Really liked this place but, if you offer a service, please don't attempt to talk me out of it, if I hadn't already made up my mind, I wouldn't have asked for it.

The place to take your pets if you want them to be healthy and happy.

Editing my review. I was not unhappy with my experience until I was sent a bill by the city for pet licensure and late fees. Green Cove pet hospital takes the time out of their day to call the city and report their customers for not keeping up with their yearly pet licensure. In my case, I brought in a stray to get her help and then found her a home, then was billed by the city for my trouble, and told Green Cove had reported me. But even if you had a domestic house cat, do you really want your vet clinic tattling on you, forcing you to pay an arbitrary pet license fee for your indoor pet? Ridiculous. This clinic is unethical and if I could sue, I would.

In the middle of winter a starving, emaciated, half bald cat followed me home while I was on a walk, and worry for the health of the animal eventually convinced me to take her to a veterinarian for medical care, as it did not appear she was going to survive much longer without help. I brought her to Green Cove and spent several hundred on her medical needs, and after getting her back into shape I found her a suitable home. Lo and behold, I get a letter from the city of Huntsville a year later telling me I owe two years of cat license fees and late fees. Turns out Green Cove reports animal lovers, their paying customers, to the government. Let no good deed go unpunished, huh. I highly recommend you avoid this unethical clinic.

The vet and the techs really care about the animals they see.

Our visit with this vet clinic was great. Our dog was there for a skin problem and they provided wonderful information for us along with other helpful advice for foods and supplements. I appreciate the amount of time the vet spent with us and we did not feel rushed at all. The vet tech was also very helpful. We could tell she really observed our dog’s characteristic and his behavior.

I love, love, love this vet! The office staff is truly the best ... always nice, always helpful and really do love all animals that come in. The vets are do such a great job of looking after my dogs. I went to a different vet because my dog was having some constipation issues ... the other vet didn't find a problem and told me that he was fine. I waited for a day then called Green Cove to get my dog in ... turns out he was severely constipated (still) and had a bladder infection. How do you miss that? Regardless, these guys will look after your animals and make sure they stay healthy! Also, their doggie day care is phenomenal! We took our puppy there to be watched while we were at work and they did an awesome job with her ... very specialized care. She still loves the staff there and she is not an easy dog. Love this place!

Very impressed with courtesy and caring of staff. THought I was going to lose my dog to illness but she has returned to her normal self after the excellent care and treatment she received. They kept me informed of her condition throughout the whole process and even called at home "twice" to check on her status. New to city and so thrilled to have found an excellent vet clinic that I feel I can trust.

Individual attention. Dog is excited to be boarded. They social distance wait in car talk on phone. Medical treatments pricing is quoted up front.

We have an older dog and just love to take her to Dr. Sweet . She is very professional and knowledgeable. She remembers minute details about our pet and gives the best advice. She researches answers to our questions and gives good reasons on what we should and shouldn't do. This entire shop is the BEST.

Dr. Sweet and the staff at Green Cove Pet Hospital give me peace of mind. I know that every person from the front of the clinic to the back of the clinic cares about my pet and have both her and my best interest at heart. Recently, I had my little girl spayed and microchipped. It was really awesome to get home and discover that GCPH had already registered her with AKC Unite and I didn't need to lift a finger! Also, there were some concerns with my girl's bloodwork so Dr. Sweet called me to discuss the results. She went over the options, and together, we came up with a plan that best suited the patient. I couldn't ask for a better team to help me with the needs of my current and future pets. ❤️

I have been bringing my husky/shepherd mix here for about 2 years. The staff and doctors are very kind to me and my dog. My dog ended up needing knee surgery through a different facility, but Green Cove helped with her follow up care. We also boarded her for a weekend during her recovery time, and they made sure she was doing her walking exercises and taking her meds post-op. They have always taken great care of my elderly pup! ????

2 years ago I moved back to Huntsville with my dog I had in college. I was actually upset a little to find a new vet because I had loved my old one so much. However, they have been more than welcoming and always take good care of my dog. I had tried another vet in the area and was put off by how rude they were to me. I am glad to have found this place.

Everyone at Green Cove Pet Hospital is kind and helpful! This vet is farther away from my house than others, but I am willing to make the drive because their care is second-to-none. I definitely recommend going here! :-)

Best service I've ever received for an animal in need. My cat has had some skin conditions which has been frustrating & difficult to address during this pandemic (which of course they have mandated a curbside pick up and drop off policy for the time being), but the people at Green Cove Pet Hospital expelled my anxiety with their very reasonable pricing and professionalism. They're very helpful, kind, and understanding folk. The technician that I spoke with was very thorough as she went through the paperwork including all the charges, making sure any and all exam/medication suggestions were going to be affordable for me before they began the process, which I also believe they can set up a payment plan for you if its too overbudget, but they don't force or coerce you into anything you can't afford. They've always taken such great care of me and my family's animals. We've had spayed surgeries done for our cats as well as extensive treatment done for my mother's labrador, who's getting quite old now, so you know how that goes. The lovely workers at this clinic don't have a judgmental bone in their body when it comes to my haul of mutts and rescued animals. They're awesome, and I highly suggest bringing your furry friends here if you want to ensure that they have the safest and most positive clinic experience possible. Made an appointment through online contacted me very quick went on the day of the appointment very professional and very quick place also the two ladies at the front desk were very helpful and The Doctor gave us every detail and the place is full of love it’s great!

At GCPH Dr; Sweet and her staff were wonderful with their care and treatment of Emma Loo. Their concern and thoughtfulness were certainly appreciated during such a sad time. We will not forget it and we will certainly return.

Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly and always tries to make my dog feel comfortable (even though she does not want to be there). Dr. Sweet is super knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell that the staff really does care about your fur babies.

Green Cove Pet Hispital offers great service. We take both our pets there. We also use their boarding service when we travel. The staff is friendly and professional and our pets love them.
