The team at Sunset Animal Clinic is amazing.

We will not take her cats anywhere else and they are wonderful with animals. They're really, really good with birds. Wonderful caring staff. Great for wellness check-ups or emergency visits. Don't ask to buy the "Crazy cat lady" action figure though, because it's just a decoration.

We have taken our pets to Sunset for almost 15 years and we love them. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate.

My one dog had a emergency. My regular vet was too busy to see her even though I been with them over 3 yrs they refused to see her. I called sunset and no problem. Bring her right in. Took care of the problem and was alot less expensive than I thought. Thank you Sunset. You now have my business. 3dogs,5 cats.

The vet who saw my African Grey parrot was kind, professional and thorough. We appreciated everything she and her staff did. . Avian medicine is a very special field and we are fortunate to have this group here in Columbia.

I took my sneezing Cinnabutton rabbit to you 3 times and yoo said you could do nothing for her. I finally found a rabbit vet in Elgin, SC. She has now stopped sneezing with the right meds. Bactrim and Meloxidy.

My 1st time there with my bearded dragon. Dr. Ogburn was great! She must have been in the exam room 3 or 4 times and took her time explaining my bearded dragons illness each and every time. I am very glad I met her.

The vets and techs / assistants are awesome. I would absolutely recommend for that - my issue is with the woman who answers the phones. Lacks compassion and professionalism entirely. I had an emergency yesterday and was bawling my eyes out and I’ve never spoken with someone so apathetic- she did send my message to the doctor who called me back - which I appreciated, but she herself wasn’t very kind. Not the first time I’ve had issues with her attitude either. It’s very discouraging for patients when the first person they see & speak to acts that way. Especially people who are already emotional and nervous.

Best pet care anywhere. Excellent staff and doctors. Definitely recommend.

I have voted this to be the best animal clinic in South Carolina. These doctors and staff really do love and care for you and your loved paw ones. I've been with this clinic and doctors for at least 25 years you can't get better, I promise you. If I was too move I would travel back to sunset, I trust no other Group with my babies and I have had skunks, ferrets, dogs, cats, snake, bird, rabbit and a sugar glider. So please believe me when I say they are rock stars in their field, they're honest and sometimes hard but honest

Bringing my fearful and reactive dog to the vet is always an anxious experience for both of us. The staff at Sunset were so patient and understanding, even offering to allow me to come in with my dog despite COVID policy saying I should wait in the car. Dr Huse is certified fear free, and made sure that my fearful guy felt as comfortable as possible, taking the time make it as positive of an experience as possible, which is hard with a fearful dog!

I am floored at the lack of professionalism from Sunset Animal Clinic. I had an appointment this morning the 2 at 9:30 and I live in Northeast Columbia. I pulled up and they had a sign saying that they were closing for the 1-7. Really? I understand having to close but seriously? Be professional enough to call the people who had appointments and let them know what is going on so they can reschedule. No consideration whatsoever! Heading to Cornerstone where they actually treat you with professionalism and consideration.

We have loved the knowledge and calm smiling faces at Sunset! Dr. Foy and Dr. Brown taught us so much and loved our fur babies!

They were the best in Columbia, I literally visited every vet in Columbia in one morning and finally ened up at Sunset, they said they could help me and my best friend.

I have used this Clinic for 30+ years, ever since we settled in Columbia, SC. Over the years we have had 3 dogs and 5 cats. I highly recommend them, all 5 docs, and staff!

I have used sunset for all my animals, small animals, dogs, cats, and reptiles. I love all the vets and the receptionists and vet techs. Always have had a good experience with them. They listen to my worries about my animals, if I have any, and give insightful and educational answers. Been coming here for 11 years now and super grateful for all they’ve done for my babies.

We live in Bythewood area. And we had our German Shepard riding in our truck and she decided to take a jump out. She caught her chin and neck really bad. No vet in the Bythewood area would see her. So this vet was recommended to us. They seen her right away and operated on her and took excellent care of her. Would most definitely recommend this office to all pet lovers

They see reptiles alongside other pets. I love this place, very attentive, honest, and careful with all my pets. I always recommend them!

They were very good and respectful with my snake. They knew what they were doing and even enjoyed a laugh with me about how big she was.

Picked up my ‘baby’ after having surgery. NO discharge instructions given. 3 people told me Dr. Foy would call my wife. That NEVER happened. My dog was obviously very uncomfortable, winning, pacing, panting etc. tried calling (around ‘closing time’ )numerous times only to be hung up on. Tried even messaging on Facebook, no reply. Next day ,started calling when clinic open. Phone was non stop busy. 50 minutes later, got through and Basically same thing, someone will call you back. Dr. Foy will be here in 8 minutes and someone will call. One hour later, Tried calling back x15 times…yep busy again or hung up on. I have Never had any issues with sunset animal clinic, Dr. Brown, Dr. Huse and staff (especially Chelsa)are incredible, however Dr. Foy is the issue here. “It only takes one bad apple” to write this review. According to Dr.Foy ‘something’ was wrong with phones’ perhaps he needs learn what cell phone are?! No excuses not to communicate with someone. As of writing this review, I have still have not had any contact from Dr.Foy
