What a great shop for the furry friends! It has so much stuff inside. I was surprised over and over again buy how big this place was as we walked around. Picked up some snacks and holiday goodies for our pets!

Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful far beyond my expectations. There are other places I could buy the same products or buy online and have them delivered but I will gladly make the drive to to My Best Friend's Barkery. I was chatting with Erika about the dog food I was buying and why I chose those particular items. She remembered me from a call I had made to the shop well over a month ago! ???? It's not the norm to run across folks like that anymore. To say I was impressed would be a ridiculous understatement.

I went in for an emergency harness because my 5 month old Weimaraner puppy decided to chew through hers while we were out driving. The girl working today was so helpful! She showed me all the options, gave me a demonstration on how to put each one on, and gave me a rundown on the different types and what they were best for. I was a little worried they were going to be too expensive based on the location, but I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was. Plus everything I saw was made on the US, which was a huge plus! Definitely recommend.

Absolutely love this place! They have all your dog and cat needs covered. Food, treats, toys… They also carry grain free foods and CBD oils for your dog or cat.

This is the best source for healthy food, treats, toys, and supplies for your dogs and cats. I love it and stop in there often. I travel an hour and a half to get there, but it is the best! +Coach Jon, Old Fort NC

Loved this shop. They carried just about anything you can think of for your fur baby. A little pricey and couldn't find anything in my baby's size. (S) The sweaters were adorable!

Customer service is a plus and well.... There wasnt any. Also why have dogs laying all over the place and NOT be allowed to touch any. Talk about socially awkward. Its a dog "bakery" and they had 2 cold frosted dog bone choices.

Love this store!! Everything you need for your dog or cat. Recently purchased this Snuggle Puppy for my kitten and my kitten loves it. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend stopping at this pet store!

The shop has a terrific selection of toys and healthy food/treats, but the staff made us feel very unwelcome - in particular one person who was visibly annoyed that she had to stop her paperwork to help us. We'll be making many return visits to Banner Elk, but not to this shop.

This pet store goes above and beyond to help their customers. I had a brand new puppy and they helped me find everything that she needed. They are more than just a pet store, they are a staple to our community and they sincerely care about our pets and their two-legged owners ????

Such a great little shop in a cute little town. Loved seeing the owners pups around the store as well. Very friendly & welcoming. There are so many options for food, treats, and toys. The owner is so personal and holds great conversation. We will always make a stop when in Banner Elk!

The store was well stocked and lots of items. The sales people who worked there were very nice. Unfortunately, the old lady who worked there which I assume was the owner was rude, not at all helpful, and disrespectful to customers. She needs to learn what customer service is and how to treat others with kindness and respect. I refuse to patronize any establishment when the owner show a lack of common courtesy to their customers. If you want to be treated poorly, like a dog, this the the place for you.

This place has it all. Staff is very knowledgeable. The hemp sticks saved my dog on the 4th of July. I was going to order some online,but found them here. Grade A pet food ect.I highly recommend this store.
