This is a very kind and caring group of people. They love my dog and she is happy to go there!

Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Wilfert took her time to discuss any questions. She personally called me after appointment with lab results. Assistant brought me estimated costs before any procedures, which was a first for my many years of veterinary experiences. Very professional staff.

My older cat "No. 2", needed a mass removal of skin cancer from his neck/shoulder area and beneath an arm. They got me right in once I had called. He was in surgery, and they called me right after to let me know he was fine and should be able to go home in a few hours. I so relieved they had called me. Very professional and very nice staff. His stitches are looking great, no redness. He acts like the stitches don't even bother him, which is great, because of the dreaded cone! I am very impressed with Haywood Animal Hospital. I already told some cat friends about them....

I was so excited to find a new vet, but the treatment was terrible. My dog (10 yrs old) was scheduled to have a couple of masses removed and teeth extraction and after the visit I discovered another growth that they did not know about. The tech who was very nice and professional had forgotten to tell the Dr. Schumake about the mass during the initial physical so I told the vet about it. I wanted to tell Dr. Schumake about the new growth before the scheduled surgery the next day but she was far too busy and I only needed a minute. I asked one of the staff if I could have one minute of her time the morning before she goes in to surgery, but they said that wasn't possible. I just wanted to be a 100% sure that she would get the information correctly. The practice manager then called to argue with me for 20 minutes to tell me that I only needed to tell her. I just asked for a minute.

I have been using Haywood Animal Hospital for quite a few years now, and I couldn't be more happy with the service and love they show my pets. I believe a short time ago new personal took over the business and it seems the new staff are compassionate, caring and extremely knowledgeable in all they do. I had the pleasure and luck to have Dr. Patricia Wilfert care my my dog, along with technician Alex, who both took wonderful care of my dog and myself. They are extremely caring and will treat you and your pet , like family. I can't say enough on how caring they were. And Jessica, who I believe is the senior office manager, was equally personable and caring and made sure all my questions, concerns and charges were fully explained to me. A wonderful experience from start to finish. If you want the best care for your pets and yourself, this is the Veterinary Hospital to use. You will not be disappointed.........Tommy Loreto

Brought my cat as a new patient exam. They were very professional and after her exam the vet called me to go over her results and treatment plan. I'm pleased with the care given and have found us a new place for her future care.

Awesome place for veterinary care, took my dog with fear aggression & they welcomed him with open arms & worked with us to ensure it was a great visit for my boy! Love this place!

I took my young cat Prissy to Haywood Animal Hospital for her vaccinations and a check up. They were great and answered any questions I had. I will take her there when I have her spayed.

Haywood Animal Hospital has cared for our pets for over 30 years. Our long time vet retired a few years ago, and we are still getting to know the new staff. But so far, they have been very caring and responsive, gentle with our animals, and really listen to our concerns and observations.

Very loving and caring!! Had just adopted my doggie and took him there made me feel very comfortable and very accommodating to help show me how to take care of him!! He loved them as well and his treat!! Thank you!

We went through a difficult time of learning just how sick our dog was. However, the pros at Haywood Animal Hospital were with us every step of the way. They were compassionate, keeping our pet comfortable while using all their available tools to determine a diagnosis. They were responsive getting us in to see the specialist same day the need was realized. We now have a young pup and knew we wanted Haywood to be our “Go To” Vet. They were very informative with their puppy checks and advice. No doubt the Haywood is top notch in all aspects of our needs!!

My mischievous Siamese, Gomez, tore one of his claws and was in pain last night. I recently moved to the area and hadn’t found a vet yet. I called around to a few different places and was told they weren’t taking new clients. After a recommendation from a Facebook group I called Haywood Veterinary and they understood the pressing situation and got us in within the hour. Everyone I talked to was kind and knowledgeable and I enjoyed talking to the vet as well. The removed the claw for Gomez with care and gave him an antibiotic shot. He is already feeling much better and I look forward to working with Haywood Vet in the future, but hopefully just for checkups!

Samantha was phenomenal at helping me get my kitten, Cali, spayed and vaccinated. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, and very sweet with my cat. 10/10 customer service and such a beautiful atmosphere.

I liked that they came out to the car to get my pet. Each person that spent time with my cat called me to let me know everything that was taking place. I loved their recommendations for my cat's food and emailed me a site that provides free delivery and coupons to save me money. I felt like I was dealing with people that really care about my cat and me.

With the virus scare everywhere this is where you don't need to worry. A tech comes to your vehicle (gloved and masked) checks to make sure all your information is correct and then once your pet is examined the doctor calls you. When visit is complete a tech calls you. You pay over the phone and then your pet is brought back to your car. Thank goodness something was finally safe and easy!
