get the surgery completed within 45 min. I was very thankful for this emergency clinic and Dr. Williams.

I called bc my cat has not eaten barely anything or drank in a week. I suffer from bipolar disorder and anxiety and have no income. Their answer was find a ride to a vet the next morning. Cruel and inhumane people

I unfortunately had to rush my cat here 2 weeks ago after a dog attack and he sadly had to be put down. The clinic was very compassionate and let me spend all the time I needed with my pet, and today I received a card in the mail from them sending their condolences. They treated my baby so well even until his last minutes. If you have to go here for any reason, I highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I took our dog there due to it not really wanting to eat for a couple days. He was still the same happy dog as always other than not eating so we took him to the only place open, which happened to be here. They listened to heart beat, his lungs, and felt up his spine and came to the conclusion he had an inflamed disc in between his neck and back causing him “too much pain to eat.” Which when they touched a certain spot you could tell it was painful for him, instead of running test to 100% guarantee that’s what was causing him not to eat, they gave him an anti-inflammatory and sent us home. We wake up the next morning to him being worse than he was previously was, could barely stand, uncontrollably shaking, and see he was throwing up blood, on the way back (not even 24hours later) the dog passed. Their excuse was he was showing no signs of gastrointestinal issues (HE WAS NOT EATING) so not sure how that was not a sign. They simply did not do their jobs. I would absolutely not recommend taking your animal to this place.

Most vets care about animals these people just care about money $90 just to get seen and then they wanna charge you more after if I could gave 0 stars I would have. That's more than my Dr charges for a visit

Took my dog in a month ago because he was not well. The doctor (Dr Harris) was not kind at all. Very cold and sharp. They ended up keeping my dog over night and he passed. Again no compassion at all. Finally received my dogs ashes and paw print- the print is laughable like they didn’t even try and his name is spelled wrong on EVERYTHING. I don’t recommend you bring your pet to this office. Thank you Lucy for being so kind and sweet(that was the only good thing about this office)

Me and my husband took our dog here at about 7pm for a ear hematoma with an infection. The nurses and receptionist was all friendly and welcoming. The Dr. Himself (Dr.Harris) talked to my husband and me like we was the problem, and made us feel very uncomfortable even went as far as to tell us how awful our dog looked. Dr. Harris didnt even look at his ear, the whole time it was like he kept trying to have us go somewhere else in the morning. Overall a very bad experience to be the only place open at the time. Would not recommend taking your pets here!

My dog became sick this weekend and of course the emergency vet is the only clinic in Jackson that is open. I dont have money for a vet bill. They wanted a ridiculous amount of money just to even see him, so thats not even including whatever treatment he may need. The way I feel is they would rather my dog die than work with me on a payment. If I had the money, I would gladly spend it to have my dog treated. But I cant even pay my bills right now so its not like I have it and just don't want to spend it. So I guess my dog will have to suffer through the weekend and we just pray he makes it till monday.

Did nothing for my dog and charged me 200 dollars don't take your animal here they won't help you! Unless you have couple thousand dollars to spend and then they still can cast your dogs leg or anything there at the clinic.. bunch of quacks!

If I could give them a zero I would. This place is a joke. Took my dog because he was limping. The veterinarian did not even touch him or give x-rays. He gave him a hydro-cortisone shot and said that should help his feet and ears which was very red. He didn't look in his ears either. If he do not want to do his job please go somewhere else. I ended up going to the North Clinic and the veterinarian actually seemed like he cared. He checked his ears and x-rayed his feet. Nothing on the x-ray, but when he examined his feet he noticed that his small toe was causing him pain. He gave him a inflammation medication. He slept most of the evening and seemed to be walking better instead of worse. i have wasted so much money with Jackson Pet. I wish they had others so people would have more options or at least get someone in there that cared.

The Dog you see in the picture above is dead because of there Incompetence... Took my dog to this so called Jackson Pet Emergency Clinic at 1:00 am. My dog was in serious distress... From what happened that night I was told my dog was having a heart attack, but they couldn't do anying for him! After 3 hours there waiting outside in the parking area, and all the testing that this so called Veterinarian could do, and /or think of, to charge me more money each time he ran a another test. Looking back this VET did NOTHING to help my dog! Nothing!!! The Veterinarian got the charges up over $1,000.00 dollars that night, then sent me home with no idea what in the hell I was suppose to do with my dying dog, at 4:00 am in the morning. "STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC!!!

So, it’s midnight, and I find a tick on my inside only cat. I try and fail to pull it off of him while keeping him calm and still- twice, before he’s moving too much for me to keep trying. I live alone, and, again, it’s midnight. At a loss and almost in tears, I call Jackson Pet Emergency to see if A, they’re open, and B, if they’ll remove a tick since it’s not much of an emergency. The vet I spoke to was reassuring. When I arrive with my very unhappy cat, she’s professional and kind to my cat and to me. Once we find the tick again, she removes it easily without further stressing my cat. Then, she wouldn’t let me pay anything! In summary, they have kind and professional vets at bizarre hours, no matter how minor the emergency is. I know leaving a tick is unhealthy, but I couldn’t get it on my own. She solved my dilemma with complete kindness and no judgement. I hope I’ll never need their services again, but I know where I’ll go if I do.

Five Stars!! If I could give ten I would! Not only did the doctor save our dogs life...who had swallowed sinus medication...when we went to pick her up we were told we would be receiving a $250 refund for services not used! I was in shock to say the least! Great pet care by honest people. Thank you so much!
