We had to put our 10 year old, black mouth cur down because of his cancer and he went downhill really fast. We knew on a Saturday afternoon that it was his day and there was no way we could let him suffer until Monday (highly doubt he would have even made it even the rest of the day). We live in Shelbyville and all of the vets that seemed to be open on Saturday were closing at noon and we found good reviews for this animal hospital and saw that the hours would work. They had us fill out the necessary paperwork online ahead of time so that we wouldn't have to deal with that in person on such a devastating day. They also charged us a fair amount that was even more reasonable than our normal vet. When we brought our dog in, they accommodated him and made him as comfortable as could be and encouraged us that this was the right thing to do. They did not rush us to leave and they were very caring and supportive. I even got a sweet card with his paw prints enclosed. They made this horrible day much more bearable because of their kindness. Even though they are a one hour drive from our home, I would highly consider making the drive for our next dog's regular appointments because of the care we received at a flexible time without overcharging us. Thank you so much Williamson County Animal Control!

Thus used to be the greatest vet ever. Then they went all “urgent clinic”. Which was still ok and I’m glad for one locally. But then they changed the hours for urgent care prices to the point where no working person can get there. Plus, the level of care has went down…..even at non urgent rates, it’s just all about the $.

We have trusted these vets for over 20 years now. They are so caring! We drive an hour to continue to take our babies here!

I don't know why I waited so long to do this review. But I want people to know what I went through with these angels. I found a little kitten on the side of the road that was hit by a car. Emaciated, internal bleeding, anemic, femur broken right in half, and the worst part being a huge herniated abdomen. The poor things guts ripped through what holds them in and he had a huge lump from them on his side. I'm broke, but this hospital worked with me financially. I asked him to try to save the leg. William was our surgeon. Another DR told him to give up and amputate when the bone kept shattering during the surgery. He refused and kept working on it. He did it. My baby runs perfectly on all 4 legs now. The hernia was so large they ran out of skin to sew to. (they told me if this was the case they'd put him down) William sew it to the muscle and succeeded. He saved a tiny life when it would have been easier for him to give up. It means the world to us and to Oliver, our very healthy, loving cat. When I picked up little Oliver from the vet the nurse had him asleep in her arm while she worked with her other hand. These employees love animals and it shows, not like the other vets I've been to where your animal is just money to them.

I took my dog in due to breathing complications, it turned out he had pneumonia. The doctor prescribed some medication and said if the breathing got worse (which it was already bad so I don’t know how much worse it needed to get for them to keep him there) then bring him back in. He’s an old dog, so I know there’s a decent chance he won’t make it depending on how bad the pneumonia is, but there wasn’t really a sense of urgency from the doctor that indicated that death could easily happen. Well, he died a day later. If you’re in a serious situation like this, go elsewhere. If I bring my dog in worried that there’s a potentially lethal condition, I want to be told upfront the likelihood of what’ll happen, not false hope. I don’t know how they can x-ray my dog, see the pneumonia buildup, and not mention the fact that he could literally die within a day or two.

Highly recommend. Our dog had a one inch gash on her head from a scuffle with our other dog and they were the first place we called at 10pm that didn't have a wait (others were 2+ hours). The care they provided was fantastic and our girl is stitched up and on the mend thanks to them. They're a little far from us to be our regular vet, but I would definitely go to them again in the event of another emergency.

the 1st amazing experience I had with WCAH was a few years back when our 17 year old dog needed to be put down. they came out to the house and were so professional and patient; it was so peaceful, we couldn't have asked for a better ending for our Luna. the second amazing experience happened today. We don't live in Williamson County anymore and when i noticed a large laceration on our dog I took him to 2 animal hospitals out here in Hickman county. Both vets said they were busy with lunch and a staff meeting and could possibly see him tomorrow. I couldn't believe it, so I drove an hour into Franklin where WCAH took JAX right in and fixed him up! The values of this hospital show through in every staff member. they treat you and your pets like they are part of their family. I will never go anywhere else for pet care. truly top notch!!!

Williamson County Animal Hospital helped my cat with a broken tooth when the top three major Vets In Columbia could Not perform a tooth extraction. It was such a relief to know that the caring staff of Williamson County Animal Hospital not only performed the procedure that day, but was also super affordable. AAA+++ Now My “Go To” Vet

6-7-2021 Just a few weeks ago we took our cat Charlie to this vet due to him peeing blood and just not able to urinate correctly. The veterinarian told us it was just crystals in his bladder and that Charlie will be okay after we received x-rays and other test. We were so worried it was blockage but the Veterinarian thought we were crazy for thinking that and sent us home with medication. Well with all this being said , we had to put our sweet Charlie to sleep this morning due to blockage. RIP Sweet boy. You will be missed. I do suggest that you take the time to know your veterinarian before committing to them !

