Amazing place! Just adopted a dog named Titan from there. And I already love him so much! They take such great care of their animals. And before they allow any of the pets to be adopted, they require two hour long visits to make sure the animal is going to a good owner. This place runs on donations and is such a great cause! Please donate money or pet supplies. There needs to be more places like this so animals don't end up in pounds and kill shelters. This place reminds me of a loving daycare/camp for animals until they can find them a permenant home. You can tell the workers spend a lot of time loving and taking care of these sweet animals.

Not impressed with adoption process. First come first serve is great, but had to visit twice with different volunteers and they wouldn't say if their was other interest in the dog. Next day, we came, dog was gone. Traveled a distance for nothing. They could have said there was other people interested. Voluneers are very nice. Founder was unfriendly and ignored us every time we went there. Not going back.

A wonderful little shelter. Their staff are great to work with and really know the animals they have in their care. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to adopt a furry family member or who is looking to make a donation of time or money.

A superb establishment for the caring of dogs and cats. Successful adoption rate and great place for children and the elderly to visit. I was a volunteer there but left. The negative side was being singled out by some lead volunteers and ridiculed. Hurt but appreciate the interaction I had with the animals, especially a dog named Buddy.

Very nice helpful people, adopted a seemingly lovely dog, we were told she had no flees which she did, but luckely thats an easy fix, the only downside is we were not told about the extent of her bad dominant behaviour, we will be keeping and training her. i just wish i had known from day one to instantly start different training, overal very happy with our new companion, and we would return here.

Took a dog in when I found it walking on the side of the road. It was starving and could barely walk. I kept her for a few days and took her to Ark, they told me they couldn't take her because she was too old and not the desired breed they take in. Please do not go to this awful place.

I was disappointed when the Ark turned down my stray black kitten, but I am grateful to them for their policy. They only take pets that they feel confident are good candidates for adoption because The Ark is small and is not subsidized. Taking in the highly adoptable pets is the only way The Ark can continue to exist. I think we need a place like The Ark for animals that are extra special. It would break my heart to give a quality animal to a home that may not treat it very well. Not that all animals aren't special, they are. And ALL animals should be treated well. But some pets really do stand above the others & it helps me to know these exceptional cats and dogs do have a place like The Ark.

This is a great non-profit no kill shelter that takes great care of the dogs and cats. They are also very careful about who they adopt the animals out to in order to make sure the animals get good homes. Very clean and organized.
