Chattagroomer Chattanooga, Tennessee

Had to find a new groomer for our Golden and gave Chattagroomer a try. We were able to get an appointment within a week so that was nice. Staff was very friendly and professional. Our girl came home looking so clean and pretty! I liked that she was waiting for me in a gated off area by the window rather than a crate. Great job and we'll definitely return!

Couldn't groom my cats but still charged me 40$ no one answered the phone all morning.

The first time we took our poodle mix he had some more severe matting and had to be shaved, for his bath and full groom it was $91. We took him again today for just a bath and tidy trim of his face, bum, etc, because his coat was still short from being shaved last time. We were advised that he had some tangles starting which required some extra brushing, and the total came to $98. On the invoice he was listed at 50-60 pounds, which I brought to their attention because he is only 42 pounds and was billed that way last time. She refused to adjust the invoice and said it was because of his coat type but that doesn’t explain why he was billed at the wrong weight. It doesn’t make sense to be charged more this time for a 3 hr bath & tidy with some extra brushing ($98) than I was for a full groom and shave with excessive matting which took 5+ hours ($91). Either way, (without the charge for the extra brushing) just a bath and tidy was $80 which is extreme in my opinion, especially for a 42 pound dog. I think the cuts are so cute, but judging from my experience today and the price, I would recommend to keep shopping around for a different groomer, unless the price isn’t a factor for you. EDIT: Hi Emily! Thanks for your response. No need to refund any portion of the fee for extra detangling. I wasn't aware he had such tangles but I appreciate your expertise and am sure it was needed. I have no complaints about that fee. The problem I had was him being charged the wrong weight, so thank you for fixing it. It is disappointing that I brought this up in the shop and wasn't even given the courtesy of a second look to see if it was wrong or not and have to make a google review to get customer service. Still, I appreciate the assistance and resolution, and wish Chattagroomer the best of luck moving forward.

They do an awesome job on my Huskies

I have been bringing my dog daughter here for a few years now and everyone is always so kind and so sweet my puppers always smells amazing when I pick her up and during covid I really appreciate the workers wearing there masks. Always affordable so glad I found this place.

They always make my cat Vandy look fabulous! They also deal with bathing my big goof of a bloodhound as well as grooming my pug mix.

They are great with my Golden! He comes home beautiful every time!

Professionals who do good work.

The staff goes the extra mile to work with my rescue who has issues. They have helped to lower his stress when getting groomed. I highly recommend their work.

I've been to many dog groomers over the last 15 years but no one has done a great job like Chattagroomer has and that includes petsmart, petsence and petco. Chattagroomer is my place to go from now on. Thanks again Chattagroomer. Mr. Kelly

I loved it people will pay for excellent work and they do awesome, work and it's cheap compared to places like petco

They were kind to take my frenchie close to closing time, it was our first time there, so I wanted to give some brief instructions about my dog but before I could, they whisked her back and put her in the tub instantly! I only wished they would've taken two minutes to listen to any concerns. Otherwise, they did good and trimmed her nails nicely.

DO NOT USE THESE GROOMERS! They hurt my 80 year old Mother-in-law's Yorkie mix's ribs and will NOT take accountability for it! Tried to say he was stepped on by the person picking him up! We were not asking for anything free or a discount, just wanted to know why he is screaming when you touch his side. Things happen and we understand that but don't blame it on someone else! We will spread the word all over about this!

Love this place my dogs love the workers and they always leave smelling good. Prices are wonderful and easy to pay

I agree with others, the negative reviews seem more based on their personal frustrations rather than the quality of the Chattagroomer team. I have a Boykin spaniel and have been told by untrustworthy places his fur needs to be cut before even meeting him. But Chattagroomer assessed his fur and agreed with me that he only needed trimming and a bath. We will be going back monthly, they were incredible.

Best hole in the wall EVER!!

Staff was friendly and my baby was cute, but I asked for a full body cut and they only cut her back and belly, left her legs long haired. Not what I asked for.

They always do a great job and my babies aren't mistreated in any way.

Emily (and everyone) always take such good care of our 16 year old toy poodle, Harry! He looks amazing every time and the staff is super!

I moved to the Chattanooga area a few months ago, and found Chattagroomers. I am just thrilled with how the groomer treats my Mr.Bilbo Bagen's. He always looks so nice upon pickup an i would highly recommend this shoppe !! God Bless all that works at this establishment !

I have a Labrador retriever who sheds so much and they do a great job with taking care of him! They give a nice de-shed bath that makes him smell so good and feel so soft! They’re really nice every time I go and even let Hudson leave with a cute bandana. Highly recommend for your fur babies! Thank you for always letting me leave with a great experience!

Recently took my flat coat retriever to see Lora and her team. I was super impressed with how clean and organized her shop is. They got us in right away at our appointment time, no waiting like some other places we’ve used. The Chattagroomer team outdid themselves. He was clean and smelled so good. Not sure what magic potion they use but he even smelled good for over a week. Let me tell you with having a large dog that likes to go outside in this heat, that just doesn’t happen. Bravo Team Chattagroomer!!!! Oh and then the brushing. WOW they did a FANTASTIC job. He was completely smooth and soooooo soft and again he has stayed that way for a very long time. We have always used one of the larger chain stores for grooming but no more! Chattagroomer will be getting ALL of our business from here on out!! Thanks again Lora and thanks to your amazing staff!!!
