I can’t report on the clinical care, but I did call to request new patient availability for my senior dog who needed a wellness exam. Honestly, I would have been fine with a waitlist or just a kinder delivery, but the way this info was delivered was not very tactful or kind. I was told, in a less than tactful way “We aren’t taking new clients right now.” No apologies, no waitlist, no explanation. I actually felt like I was annoying a complete stranger by requesting an appointment.

I was quoted three different prices for getting my male dog nurtured. When I first scheduled the appointment it was $140 for the surgery and $15.99 for rabies vaccination. I was assured that this was the only expense, after I asked multiple times if there was going go be any additional charges for medications or anything do to his age. The day before the appointment it was quoted $160 for the surgery, plus the cost of rabies vaccination. The day I arrived for the appointment I was told it was going to be a total of $290. There is cleary miscommunication between the staff and lack of documentation in their system. I was told they only put your information in the system when you arrive for the appointment, however they called my number yesterday confirming my appointment.

Doctor Roten is a caring veterinary doctor.Just hard to get appointment.

No frills. Very professional. Took great care of our dog emergency in a timely manner and referred us back to our vet for follow up. Thanks!

Beware of this place... Nickeled and dimed to an almost $400 bill for an exam, very simple blood test, and ear drops and shampoo. Asked for a prescription to get shampoo online at a later date. They called in a prescription for us, but we then got a bill in the mail for a $5 prescription writing fee. Unbelieveable. Don't risk it, go somewhere else.

Great little animal clinic! I didn't have much contact or interaction with any of the doctors or other staff because of the pandemic. But curbside service was excellent. Prices were pretty good too, only like $45 for the exam and then multiple shots/vaccines for another $45 and it all only took about 10 minutes. Definitely would recommend

The Man the fr.desk was very knowledgeable all questions were answered like he was the Dr. Clean inside.dont look at the outside the the in side so beautiful.

Love the doctor kara rotten would not take my babys nowhere else

We had to have our incredible fifteen year old cat, Onyx euthanized due to late stage kidney failure when we couldn't be present due to the COVID pandemic. It was an agonizing thing to endure emotionally, but Dr. Roten, Katie, and Jamie did their best to give our kitty lots of love and comfort throughout the process. Their genuine care put our hearts at ease knowing that Onyx's last moments were calm and peaceful. We can never adequately express our gratitude to Dr. Roten and the staff at AMC for all they did for us during such a difficult time.

My favorite vet excellent service and communication

I just want to say that the front desk people to Dr. Roten are all friendly and kind. I lost my best friend and they were so understanding and comforting during the procedure. I have taken my dogs here for 15+ years and have never had a complaint about the care or personnel that work there. Their prices are fair and as always you are included in any decisions prior to the treatment of your pet. I highly recommend and will continue taking my babies to see the staff and Dr. Roten.

I love Dr. Roten's office. All of the staff are friendly and nice. They care about the animals and will help you out when you are concerned about your pet. I have boarded my dogs their for years and they are always super well taken care of, fed, and given a bath before I pick them up. I could not recommend this Vet more.

We were looking for a new vet as we just moved to town. They were disorganized when we got there. The facility was run down and seemed to be patched together in places. The prices were higher than what were used to paying in a larger market. Although the people were nice and friendly, we will keep looking for the right vet for us.

Very caring veterinarian. She looks for the least expensive, least invasive way of treating the animals, which is a huge relief in so many different ways. The techs are great and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Friendly, quick and professional. Usually have to wait a few minutes but that's ok, I get to see the other cats and dogs that come in.
