I was looking to buy 2 small parakeets, and the lady that helped us insisted we should get a way bigger cage when they're already too piled up on store, cage was too big for just 2. She would only let us buy one unless we didnt go by her reccomendations. We've owned parakeets before and they we're just fine on the cage we we're trying to buy. The cage she wanted us to get was for more than 2. Apparently you have to buy what they want you to buy or they keep trying to deny your choice and won't let you go for it. Not a very friendly or welcoming place. I was looking for parakeets, not reccomendations.

Friendly staff. Had a small weight but they post very short on staff.

Don’t ever go there if you want to get your child a hamster for Christmas and you already own a snake. My husband and I went in to get my daughter a hamster for Christmas and then we asked about mice for his snake. The lady assumed that we were going to feed the hamster to the snake! It’s so rude that she said she was going to call the other pet store and tell them not to sell to us because we going to feed it to the snake! We weren’t going to! So disappointed in this store! Every single time we come to this store we get attitude or have a problem of some sort! Never ever shopping there again!

I have been taking our family Labrador here for a handful of years now and although the grooming staff changes over the years, the service is always great. I recommend the de-shed bath plus which comes with other services such as nails, teeth brushing, and paw balm plus a holiday bandana for $65. We typically do this 2-3x per year especially around the holidays. Your dog will come out less hairy, smelling fresh, and looking fluffy and snuggly. Just be sure you have up-to-date vaccine records for the staff to log. Grooming takes 1-1.5 hours total which is perfect as it allows me to run other errands while in town :)

Suzette was just amazing! I took my kids to the store to look at the animals. Not only did Suzette answer every question we had, but she gave the most excellent service I’ve ever received at a pet store. Thank you for your love of animals and dedication to service. I was so impressed with her! She made our evening and we are now going to be shoppers at this store always!

Peto has been shady about apointments lately. They have been making any excuses to cancel my appointments for no reason. I have finally give up in trying to take him here.

Always friendly. Lots of clutter in store. Slim fish selection. Often unhealthy tanks.

I took my 10 year old loves everybody multipoo to this location. It is probably the oldest dog grooming salon I have ever seen, has a whopping two tables and it’s showing the kennels that they keep the animals in. I nearly canceled my appointment on the spot. Then when I come to pick her up I was informed she was biting the groomer and biting at clippers! Guess what you know what that means? You’re being way too hard and fast to an old dog that you’re scaring!Never has this ever been an issue, She loves everybody! Will not be returning…and that’s truly unfortunate because the groomer actually did a nice job. Update-I’m starting to love doing updates. To petcos credit someone did call me in order to discuss this. Unfortunately it was smack dab in the middle of dinner time with the family and I explained I couldn’t speak but would be more than happy to anytime the next 2 days. They assured me they wanted to discuss this and would calm back in the next 2 days. Well it’s been 3 days now. Never heard anything back and no missed calls. Seriously F-.

Close to my home so I have to use them. Their insect food is bad, works half dead in the container. Dead animals in the cages and tanks. They need to tighten up!

It's a pet store but it feels like a lot of it is dedicated towards dog toys and collars. Went to get collars for my cats and had a very very limited selection which was disappointing :/

Friendly, helpful staff. I had found a sale ad online offering our preferred Guinea pig food on sale for an incredible price (reg $14.99, sale for $6.85.I found it in store, but when it was rang up, it still showed the regular price. I showed them the ad with my phone & the sale price was honored. (**I think I got lucky for knowing about the sale ad, but it's unfortunate that they don't update the price change for everyone, & not just those who price check online) I also scored some terrific dog toys from in the clearance bins, all for $4 or less apiece. Of course, the rewards help to rack on the savings as well!

I go to Petco for all my animals' needs. I have a rabbit, a cat, and a dog. It has a great variety and I love the Petco Rewards. The seasonal toys are one of our favorites for sure.
