Both vets are phenomenal. I usually see Dr. Skidmore. He has been my vet since 2015 after having a bad experience elsewhere. I had two 15 yr old cats and two 13 yr old dogs. I pretty much was at the vet once a week until they all passed on. Dr. Skidmore fit me in for my dog, Ember, to be euthanized as her hips gave out on her at 16 . He came to my car and carried her in , all 65 lbs of her. He evaluated her and agreed her hips are pretty much gone. He allowed me to stay as long as I needed to even though he worked me in. I now have 3 cats i adopted and we see still see Dr Skidmore.

We sought from them a second opinion for our feline fur baby who had been treated at another place with Cerenia, probiotics, and a prescription diet. Dr. Skidmore immediately launched his own investigation of our cat's problems. He coordinated with an animal hospital out of town, and provided us a truthful diagnosis and the right treatment. The previous veterinarian was going to do major dental work on a cat already weakened by advanced cancer.

I really like this vet clinic… but I was disappointed to see how much they charged to clip my 14 pound dogs nails! ????

I carried my Westie to another vet and she said he had a disease that troubles Basenjis. But he only became worse with treatment. Finally she said unless I take him to Pennsylvania to the vet there, she would no longer see him. Well, I tried Dr. Waite and he diagnosed him with diabetes and a blood sugar of 500 right off the bat! Once we got his blood sugar down in a couple of days, he was a new dog! He lasted another year on daily insulin shots before he developed pancreatitis. He was dead in a week so he suffered some, but not long. I thanked Dr. Waite for giving me back my dog for a year. I admire his bedside manner and told him I knew MDs that weren’t nearly as compassionate. I am a physician and I am very satisfied with the care that he gave my Westie and now my Lhasa Apso. I will never go anywhere else!

I would not take my pets any place else! Honest, loving and dependable. I love my vet office with Dr.Skidmore the best!????????????????

This is the only vet in Madison County I would ever trust with my dog.

Very casual. Simple. The food is delicious. Cajun. Typical costs. Small restaurant. Worth every visit every time.

Dr. Waite and Dr. Skidmore are both amazing vets who clearly love animals, as do their staff. They are patient and attentive and heap love and kindness onto my cats when I bring them. On top of excellent care, their prices are very fair, and they don't push a lot of extras or sneak in add-on charges. This is one of the few vets where I've ever been able to say I have complete trust in them. In the past, it could be difficult to get someone on the phone, but lately it seems better (review updated to reflect that). Other people complain about the parking and access situation, and they are right, but it's just a minor annoyance for me. But the care, fair treatment, trust, and pricing mostly makes up for the difficulty in contacting them and rocky location. And when I do get them on the phone, they often help without recommending an appointment immediately and have never charged me for such calls.

Excellent veterinary care for my beloved cat Oliver! I was able to get a sane day appointment for Oliver who was lethargic, refusing food, water, and vomiting. After examining him, Dr. Waite came back to tell me that my cat had a temperature. He suggested X-rays, which I was planning on asking for anyways, because we believed he ate a whole bird or possibly something else that made him sick. Thankfully the x-ray showed nothing out of the ordinary. Dr Waite gave him medication for the fever, antibiotics, nausea and hydrated him under the skin. Given all that was done, very reasonable prices. I love this practice because you can tell Dr. Waite and his staff truly care for their patients. Dr. Waite does not waste your time trying to upsell up on things you don't need nor want. Oliver began to recover in a little over 24 hours, just as the Dr. Waite said he would. He's back to his normal self, loudly meowing for attention, cuddles and of course food

The vets are wonderful. The receptionist is a whole lot rude... later they got a new receptionist. Very nice.

Great system in the age of Covid. Personable staff

Dr. Jay Waite and his staff are fantastic. They take time with you and your pet to make sure that your fur baby is comfortable and at ease. They also take the time to explain what is going on with your pet and thoroughly answer any questions or concerns you might have. We would not consider taking our pups anywhere else, we drive from Tennessee when they need to see their doctor.

The vets are very good & staff are kind.

This was our first time taking our adopted dog to the vet. Due to Corona, we couldn't go in with our dog so I typed up a list of all the questions we had. The staff that came out to get him were friendly and nice. The vet came out to our van window after the exam and was friendly and helpful. He used the list of questions I had typed out to make sure he answered every concern, was happy to explain things we didn't know, and even told us some nice things about how our dog had behaved during the exam. We will be using this clinic from here on out.

Best Veterinary clinic in the area. Very informative, relaxed and calm environs so that my dog has never been scared or shell-shocked during the entire duration of his visit. The Docs are very gentle and very professional yet personable with pet and owner alike. Very pleased with the care and performance of entire staff. Polite, engaging, respectful and kind interactions with all individuals responsible for operating the practice.
