Taking good care of our pets

These people are the greatest, I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else

I take my pups to this vet. A while back my dog had an abscess on the bottom of her neck. The vet feels it and IMMEDIATELY says “oh that’s cancer” takes her to the back and comes back and says it’s an abscess. I mean who says that without test?! Then a vet tech cut her nail in the quick and brought her back to me pouring blood and left her til the vet actually came in and he had to go fix it. There’s just no way they didn’t see that. My last experience the vet was just not friendly. She just had a bad attitude and it was very clear she did not want to spend much time seeing my dogs. I understand stuff happens and people have bad days but all three experience have been something. We will be finding a new vet unfortunately.

I have been taking my babies to animal medical center since 07 and now I live in Summerville the way they treat my animals I will stay with them.

Such friendly and caring staff and doctors. They have taken such good care of my two furchildren.

The front desk staff and the female vet are great. Unfortunately, the male vet's insensitivity and incompetence overshadows that. My dog was having a strange reaction to seizure medicine and we brought her in to see if that was normal. Even though he couldn't explain her symptoms he assured us that a blood panel would only prove that nothing was wrong with her from the neck down. We bring her back in days later and she can barely stay awake, won't eat, vomiting, etc. He then repeats that a blood panel won't be worthwhile. We ask for one anyway and then he finds that her kidneys aren't functioning properly, she's dehydrated, and she needs to be on an IV overnight to flush out her kidneys. We take her to an emergency vet and they tell us that she's not just dehydrated but is in kidney failure. I cannot imagine what about her symptoms made him think that nothing could be wrong with her but the meds or a brain tumor, but it costs my dog days of treatment. She was also in pain much longer than she could have been. We don't know yet if she will be able to survive this or not but if we had followed the advice of the vet here it would have certainly let to the end of her life within days.

Excellent, compassionate care. They were a blessing when I really needed it!!!

They take good care of my pups. We have 3 rescues, so they volunteered a discount, which is very much appreciated.

I brought my kitten into this place because he was not doing good, in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours and finally got in the back, doctor walked in and asked “where is he” when they had him in the incubator before hand he went and got him and carried him smothered in between his blanket and we thought he was dead the way he handled it. He was in such a rush and being very inconsiderate to me and my kitten, compared him to a 4,000$ cat saying if it was one of them maybe he would consider doing tests. As he was showing me the way he wanted me to feed him I said that he was doing so good the days prior and all he said was “sorry” with a smart remark attitude. Said he wanted my kitten to get better so he could take my money in the future. After we left we didn’t even make it home in time before my little kitten passed away. This doctor shouldn’t be able to call himself a veterinarian. He shouldn’t have a license, he only cares about money and not your animals. DO NOT BRING YOU ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANTED TO LEAVE WITH A HALF DEAD ONE. Should be ashamed.

Very friendly staff and excellent veterarians they don't try to get you to do unnecessary treatments and test and are not rushing you in and out our vet was more than willing to educate and answer all of our questions I will continue to use this practice from now on for our fur babies

I absolutely love this place. They take care of all of your pets needs without overcharging. The staff is amazing. I won't take my pets anywhere else.

While I will say that this is certainly a good animal hospital, it's also one of the most expensive. Your pet will be taken care of but it's going to cost you.

Dr. Sean Haddock is amazing! After nearly two years of misdiagnoses, harsh medications, “ALLERGIES” and thousands of dollars from a VERY popular vet in town- he was able to correctly diagnose my dog in a total of 4 visits. He actually listens to the pet owner! Also- he called me to check on Cooper…. WOW… I could barely get the other place to answer the phone. They are cost conservative and honestly CARE about animals here. I will never go anywhere else! Thank you, Dr. Haddock, for taking care of Cooper!

Our yorkie jumped from our car window after pulling in the driveway and injured himself to a degree he couldn't walk at all in his hide legs. The staff and Dr here were amazing! After a routine exam the Dr even saved me 120.00 on x-rays I was positive he needed considering the circumstances. One day later he's walking and running as if nothing ever happened. I couldn't be any happier with the services as well the honest advice willing to save a single dad money. You don't find that kind of ppl often.

Great place for a weekend need. My deaf cat Zero had an infection and they saw him with little notice and we were in and out for under $100 with meds and it took less than an hour. Fantastic place and friendly staff.
