Hendersonville friends, Please be informed where you’re taking your animals to the vet. Apple Valley Animal Hospital murdered my family’s kitten Panda after getting her spayed in their facility. I encourage all pet owners to bring your animals anywhere but here, they are not safe in this space. Their staff is completely unprofessional, incompetent and the surgeon who operated on our sweet kitten still will not call my family back. They claim her death is a “surprise” to them and they want to contribute her dying to underlying health conditions. This is completely ludicrous as we’ve taken her to this vet since the very day we got her, and she has been into their hospital three times in the following two months for routine shots and kitten check up before her surgery. They have noted nothing wrong with her in any visits, in fact comment on how healthy she is. She was operated on this past friday, the vet was informed Saturday that she was not doing good. She was taken back twice on Monday to Apple Valley Animal Hospital and they failed to help her in any way. Our kitten passed in the night on Monday. They even encouraged us to dig up her dead body and us pay for an autopsy—-nothing short of sick and disgusting. Our baby was completely healthy before this spayed they encouraged us to get. This hospital killed our kitten. Keep your animals safe and alive by choosing alternative vets. The death rate for a spayed/neutered is 0.1%. Please do your research on these vets.

Great experience with my new adopted dog. He was going in for a follow up. Everyone was very professional, patient answering all of my questions, treated my dog so well. I am happy to have them treating my new little guy!

Great vets and staff that cares about your pets.

As stated by many other reviews, this place lacks professionalism. They are more concerned about their pockets and not the well-being of the animals they are supposed to care for. It is sad that people are losing their family members because of this establishment. Please look into the vet you take your babies to be seen for MEDICAL care, this place seems to lack that portion of business.

Very caring staff ! Very good people when it comes to listening to your concern of your pet.

We had to take our dog for an emergency visit. Hospital was able to get us in the same day within an hour or so of our call. Our dog had to stay in ICU for two days. We received a phone update each evening and morning he was hospitalized. Doctor was helpful in walking through options and future steps depending on progress or lack of. ICU stays are not cheap but I felt their pricing was reasonable.

Everyone was very friendly. Dr. Lord friendly and kind to our Miss Callie. Dr McCall called a few days later (just as they said they would) was friendly, kind and informative. Very Impressed with this clinic. All my fur babies will be going there.

Entire team is very compassionate and the doctor is exceptionally thorough. We have a geriatric Golden Retriever and are new to the area and we're very happy that Dr. McKee was recommended.

Waited over 1 hour past my appointment time for 2 dogs and 1 cat to get vaccinations. If I didn’t live 1.45 to 2 hours away, I would have left. Not many vets carry rattlesnake vaccine but I guess I’ll need to look for another vet that carries it. I can’t stand this long of a wait for a routine, scheduled appointment that will invoke a large invoice at the end.

All the staff is friendly, loving makes you feel good about the care they are giving you pet especially since we can't go in with them do to covid.

We have used Apple Valley Animal Hospital for years. Dr McKee is passionate about the care he gives to our 4 legged children. Apple Valley Animal Hospital is professionally ran and operated. If you give them a chance to serve you and your pets you will wish you had done so sooner.