The best vet clinic I have been to! The entire staff is amazing and very friendly. I have a German Shepard who needs me to be in the room with him while getting shots, etc. he only trust me and it has been difficult to find a vet clinic that doesn't offer only curbside. I took my two dogs there, and they did fantastic with them. They really went out of there way to make sure me and my two dogs felt comfortable. Endless thank you's to the vet and his staff for making us feel welcome.

Our lab had these huge cyst on him and we went to another vet and he told us just to let them grow ???? So we decided to just take him here and they did surgery on him and he has healed up perfectly! We are so Grateful we found this wonderful Veterinarian clinic! They will definitely be our veterinarian clinic forever even though we moved to Murfreesboro!;) Thank You Soooo Much to our vet and the wonderful caring staff! ❤️

Very professional and attentive. Very empathetic and great listening skills by the entire staff. The cost was reasonable as well. Update:. I wanted to add another year of experience to this review. The staff here is incredible from the office, to the techs and from the fellow clients to the doctors. I adore this place for quick nail trims to more serious issues with my furbabies. These guys and gals are by far the best vet experience I have had the pleasure of experiencing in all my pet ownership. Their prices are exceptionally reasonable for the type of care and experience you receive. If I could give them ten stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, I would.

I don't just love this place-Chloe does as well. They're all so wonderful with their clients. Chloe loves to come here and she has zero fear and has complete trust of everyone. Dog's review counts; she knows how they all care and can feel their love for her. She gives it 4 /4 paws up!

The doctors are very friendly and it really works for me that they take walk-ins. Of the vets in the area, I've found that their prices are the most reasonable, if only by a little

Over the years, we've been to many vets. We moved here from NC back in August 2005 with 5 cats on board our moving truck with us. When we got here, we ended up taking in 1 more cat and six dogs!!! Our first addition was in October 2006 with our Sammie girl. Williamson has always been a fabulous place to go for vet care. But with being so busy in our family, we began going to vets that were closer to us since it's a little bit more of a drive. While the other vets were good, Williamson has always been my first choice. We have gone back to them throughout the years as well...And we have started going back to them more and more recently as our animals remaining have all become elders. We've had cancers, hip dysplasia, lumbosacral stenosis...I always feel secure in the recommendations and treatment from Williamson Animal Hospital.

I have been taking my pets to Williamson County Animal Hospital for over 15 years and they are the best there is. Kind, compassionate veternarians who really listen. They truly love animals and care about your pet. They know their stuff too and I trust their wisdom. I can't say enough good things about WCAH. They give top of the line care.

This hospital is being reported for disclosing a patient’s contact information to the public. This clinic is unbelievably unprofessional and uneducated in the law.

Wonderful facility caring and loving employees and many volunteers. But there's hardly any selection of dogs that aren't pitbulls . If you want a house dog you go to Petco on Saturday morning. Privately funded shelters bring lap dogs to adopt

They have taken real good care of our Julie, Maggie and Zoe during the time we’ve lived in Franklin. Their fees are so much more reasonable than some of the chain/brand hospitals and you don’t feel that your dogs are being treated with anything less than the topmost care. They’re also fantastic with handling your fur baby’s remains when they pass away and we’ll always appreciate how they took care of our Maggie after she said goodbye.

First time visitor for my rabbit's neutering. Due to the situation, all admin was done outside and he was given to a staff at the same time. ( I never got out of my car) . His recovery is amazing, appreciate experienced Dr and staff! Just one thing is that price was not the same what I was told on the phone. Overall, I would give 5 stars. Just because Dr's skills and custom service is phenomenal.

We do use the clinic but some of the Drs. recommend test that are not always needed. I just carried our dog in for itching and ask for a medication I saw on TV. I was told the meds really worked but with all the other stuff it ended up costing $235 .Not what I expected. Hope it works.

Great staff. My dog loves them so much I still go to them even though I moved and pass a dozen vets on the way there.

Best vet in the area. Caring, considerate and quick with no appointment needed. Took care of my baby Artemis and her staple removal at no charge after needing to use another vet as an emergency. Also helped me with saying goodbye to my KittyKitty a couple months ago, with great compassion and understanding. Always a great experience with them.

I have been going here for over 20 years and I just can't say enough good things about this vet. Over the last 2 weeks we encountered a sudden illness with our golden doodle. She was only 4 so this was surprising. Dr. Forrest Reynolds treated us like family. My dog needed a blood transfusion and surgery. Dr. Reynolds kept her over the weekend and personally came in to watch over her. Securing other dogs that are willing to be blood donors is not an easy task....he helped me with everything. My husband and I have cried a million tears in his office. We lost our sweet girl in the end. We had no idea cancer was so prevalent in golden retrievers and her being a golden doodle the cards were stacked against us. Her cancer was a fast spreading, ugly, relentless type. Dr. Reynolds did not take advantage of us financially as so many vets may have. He helped us in every way he could. He practices medicine from the heart. The amount of time he spent with us and help he gave us was unbelievable. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.
