Dr Bolt & the staff have given my rabbit exceptional care. They are compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable & cautious, as well as skilled! Staff are always happy to answer all my questions, give advice, and they really make sure you understand you & your pet's options. I would never take my bunnies anywhere else in the area. They can also utilize technology like surgical lasers, which cause less trauma & damage during procedures so that healing is less fraught - super important for small animals and exotics!

I needed an exotic vet for my dwarf hamsters and Dr. Bolt's office was the only one I could find in the area. I'm glad I found him as he turned out to be a very caring individual and a wonderful vet! His office staff are just as caring! They try to accommodate any need that arises and if it's something they can't do they will figure out who can!

These folks are amazing. After calling over a dozen rehabilitators from the Wildlife Commission site, someone finally answered and recommended this veterinarian practice for a wild bird with an injured wing. They answered on the first ring and offered assistance immediately. Was able to bring the bird to them right before closing on a holiday weekend. Very kind and generous people work here and are doing incredible work, thank you so much again!

Dr. Bolt and his staff have been our regular family vet for years. They've always been responsive and managed to fit us in for emergencies, even going as far as coming in multiple times overnight to visit/check on pets in distress.

I have been there with my macaw, he is very good.

My pet was very sick and had to go to the rainbow bridge..they were very kind and understanding..would recommend them to everyone

Drove an hour and a half to come here and it was worth it! They treated my 6 week old chicken and were very kind, informative, and answered all my questions! Would recommend to anyone who needs a doctor for backyard chickens.

Really did a good job on trimming pet guinea pigs nails. It helped that they were aware that Brownie was very scared so if you need a place that’s going to make sure that your pets are okay and taking care considering some nervousness they may feel about being around strangers this is the place for you. After you make an appointment once you get their you call them from the parking lot and they take your pet in. This place makes social distancing very easy

Dr lee was very kind and honest about treating my Muscovy Duck Tom. Even though she was put to sleep. Sweeten creek has been the only actual vet that does see and treat ducks in this area. i drove from johnson city Tn to Asheville. please investigate vets in your home area to make sure they have a degree in medicine and surgery for avian.

My regular vet had to close due to a Covid exposure and my puppy needed suture removal after an emergency surgery over the holidays. Sweeten Creek Animal hospital was able to work me in same day and we were in and out within an hour including paperwork, suture removal, a new Rx, and payment. Price was very reasonable! I've been taking my small parrots and now my dog to see Dr. Bolt for over 12 years. Both he and staff are helpful and calming when our babies are sick. I can't imagine going any where else.
