I have taken my animals here for years with amazing experience, but this time I thought I would go somewhere else because it was more convenient as I now live farther away. Never again! Someone referred us to this place as we were new in town. The staff is super friendly and the wait is never long. They have been operating during covid and still running the business exceptionally well. We appreciate all that you do for our pets and appreciate that you've stayed open to see our pets. Called in because my dog was sick with uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea wanted to get her looked at immediately, got told the soonest I could get her in was in a week, took my business elsewhere and haven't come back since, would not recommend going here for urgent care

We've always had good experiences with this vet. She has given our pets good care, and last time we were in with our dog, she went above and beyond to help him and address our concerns. Highly recommended!

With the stress of COVID they are doing amazing. They are down a tech at the moment, so I left a message, and the doctor got back with me quickly. They have the best prices which is super helpful with the struggles of how covid has affected my family. I took my babygirl Hazel in last week to get spayed and once I got there I felt an immediate sense of relief. It was clean, professional and the prices you cannot beat here in the city!! The Doc & 2 ladies at the front were extremely kind, genuine and helpful! Just hearing their voices made me believe that they actually CARE about animals unlike a lot of places here that rush you in and out. I was so afraid for my dog (from experiences with other vets here) but West Winds made this spay breeze by and I felt at ease knowing my girl Hazel would be okay. She’s doing great and has been healing fast! They are definitely my top Vet clinic in Rapid City. I will continue to go back to them from now on!

My mom has been taking our pets to west winds for years. They are very inexpensive and thorough. I always recommend west winds when asked for vet suggestions!
