Animal Hospital South Asheville, Tennessee

I had a wonderful experience and could not recommend this animal hospital enough. Our cat was unwell. They took him in very quickly, the staff was here for us, reassuring and friendly, while doctors took great care of our Bucky. He ended up staying over night and got back home in the morning. Very professional, caring and affordable hospital. You cannot go wrong with them.

I take my cat here for an annual checkup and have had the best experience with the group here. The facility is spectacular and my kitty has had excellent dental results. I also like the front office staff.

WARNING: The owner has given notice to terminate to two outstanding vets on staff. Rumors indicate the owner is preparing to sell the practice and wants to show higher profitability in order to get a higher sales price. Personally, I like the vets very much, but did not appreciate the 300% markup on many medications. Despite the owner’s statement to the contrary, vets are being let go. The mood at Animal Hospital South is not good and I’m changing vets asap.

This place is the definition of caring, compassionate and responsive. I took our dog there yesterday in an emergency, and without hesitation, despite not being a "current client", they took exemplary care of him, and literally saved his life. I am forever grateful to all of the staff here. As is George the Foster Pitt bull!!!

They helped us with end of life care for our 17yo chihuahua. The Dr and his team were very thoughtful and accommodating the whole time. They take great care of our other pups.

This animal hospital made time to see my dog last minute when we had a bit of an emergency while on vacation in the Asheville area. Everyone we spoke with was really nice, and I appreciated that they took the time to speak with us personally about our dog's health. I would highly recommend this animal hospital!

Wonderful vet who truly cares for your pets. Dr. Valeika has treated anything from heartworms to minor injuries, even help with the passing of our pets. The vets, reception, and vet techs are all stellar at what they do. Thanks for being awesome and compassionate over the years!

I took my cat there because she was not acting herself. They gave her good care. She ended up at an emergency hospital (due to kidney disease,,,which in turn was kidney failure). Animal hospital south gave her GREAT care! They are really loving & caring! After having to put our precious Callie to sleep, Animal Hospital South sent us a sympathy card! I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE to take their "fur babies" there for animal care!

Wasn't even a patient here & noticed my dog developed a bump on her leg. We called & they immediately took her in. Super friendly staff. Was shocked how well they took us in without even being a patient. We could tell that they really cared for my dog. Highly recommend this vet

We came to this animal hospital for two neck to back pet emergencies. I was very impressed with how they were able to fit us in and the care they provided to our pets. We were always seen on time and with timely (but not rushed) attention. Highly recommend.

Have been bring my Dog here since we adopted her, Animal Hospital South was one of the recommended places by the Shelter. They have always gone above and beyond for both my Dog and I. Wonderful place who truly care about animals.

They where the only vet that would help us at 10 a.m.!!!!! They took very good of Bailey our boerbel mastive, and worked with our budget!!!!! And the did very nice stiches!!!!
