Been going here for years and never had a bad experience

Excellent! What impressed us was all of the dogs seemed very happy. The staff is amazing. We were very happy with everything and really liked the ties our boys were wearing.

We made appointment with Michelle to groom our puppy. We had to wait a month for the appointment. I drop off our puppy at 8am, a few minutes later I got a text saying Michelle was to busy to groom our puppy and another groomer would have to groom him if we wanted him groomed. We reminded them we had made the appointment over a month ago with Michelle. Our puppy was the first dog dropped off, and it was after 3pm before he was ready to be picked up. Long story short, we had to take our puppy to another groomer the next day to get his sanitary cut done right. Hair of the dog charges top dollar, and their grooming and customer service, leaves a lot to be desired.

Looking for a new daycare or groomer for your dog? This is the place! When I adopted my pup at 1.5 years old, he was unsocialized and extremely timid. The staff at HOTD toon my pup in like one of their own and helped him feel comfortable and learn how to play with other dogs. They were patience, caring, and understanding of all his needs. Their love for him is truly unmatched. His groomer, Brooke, is my saving grace! My pup hates any kind of eater and especially hates baths. She is patience and kinda with him and all his quirkiness! He hits in the bath for her like I have never seen. She takes of his needs (like additional ear cleanings) with no questions asked. Hair of the Dog has been such a positive impact on not only my dog but my family. I am so happy I found this place who treats my dog like fmsilt. He loves him and they love him! Best place ever!! Just look how happy my pup is around all his pup and human friends.

Awful experience for my puppy first hair cut . Had to return him 3 times . The last time the manager told me she didn’t see anything wrong with us cut . If you enlarge picture you can see the great job that they did . My dog on the 3rd time was scared to death and did not want to go throw gate . I then requested a partial payment and I would take him somewhere else. Then the manager or owner I not sure what she was told me I wasn’t getting anything back and to get off her property . I can’t imagine a professional person acting like this . Her reviews might be good but her attitude dealing with conflict is horrible.

They do terrible work! They even hurt the dog! They are very rude, mean and unprofessional!!

They did a great job grooming my dog. Really nice people who carefully listened to my request for a special cut. Very reasonable price too.

Top notch! Salem & her staff are truly caring& spoiled my German Shepherd Hudson while I was on an emergency trip for 10 days. They relieved my stress & pressure I was already under & even sent pictures of her playing & sleeping WITH A STAFF member! She was bathed, nails cut,etc for a nominal . Came home a happy dog & happy Mom .thanks

Great place for grooming and doggie daycare

We've gone to Michelle's* groomering locations for all four dogs since we moved here. But recently with our two current dogs. Things seem off. The trimming is inconsistent. I request grinded nails and they come home only clipped. They say the dogs do great, but the younger one is always super stressed when I get her. We have spoke about morr calming methods to bring her into the environment, but I am not confident with groomers to bring them back yet. Idk where the miscommunication is. Edit in response to Owner: I tried posting the review before but I had some technological issues, I was also hesitant to make it. Our dogs well-being has always been in good hands with you. It's was the details that seemed to be difficult to communicate. I would love to be able to schedule with/around your availability. At that time I would also like to talk about their reactions to the experiences and the older dogs newer health concerns.

We had been looking for an affordable place to bring our dog when we were out of town on vacation. I love that the dogs are not kept in cages and have the ability to go outside any time they like through a doggy door, even in the middle of the night. Staff stays on site, 24/7. Nice staff. Affordable. Dog grooming was done before I picked up my dog. Super convenient. Thanks!

They did so good with my Zuko! He went in so nervous but came out with some new besties! Will definitely be back!

I have a frenchie and a large sized mutt. My large mutt never really liked getting baths to start with, and after a bad experience at a different groomer in town it was nearly impossible to get him bathed. Our yard practically turns to a mud hole when we try to do it at home so that defeated the purpose entirely. I was almost ready to accept my beloved mutt would be stinky forever. Then my sister suggested I bring him in, and it's some of the best advice she ever gave me. I was skeptical at first. Initially he was a bit skittish of getting in the tub, but he did great after that and they had him done in no time without any problems! I think he'll be excited to go back again, next time probably with our frenchie.

They did a great job on my baby and he loved not being but in a crate. I recommend.

Our Tux goes to daycare here every weekday and we couldn’t be happier with the facility and staff. We love the groomings he gets here as well. They really love and take care of all the babies in their care!

I have been taking my dog there for many years. She loves to play with the other dogs while she is waiting to be groomed. Michelle, Jonnell and the rest of the groomers are very caring. They are Great.

I have a sweet pointer mix dog who is about 4 years old. She will not let me even touch her nails and they were getting so long and in dire need of a trim. I took her to Hair of the Dog and she was taken care of by a group of very caring and compassionate ladies. I am so grateful for the service we received today and well will definitely be back. Thank you so much for helping us out.

Charge $65 for a tiny 7 pound yorkie. Nails always end up still sharp and facial hair cut to the minimum. Try PetSmart for $45-50, Renee’s Clip-N-Dip for $45, or TLC Groomers for $44. Good service though!

Wonderful people! Our rescue Poochie, Lola, is an energetic handful. Johnal Is so patient with her, and she always looks beautiful after her hair is cut and groomed. The cage free environment is a blessing, and allows the dogs to relax.

Absolutely loved what Michelle did for my little baby!!! I have a miniature poodle who has a really difficult time getting groomed because he gets nervous and Michelle was able to successfully and beautifully groom him! Totally recommend her and Hair of the Dog! Great place, great groomer and great energy!!!

Perfect cut for Shih Tzu dog that was walking and her fur it was so long. They did an excellent job. Again today got another perfect groom for my Snuggles. 3/29/2019
