Friendly staff and always has my pups food!

I had gone to the store the other day to see what they had, since I haven't visited the store in a while.When I walked in I notice the poor quality of the betta tanks and how much algae and how cloudy the containers where kept! I was DISGUSTED and OUTRANGED at the lack of not only the bettas care but the fresh and salt water fish care! watching the fish tanks(what I COULD see) so cloudy with not only regular algae but the black algae as well! The fish where also eating off each other (off all the dead ones) and they were hardly active (only the new ones bought were moving).I also noticed the drain on the ground was molded to the color of green/blue. There were things thrown everywhere, AND I nearly fell if I didn't look behind me. The dog supplies looked like a DUMP full of toys not organized. The animals are much higher priced than they appropriately were, and all sizes and different species WERE together when they most likely could eat or kill each other! For an ANIMAL SPECIALIST like myself ,and for a person who HAS GONE TO THAT STORE WHEN IT FIRST OPENED up until now is UPSETTING and EMBARRASSING to see for myself and knowing it could be better than this! by Nina Klein

Update! Site refuses to publish my review! They shaved my dog all over after I explicitly stated LEAVE HIS HAIR!! Right before Christmas, makes this the most unbelievable thing I have ever had to deal with! They claim he was matted too bad, but he was not! You could run your fingers right through his hair. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!!! I should have known something was off when they had so many open spots and my normal petco was fully booked this close to Christmas. See before and after pics. All pics are less than a week old. It also took them 5 hours to RUIN my dog. Unbelievably unacceptable.

Walked in yesterday and an employee walked right by me and didn't speak a word. I looked for an item for 10 minutes while two other employees walked by and they didn't speak a word. As I walked down the main aisle to leave the employees were huddled near the cash register laughing and cutting up, never speaking a word to me, the only customer in the store. I went to Petsmart five minutes from this location and was greeted at the door. An employee helped me find what I needed and I made my purchase. Besides being over priced, Petco locations have horrible customer service too.

I found my best friend today thanks to petco and the fix foundation. So happy to have a new addition to the family. He was already fixed with shots and a microchip. I am so happy to give him his forever home.

I was pleased with the grooming job performed on my dog.

We just adopted a dog and stopped by Petco on the way home. They were very helpful suggesting a good food and training regime.

Never enough staff to help

They had saltwater critters cheaper than my saltwater go to store And they even let us use there carrying cage for our hedgehog while we shopped

This is my favorite PetCo to have our Shih Tzu groomed. The groomers listen to what I want and do it! Plus they are very nice to our sweet little girl. We have tried some other Petco and Pet Smart places (Antioch, LaVergne and Smyrna) this is the best! We travel 30 minutes to take our dog here. I highly recommend them!

Bought dog food here for our pups and got it home only to open the bag and have it smell terrible. Checked the expiration date and it was 7 months past the expiration date. This shouldn’t even be allowed on the shelves. Definitely check food or treats before buying them here!

I’ve been calling this location for TWO WHOLE DAYS straight (9 times to be exact) and I’ve even texted the work phone. All this…just to cancel one of my appointments because I accidentally scheduled two (me trying to be thoughtful of someone else’s time). The lack of communication made me question if I even want my pup to continue going to this location. He will not be returning. I hope in the future this store provides better communication services because honey this is ridiculous.

We have had nothing but great experiences with the grooming services at this Petco. Our dog loves seeing her groomer friends and always comes home looking adorable, feeling super soft, and smelling so nice!

I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else to be groomed. I have to be honest, it is not so much the store but the groomer that I use. My groomer Jordan, has groomed our dog for four years, since he was a puppy. I had taken our dog elsewhere and was told he needed to be sedated to be groomed. I explained this to Jordan and my concerns and having to sedate him. Houston, our dog, has not once had to be sedated with Jordan. Houston is always so happy to see Jordan. I know he is in good hands and trust Jordan, he doesn’t trust everyone. Jordan’s grooming is top notch!!!

Do not take your pets here for grooming. I had an appointment yesterday at 4:30 got there and the lady took my dog in and said he’ll be done around 7! Mind you I had drove 30 minutes to get there so I was waiting outside in the parking lot for him to get groomed. Around 5:50 I get a phone call saying they’re taking him to an emergency vet because he had an “accident” and no description was given. I went Inside the store and tried to ask who was grooming him the guy who was working the cash register just walked away saying that “I need to do something I’ll be back” so I drove to the vet and found out that they had cut his skin in half under his arm and he had to end up getting 5 sutures. They did end up paying for the bill but there was no apology received from any of the staff, the guy who had taking my dog to the vet had drove away while I was waiting outside for 4 hours. They should not allow people who don’t know what they’re doing and definitely not allow them to groom dogs.

Clean, well stocked and staff was friendly

Josh at Petco in Franklin, TN was incredible mean and disrespectful to our children. I will never go back. He treated our kids like he was better them them and was very rude and condescending! My children walked out in visible sobbing terms...so sad, his mother would be embarrassed!

Disappointed. Store was a complete mess, and the product was nearly double the Amazon price with shipping included.

They have great prices and it is easy to find the products I need.

Looking for 3 different items. Didn't sell any of them. Tried to send me to another towns pet store. Ordering on line. One would think with rent due it would be better that stores carry items. On line works, but preferred in person buying.

Do not recommend for grooming no matter when you take your dog you’ll be waiting 2+ hours. I took my dog in last Saturday for a bath which is supposed to include a 15 minute brush, they squeezed us in which I’m grateful for but I even told the lady “if it will be any trouble on you all I can just come another day” she said it wouldn’t but it would take a while, which I was absolutely fine with but when I get my dog back around his eyes were clearly not cleaned, his belly still looked the same (slight matting), I only took him here because I’d be busy that day if I would’ve known they weren’t going to do as advertised I would have went elsewhere or did it myself. A waste of my money and my time considering nothing was done the right way, I truly don’t even think they bathed him either.
