We had to say Good by to our little Springer Lilly. She was 15 and going down hill. It was so hard but the staff here and the Vet couldn't have been kinder. We had recently moved here from Colorado and Flint River was recommended to us. We still have a piece of Lilly because we have her son and as long as we live in Alabama Flint River is our Vet.

I️ was very impressed with the quality of care my puppy received & the overall kindness of the office. The rooms were clean, the technicians were helpful, and Dr. Lowe was awesome. Very personable & helpful. I️ couldn’t have asked for a better vet! Thank you to the receptionist for working me in. My puppy is feeling much better.

My dog didn't enjoy but he's young an ld traumatized. I had a pretty enjoyable time going for the puppy's first scheduled shots. Just like visiting the doctor. Pup got medicine and I got tips on how to deal with some of the pups minor issues such as leash tips etc. Thanks so much for your professionalism!! I can tell your staff loves animals.

Great vet care but they don't call when pet is ready

I have 6 dogs, 4 cats and 2 parrots. This is the best vet I have ever had!

Ever since moving to Northern Alabama we've been looking for a place where we can trust our pups to go to for their every need. Flint River Animal hospital is that place for us. The Doctors care about our dogs, and they have a boarding place attached to the hospital so if godforbid something were to happen to them it's a trip right next door. I, we, recommend FRAH to anyone in the area.

They are awesome Vets, offer many grooming options and pet boarding plus daycare. Take great care of our 3 dogs and 7 semi wild cats.

Started taking our new German Shepherd puppy when our regular vet refused to work us in for a vaccine he needed. Ever since, Flint River has been very helpful and polite to me and my family to include our dear pets. They do an excellent job with grooming as well.

Quickly seen! Same day, for what I thought was an emergency! Talked through options and explained everything to me. Offered services as to ease my mind, but didnt pish it for money! They truly cared about my pup! They even filled his medicine there!! I've already recommended them! They've definitely won my family(not business, because they care and don't treat you as a customer, they show you and your babies compassion!)

The vet and techs were great when we went for our initial appointment. Laurie at the front desk however, extremely rude. After spending hundreds of dollars at a place I expected to be treated better. I missed the sign about wearing a mask on the front door (because I had my hands full with two dogs) and instead of kindly reminding me, spoke to me like a child. As I was putting the mask on she ignored me and refused to speak to me. She would not help me with my dogs when we were trying to weigh them either. I’ve never been treated so poorly anywhere. I don’t appreciate it and I completely canceled grooming and any other services. We attempted to give this place business but never again.

Grooming is great and affordable.

This is an affordable no nonsense vet, from my experience. I have no reason to go to another. The staff was helpful, direct and was considerate of my time.

We had a really great experience with this veterinarian! I highly recommend! They were all very nice, even at the end of the day on a Friday. They listened to what my concerns were and made sure I had the information I needed. I'll definitely bring my other dog here when it's her time for an exam and vaccinations.

The staff is always welcoming to both pet and owner. They will take the time to answer any and all questions you may have. Boarding is also easy and priced extremely fair for what all they do to take care of your pets. This is the only place I will ever take any of my animals for any services they will need

One of the best in the area! I have 2 make dobermans, Bentley and Enzo, who are my whole life and they have been treated so well. One of our first doctors I can’t remember the name but he was so nice to Enzo and even gave his treats to take home! It’s worth the price for truly exceptional care. Price is reasonable as well. We have had a bad experience with another hospital in the area who told us Bentley was blind when he clearly isn’t so Flint River has been such a blessing to my babies. We’re getting Enzo neutered in a few weeks and I’m worried but I pray that all goes well for him. Highly recommend for nervous fur parents. They are awesome here!

The folks at Flint River genuinely care about our furbabies as well as us humans. I recently had to free my baby from this world and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and caring group of doctors and staff. I will never go anywhere else with my babies
