There is not enough praise that one can give to the staff be it the vets,daycare, and everyone inbetween. My dog was on a spiral and vet doctor griffith brought him back better than hed been in six years. I wont forget to mention the amazing daycare they provide has kept my dogs activity and attention when im at work. When you drive in you can see the multiple yards and styles and small groups of dogs running around and playing or somebody is one on one with a dog. There are just to many positives for me to appreciate.

I can't even begin to tell how wonderful this clinic is. From Dr. Griffith and Dr. Taylor to all the vet techs and staff that run this great practice. Our dogs are our lives and there is no other place we will go for their care and well being. From the moment we get them as puppies to all the way to their last days with us, I will only trust Dr. Griffith and Dr. Taylor and staff.

All 5 of our dogs go here! Dr. Griffith and Dr.Taylor are amazing and truly care about your pet! The rest of the staff are attentive and caring when working with my animals and I always feel comfortable knowing they’re in the right hands!

I boarded my Yorkies with DAC, PC for a few days, all were well prior to boarding. Upon pick up and after arriving home all 3 were coughing constantly. I reported my Yorkies were experiencing coughing episodes, the vet was willing to evaluate 1 of my Yorkies and later advised me there was contact and exposure from another pet with with kennel cough at the clinic while my Yorkies were boarding. After paying boarding fees and Bordatella vaccine for each, I spent an additional $140.00 to treat my Yorkers for kennel cough. I was disappointed that the vet did not assume responsibility for the cost to treatment given they were exposed and infected with kennel cough from another pet while being boarded at Decatur Animal Care. I will never board my pets there again and I do not recommend anyone boarding there fur babies due to how my case was managed and potential exposures.

I love how they treat my kitten! Everyone is great here and everything is plainly explained before they do it.

Great friendly staff. They watch and baby my Rottweiler 4 days a week. She is always excited to go to "school."

I've been using DAC for my dogs for several years now. Dr. Griffith and her staff have always been loving, respectful, and gentle. They've treated my dogs with the same care they'd treat their own. Dr. Griffith has had to help three of my dogs cross over the rainbow bridge, and I couldn't ask for a sweeter spirit be with us and to hug my boys and love on them as we were telling them goodbye. Now I have a younger dog, and going to the Doggy Daycare at DAC has been the best thing in the world for him. He has a great time playing with other dogs that are similar in size and energy level, while I'm at work. If you're looking for a safe and fun place for your dog to spend the hours you're at work - look no further! I love this clinic and the team that keeps it running. Great folks.

The vets and techs are very sweet and you can tell they really care about the pets! I trust them wholeheartedly with my fur babies.

Both doctors sees my dogs and they are great! Very caring and invested in each animal to make sure the right and proper care is given. They explain everything well and give great guidance not only for physical health but also behavior health. The techs are wonderful, too! Very loving and helpful in every way possible. They will not push you into a treatment your not comfortable with and will work with you on what is best for you and your pet. They seek outside help when needed and their follow up is superior. I have recommended Decatur Animal Care to everyone I know that has a pet or may be thinking about one! Also, they offer boarding and they are great with that too! They answered all my questions and never once made me feel ridiculous asking such trivial questions. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in their care!

I'm a truck driver and our home vet is in North Carolina. We were coming through to deliver in Decatur and our Boxer was sick. We called when we were about 1hr away and they were able to fit us in to see the Vet and get him some meds. We want to say Thank You so much for helping us out.

My dogs have been well cared for. Staff is informative. Vets offer options like these were their very own animals.

Everyone who works here is AWESOME!!!!! They helped my dog Braveheart live his best life after he was saved from a puppymill, and they always take care of my dog Lucy when she is sick. They take care of our cat, too. The people who work here are just exceptional people in every single way. They are awesome and friendly!

I just love Dr. Griffith. She takes time with my dog and with me. Answers all of my questions and concerns. Love the staff too. They remember me even though I just pop in 2 times a year. I don't really have to wait as they are usually on time with appointments. I highly recommend them for your pet's needs.

They neutered my pup with no problem but their customer service is lacking. The first time I boarded him, the lady did not mention Sunday pick-up even after I said, "Well I guess you guys are like the rest and I have to pick him up …

Absolutely the best. Dr. Dishman and Dr. Griffith are extremely caring with my dogs and cat, willing to work with me on a plan of care when needed (and since I adopt older dogs, it is quite often needed). When I've had to euthanize a beloved pet, the staff and Doctors are caring and courteous. Dr. Griffith has answered the phone herself after hours to handle emergency calls. I was in a bind once, trying to get too much done in too little time, had my dogs in the kennels there, and did not want to leave them over the weekend. I called and asked if I could be 15 minutes late (after closing) to pick them up so they did not have to stay in the kennels the entire weekend. No problem. Someone on the staff stayed late and my dogs went home with me.

Dishman Animal Clinic is incredible! We've taken our pets there for over 15 years. The level of care and compassion throughout the life of our babies has been wonderful. They are excellent with all the various stages of life, but we have been especially touched with their dedication and medical management of elder pet health and chronic illness. They go above and beyond in their care and treatment and have always been there for our family during pet emergencies and end of life care. They love animals and that love is reflected in the warm compassionate hearts of every team member! Thank you for being the best veterinarian team in North Alabama!
