My friend and I took her 14-year-old lab mix in to get help for his pain because he had large tumors around his bottom that kept breaking open causing bleeding. The vet did not do much to help. I believe that he needed to be put to sleep but instead the vet refused wanting more money to do surgery. Along with telling us that the tumors could just come back. My friend wasted money here and she didn't hardly have any in the first place. Her dog has been in severe pain and they would do nothing to help very displeased and upset at this veterinarian. To make any dog stuff for like that is horrible.

I used to take my dogs to this vet when I lived in Sioux City. I moved to a different city so I switched to a vet that was closer. My 12 week old puppy got a really bad swollen face (mouth and eyes were swollen shut). My vet would not answer so I called Family Pet at Morningside because I was obviously freaking out and scared my puppy was going to die if I didn’t find out what to do. I called and the person working the emergency line told me they COULD NOT help me because my dog was no longer a patient. I was obviously willing to pay any type of fee if I needed to bring my puppy in and they would not even talk to me over the phone. When I asked if they had any suggestions of anywhere else I could call she told me no. I could not believe they just turned a 12 week old puppy away like that with no regard for her life. I told them our vet would not answer and was pleading to talk to someone and she still said no. Before I would have recommended this place to others in Sioux City but now I will tell everyone I can to steer away from them. I am so upset and disappointed.

Fast appointments and reasonable vaccinations. The veterinarian didn't have the friendliest bedside manner but everyone else was very nice.
