Best Friends Veterinary Hospital Crossville, Tennessee

We were instructed to call Best Friends Vet after our sick cats had been seen at Homestead if any problems may arise. The babies seemed better after a shot of steroids and being thoroughly treated by vet. He did add that they may need a regiment of steroids until they are stronger.... Well, they stopped eating after about (2) days of being treated_ Holidays of course, so no vets open thus we called Best Friends (as instructed) to please help us to at least get a few steroids called into Vital Care Pharmacy so the babies would at least eat! I explained all of this to the emergency personnel. The young lady says_ "Sorry but there is nothing we can do but call in a vet and that will really cost you on Christmas Eve" ???? Dear LORD people_ has every business/medical profession gotten so cold-hearted and greedy for the almighty dollar that they couldn't call (2-3) steroids into the pharmacy to keep these babies alive through the holidays; they will eat on steroids. We saw that when they were given the shot of steroids. So, it isn't like we are asking for new meds or a new prescription to try. We just wanted enough steroid to keep these babies alive until we could get them back to be seen again. No one cares. It's all about the $$$ Anyone reading this please pray for Sasha, Chopper, and Spanky_ These sick babies need your prayers. God is our HOPE ☝️

We recently moved to Crossville TN and needed to find a new Vet for our two senior fur babies. Our neighbors recommended Best Friends and we were not disappointed. The vet and tech were attentive to our input and concerns. They handled our babies with gentleness and care. It was a great experience for all. Thank you Best Friends!

Great staff who cares about your pets and all ways treat them kindly and respectfully. They are somewhat pricey, but worth it my opinion.

Good folks who really care

On Saturday, I went into this clinic for the first time. My baby Lady was extremely sick needless to say my girl didn't make it. The staff that assisted me was absolutely wonderful if I ever get another fur baby I will definitely go back. The ladies were very sympathy and compassionate and I greatly appreciate that. Wonderful place

Best Friends may be a little pricey, but the staff and the care is second to none. Summit is a 60+ pound, 10 month old lap dog! He is a lot to love. Between well visits, sickness, surgery, and boarding, he is always excited to be there. I would recommend Best Friends hands down. PS Summit is a good dog, but you could compare him to the ADHD child with no focus and mountains of energy coupled with curiosity more than a cat!

Top notch veterinarian staff! Whether calling office to schedule an appt or to ask questions, to doctors visit, to follow up… this clinic is absolutely the best place to bring your pet. They are a caring group of professionals, and I always leave feeling confident that I have provided my pet with the most comprehensive care available.

Dr. Nika Cantrell is great. She answered all our questions and paid attention to what we were concerned about. It's always stressful when you move and have to find a new vet. But we are very comfortable with Best Friends. They have made the transition much easier.

Always honest and caring for our dogs. Always willing to work you in if there is any issues with your pet and they go above and beyond to find the root cause of the issue. Love all the staff here, never met one that wasn't friendly and courteous to everyone who walks through the door.

My bulldog had been itching and slinging her head so I called they got her in same day. Dr. Miller treated her and gave me a schedule for her meds to follow. She explained everything very thoroughly to me on what to do. I would recommend Best Friends to everyone with fur babies. All the staff is fantastic, caring and good with your pet. My pet was having an emergency we waited approx 15min where another vet twn told us a min. Of a 2hr wait and they "would fit us in" my cat was in a room in a half hr they took the situation as serious as I did bld work was done & ready asap results were bad we were given the news respectfully and with the kindness tht was needed in the situation they gave us the time to say goodbye gave kitty Xanax then the time came it was done with gentle hand all burial services were explained and offered they did their very best in an awful situation

I had to rush my cat there in a emergency and they took great care of him. They were very clear with what needed to be done and very kind knowing how worried we were. They answered the phone at all hours of the night so we could check on him. I will never take my pets anywhere else.

honestly love this place! it's been trial and error finding somewhere i'm comfortable and my baby (dog) is comfortable. the staff is super sweet from receptionist, to the vet techs and the vet herself. the prices to be honest are a little more than most other near by places BUT, in all honesty i'd rather spend a little more where i'm comfortable and my dog is getting treated very well. can't put a price on comfort for us. would very much recommend this place!
