They have been taking care of our basset hound since he was a pup, he is 11 now. Dr. Combs does what is best for the animals and for pet owners too. She goes above and beyond we love her!

This review is long coming...And will probably be a long review as well. I moved to the Huntsville area in the fall of 2017. A good vet was top priority and I am blessed I found one for my two cats and two dogs. You never know when you move to a new place. I had two rescue cats and two boxers at the time. With my cats the vet immediately realized that one of my cats, which was adopted, had at one point a broken jaw. I was never told this by the rescue organization or my original vet of years from my previous hometown. She also realized my other cat was part of a catch and release program, something else my previous vet did not realize. She really knows what she is doing. Very in tune with what’s going on with an animal. After only being in Huntsville a month my oldest male boxer started having issues, and they always quickly would take him in when I needed help and for a bit he seemed to improve...until one day he just seemed off and couldn’t move, didn’t even want food, nor treats. I called them and they immediately took him in. I dropped him off for testing and I prayed they would call me and say it was nothing and he just ate something bad. The doctor called me back in and told me he indeed had a tumor and that his quality of life would only decline from there. Sadly, on groundhogs day 2018 I had to put him down. I was very upset but they handled the situation so professionally and were extremely kind to me and my Diesel. I couldn’t express my thanks then. I was too emotional. It was hard, but I can look back on the situation with a grateful heart and appreciation for the staff. When I picked up his ashes I didn’t speak to anyone but they gave me the box and I left quickly. When I got home I realized how wonderful these people were...I knew they were great, but they went above and beyond. I am not sure if they did this or the company who cremated him did, but it was so sweet regardless...with the box they had also made me an ornament with his paw print and name for a keep sake. Meant the world to me. About a week later I received a sympathy card signed by the vet which warmed my heart greatly and...a week after that I received notice that the vet and staff had purchased 5 trees to be planted in a national park in my dogs honor. Words can not express the gratitude. Today, I take all my animals there and only there! When I go on vacation they keep them safe and I never have to worry. I have had some behavior problems with one of my cats and the vet was able to fix the issue with a simple correction in litter box set up. I’ve lived in many states and have used many vets over the years. This is by far the best vet I’ve ever used. Very caring, professional and has wonderful empathy when you have to make that hard decision. I highly recommend! Thanks for almost 3 years of great vet care.

Dr. Combs is a wonderful vet with a wonderful staff. When I my 13 year old lab was dying they were very respectful and sweet to us. Dr. Combs is also a top notch vet that knows her stuff.

The veterinarian here is amazing!!! McCombs has done an amazing job with out Madison!!!
