Fast, friendly clinic. Patient with my very grumpy cat & thoroughly explained everything to me. Very upfront about pricing as well.

I brought my cat Nova in for an appointment and Dr. Carr was amazing!! He explained the surgery to me, had a great sense of humor, and was very caring towards my fur baby!! I will definitely be coming back to get amazing service from this clinic!!

We were putting our dog down and the lady at the front desk decided to tell us that only 3 people could be in the room we asked if they could atleast have the 4 kids(that grew up with her) and one parent she started to say no and had no compassion until all of us started asking for her to let us squeeze in after 5 min of arguing she finally let us but had the worst attitude about it and continued to give us dirty looks when the others were saying goodbye this is the worst experience I have ever had at any vet I don't recommend this place as long as that lady works there

I called to see about an issue my dog is having, as they've been our vet for years. I was asked if I could be put on hold immediately. Not ideal, but sure. I'm on hold for five minutes or so. Nobody ever comes back to the line, except once where it's immediately put back on hold with no word. Eventually, it goes to the answering machine. I leave a detailed message about my concern. Never get a call back. Completely unacceptable. I've slowly been liking this place less and less as time goes on, and I guess it's time to go somewhere where they actually care about us.

I have been coming to this clinic for years and have always been a happy customer.....this is clearly because I've never "had the pleasure" of meeting Dr. Carr. The OTHER vet is fantastic and so compassionate, however, I can't stand the thought of ever going there again! In one of the most difficult situations (putting my beloved pet to rest) Dr. Carr (the owner) was SO condescending, rude, and completely heartless! I'm still in shock the way I was treated by him!  He continued to interrupt me and tried to rush the process. As soon as he walked in the room he questioned my decision to be in the room while my pet was put to sleep and also the fact that I wanted to take him with me afterwards. He literally asked where I was parked because he said "we don't like to have dead animals walked through the lobby".  He was telling me "you need to sit down" (while he was sedating my pet). I couldn't wait to get out of there and away from him. One of the WORST experiences of my entire life! I've read other comments on here and it sounds like this is quite typical behavior for him! I hope my honest review prevents anyone else from experiencing the heartache I felt during my dog's last moments. STAY AWAY!!!!

I took my 8 year old cat in because he began peeing on the wall. This is a behavior he has NEVER had. I was concerned about it being a urinary infection, as this is common in cats of this age. She, the vet, said he was fine, but didn’t bother doing an urinalysis. Even though I told her this was not like him. Fast forward, a month and a half later, he had blood in his urine. I had to take him to the emergency vet, to find out his little bladder was full of crystals. I never had problems there before with Dr. Carr when they were on Marion Rd. And have been going there for years. I will Never go there again.

Dr. Carr and the entire staff were a pleasure. We are new to the area and had an unexpected need for an urgent visit. It went so well that this will be our new Vet going forward.

Great place to take your pets. They've taken excellent care of 2 of my dogs. I trust them. My dogs trust them. They are also very reasonable with their rates.

I have been taking my dog there for 4 years now. He loves the staff and is actually excited to go! I can't say enough about all of the staff. They are all very nice and caring.

Love this vet always great to my 3 cats!

I was not impressed with the vet we saw. In order to describe my dogs symptoms, i had to interrupt him. My dog has severe anxiety attacks, which it was obvious this vet didn't believe in, because his response was," Everybody wants to put their dog on Prozac." I do NOT want my dog on Prozac, i want to kmow the reason he's acting the way he is. Things i said were misconstrued. He took my dog to the back to examine him, instead of in the exam room, and when he was returned, the vet had the leash so tight that my dog was practically on his back legs. The vet described how he "bent his back and neck and prodded his stomach" and that my dog, after a 2minute exam was diagnosed with an ear infection. He "didnt have any pain". He must have missed the luxating patellas. All in all, i was not satisfied. We visited the clinic about a year ago, and saw a really nice lady vet. I was hoping that's who we would see. We will NOT be back.

Recently started going here and I’m glad I did. Everyone is kind and down to earth. Reasonable prices as well. Already have recommended it to other friends in the area.

They are fantastic, caring staff. They are very good listening to you about what's happening with your pet and explaining all the different options available.

Great staff, down to earth Vets, affordable.

Dr. Plagman and all the staff are excellent and made my pup feel welcomed and loved. They were extremely efficient as well and we were in and out in 15 minutes for minor ear issue, including the diagnosis/lab time! Price was more than reasonable. Absolutely will not hesitate to go back if necessary.

This is the Best vet in my opinion! They actually care about the animals instead of the money. They give you and honest opinion of what's going on, or what you should do to help your pet, instead of just trying to rack up a bill.

Recently adopted a 2nd dog and decided to try a clinic on the West side of town. It was a bad idea. I’m sure the clinic itself provides quality care but Dr. Carr himself was condescending, dismissive, and quite literally almost rude. He would interrupt and hold up his hand in the middle of trying to ask some questions and just didn’t listen to our concerns. It was very frustrating and disappointing. Most definitely will not continue our vet care with Dr. Carr.
