THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD AT A VET! Doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional, was choking my cat because he was mad and stomping rushing us when we are trying to make a decision regarding our “fur baby” when I let him know about his attitude and behavior towards us he stated “ I got other things to do” instead of giving us a moment to discuss our decision. I have brought my dog for over 5 years here and this happened when I took a friend to what I use to think was the best vet in town is a nightmare . Not to mention this is a white man and I am a black woman but with his other client (white) I could hear him being friendly. Do not recommended.

Rude. And evil He hit my dog several times when i yelled at him to stop he told me to shut up. Stay away!!!

Have been bringing my furry babies here many years. Dr. Adcock and his staff have always taken good care of them. They have always been so kind to me too.

DO NOT USE THIS VET. Dr. Adcock does not care about animals. He dismissed my concern for our boys issue, said it would only come back so he sent me home. Did not physically examine my boy. Months later after a visit to 2nd vets office for another opinion, then the ER and a consultation with the surgeon.... he is finally getting the help and care that he SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN from Dr. Adcock. Do not take his word on anything, get a 2nd opinion if you know something isn't right with your fur baby. We listened to our gut, got him seen elsewhere and they helped us get to the right place to get our baby healthy again. Had we not paid attention to him or taken him elsewhere, he wouldn't have made it through the end of the year. So for the blessing we received today with the good news that our boy will be okay- I will give pet vac 1 star but not because of Dr. Adcock. To his staff that has come clean about the poor treatment to animals by Adcock and his lack of care for his job. To them I give 5 stars for speaking up and warning others of this man's unprofessional practices. Someone needs to investigate and revoke his license to practice!!

this is a long review, but worth the read if you care about your fur baby. No matter what, DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!! after reading the other reviews (post my visit) i’ve concluded that what i experienced seems to be the normal here. The Dr. is so rude, condescending, passive aggressive and dismissive, he has no bed side manner and obviously hates his life and job. my dachshund is terminally ill and she has a health care plan set out for her. we have a regular primary vet but due to unpredictable circumstances we had to book an appointment here for her to be seen. worst mistake. I brought in her records, the Dr enters our room with an eye roll and irritated sigh and begins questioning me about her current medicines, which are all listened on her record (obvious now he didn’t take the time to read up on his patient) long story short he concluded that she has a BRAIN TUMOR BY LOOKING AT HER. saying that is why she fell down the steps when i’m reality she tumbled down the steps because the person holding her fell down the steps. He then attempts an examination by carelessly flipping her and then pinning her by her neck aggressively. i was in such shock i’ve never in my life seen anyone handle an ill/injured animal this way. when she finally yanks her head away he labels her “aggressive”. this 16 yr old dachshund with 11 teeth and injury. He suggest that there’s nothing to done and she must be sedated and then proceeds to suggest “just give her more medicine”. He didn’t know what dosage she was taking bc like i said before he didn’t read her record. we were still charged for the visit although no exam was performed. the front desk women with red hair was kind hearted but maybe bc we caught her on a good day? in conclusion: NO MATTER THE PRICES THEY OFFER, IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL YOU WILL NOT TAKE THEM HERE.

Made appointment, when i got there with the fur babt i was told i was lying i didnt make an appointment i just discussed it with her.Dont be there on a monday morning with an appointment you will get humilliated.where she could have just admitted her mistake and we could have moved forward how rude calling me a liar over an appointment.

Great place for all your pets needs. They are very friendly & know exactly what they're doing. Everyone is very professional, especially the vet. He can answer almost every question you have about your animal. Highly recommend to everyone.

The doctors and his staff are very good and they love what they do.

This is one of the most reasonable vet offices in town, but also the most caring. Dr. Adcock nurtured my sweet dog most of her life and, when it was time, gave her a loving sendoff. I’m very grateful for this clinic and staff.

Pet Vac is awful. We’ve been taking our dog for several years and they told us there was nothing he could do for his issue and waved us off for several years. But we took him to Van Crest and had medicine & explanations within 24 hours. This doctor has no idea what he’s talking about, he will ignore your concerns & talk over you, and has given our dog no quality of life for the last several years, and has done the same with my grandmothers dog. He got several thousand dollars for tests and failed to figure out the problem and ultimately led to the death of her dog. Do NOT bring your fur babies here!!

Dr. Adcock and his staff have been taking care of my Rascal since day 1. He is now 14 yrs old. I am and have always been so thankful for him and his staff. They are all compassionate and just wonderful !! I lived in the mountains for 5 years and never once changed Vets and Rascal always had his physicals etc. on time with Dr Adcock

I was very desperate in trying to find somewhere that accepted new clients quickly and also had reasonable prices. The staff was kind and lovely to by sweet girls. But I told them before entering, one of my girls was terrified of other big dogs and will attempt to be aggressive if approached by one. I also stated she cannot wear a muzzle because she will physically hurt herself trying to get it off. They told me they understood, but still tried to muzzle her and left the room door wide open while other dogs were running freely though the back. This angered me because it put my dog and also other dogs at risk. They were not careful nor did they seem to care. The veterinarian here was also very rude on the visits I had with him. He talked to my like I was a uneducated child that knew nothing about my animals, and scorned me as if I did not know how to take care of my animals. I definitely do not recommend to anyone, even if they are desperate.

Some of the staff are nice and then some aren’t. I know that sometimes we all have bad days but that isn’t an excuse to treat your customers rudely. Especially the woman at the front desk, rude rude rude. Completely unprofessional.

Went in with a very sick doggie, they saw me right away. Very nice staff. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, couldn't pursue hospital treatments. I was a little disappointed that, after hearing I wasn't seeking the treatment there, the vet wouldn't offer any further help/advise or prescribe any meds to help me with my dog. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I lost my Maggie Mae, "Maggs" last night. But I'm not going to comment anymore, for fear it may be out of a painful place.

Pet Vac is awesome. Little wait time, the staff is good at what they do, and everyone works together. The dr is pretty good about explaining and doesn't waste my time which I appreciate.

The dr is unprofessional and wouldn't even examine my dog but had the nerve to charge me anyways... Took her to after hrs clinic and after blood work came back excellent and a few x-rays problem was solved after $900. Would never go back there with any of my furbabies
