My Bearded Collie, Merlin was only 6 months old when Dr. Crouch preformed surgery on him for bi-lateral elbow dysplasia. That surgery has allowed Merlin to live a very active, pain free life. He just turned 14 last July but still trots across the yard with no signs of a limp! So, thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Crouch for giving me a wonderful 14+ years with this wonderful, funny, boy!!!

Dr. Crouch and his staff are incredibly compassionate and utilize the most advanced medical treatments. It was recommended that we euthanize our 1 year old pup due to a leg injury and because of Dr. Crouch, there is hope for Frankie. It only takes one great vet to change the course of a pet's life and Dr. Crouch did that for us. Thank you!!

This is an excellent surgical practice. They're highly organized, good with their communications, excellently at what they do (speciality in orthopedic surgeries, especially TPLO surgeries which is what our dog went here for.) And they really do care about their patients, and go out of their way to be available for follow up and aftercare.

My chocolate lab needed a TPLO after tearing his CCL. I was referred to Dr. Crouch and his team and was not disappointed. I felt fully informed throughout the whole process and supported afterwards whenever I needed them. Maximus is healing well from his surgery in November and all owed to the skilled team at WCVS. I very highly recommend choosing then if your dog needs a TPLO or related surgery.

Such a pleasant experience with this team of great people. They fixed my dog!! He's still healing but he's so much better and with the recommendations for after care, he looks great and no complications. Thank you for treating my pup with so much love.

My 130 lb dog, Scout needed TPLO surgery on his knee. The entire team there was so helpful. Only complaint is they are booked at least a month out.

Dr. Crouch came highly recommended by a few vets here in Asheville. He is an amazing and very informative surgeon. Our furry baby had surgery 3 yrs ago and is doing extremely well. Luna is chasing her furry sisters and enjoying her ability to run and jump. Just recently we took our second furry baby Madison to have surgery for a torn ACL and we expect she will be doing just fine. His staff teamwork and effort is top notch.

Dr. Crouch and his team are fantastic. Our dog had to eventually have surgery on both knees and Dr. Crouch was able to answer any and all questions and concerns that we had. The after hours team was available for concerns and questions as well, even on the weekends!

Our 80 lb Aussie, Riley required TPLO surgery during this Covid pandemic and we just couldn’t put it off any longer. Our local vet in Cherokee NC referred us to WCVS and Dr David Crouch. Except for the hour plus drive over to Asheville several times, the whole experience went exceptionally well. Consultation, Overnight stay for surgery and a couple follow up visits and Riley is doing great. The staff was professional, responsive, friendly and very thorough. Dr Crouch did a fantastic job explaining everything and preformed a first class procedure. We are so pleased that Riley will now have a new lease on life without pain. Many thanks with a grateful heart!

What can I say about Dr Crouch that hasn't already been said? He is an awesome surgeon and even a better person. His entire staff and facility is top tier. If there is a better place that provides care to animals, you'd have to show me and prove it, because I don't think it's possible. Thank you all for providing Gracie with her mobility back. She is happy again. Mark

The team at Western Carolina Veterinary Surgery are nothing less than Angels. The professionalism and compassion they show towards their patients and the humans that love them is truly amazing. Dr. Crouch is an absolute miracle worker. When I first walked through their door my puppy was a physical mess and I an emotional one. They sat on the floor with us and took the time to comfort us both before Dr. Crouch worked his surgical miracles.

Friendly and helpful! Great with our dog. Suggested some supplements rather than surgery.

Dr. Crouch and his team is amazing. They sincerely care about the welfare of your pet. He had treated my dog successfully without surgery where three other Specialty Veterinarians only wanted to do surgery. My boy was healed without surgery following Dr Crouchs protocol. Then on vacation this week my boy was hurt and Dr Crouch rearranged his schedule to take care of my boy. Truly amazing. You won’t find a Vet like him anywhere else. Elizabeth Fletcher and Keeper

Dr. Crouch was recommended to us as "the best" when our dog required surgery for a CCL injury. This is a complex surgery and recovery and he clearly knows what he's doing. We always felt like our dog was in great hands and she is recovering well. The staff at WCVS are truly amazing. They were always there to answer questions and provide support -- before, during and after the surgery -- as well as during the recovery process. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and all the help they have given us throughout this process. Thank you Dr. Crouch and everyone at WCVS!

My vet reffered me to this place when my little Pom had to have surgery for a fracture, his injury had to have immediate attention, I called this place and they scheduled Zeus into surgery the very next day!!! Dr. Crouch and his staff were very caring for Zeus. Zeus has recovered fully FAST! Now he’s back to normal just like nothing had ever happened!
