The best! Very professional & caring! Took my pup to 2 vets prior and they said the only way for him to survive was is we amputated his leg. Dr. Suber informed us he could fix my baby leg and he did a wonderful job. Everyone was so nice. I love the atmosphere. 10/10 recommend! Thanks to everyone! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

10/10 recommend!! Best place to take your fur baby in SC! At other animal hospitals, we were only given the option to put our baby down or amputate his leg & Dr. Suber said no way and was able to fix my baby’s broken femur! The staff cares about your fur babies just as much as you do and were very helpful and thorough with the post op care! They are affordable and will work with you. I won’t be taking my fur babies anywhere but here! Thank you all so much!

They took amazingly great care of my english bulldog, that needed bilateral ACL repairs.

Had our dog India ACL repaired there and Dr. Suber done an excellent job. India's ACL is as good as new and she's running up and down stairs like before. She's the black Labrador.

Dr Jonathan Suber runs a tight ship. Things happen like clockwork & on time. And without saying he takes good care of your babies.

We had a visit today for a surgical consult. This is an outstanding business. We were greeted promptly and escorted to a room. The doctor joined us promptly took some additional X-rays, and gave us a course of action. Extremely thorough took the time to talk with us, to answer questions. The veterinary nursing staff was outstanding. Dr Suber was conservative in the initial approach and we were in and out in a very good period of time with a follow-up visit. They're clearly knowledgeable and organized in what they're doing and how they do it. And they clearly love what they do. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Dr. Suber was absolutely amazing. My cat had a femur fracture and every vet I consulted with told me the only thing that could be done was to amputate. Dr. Suber was able to fix it with no issues and my cat is currently walking as if nothing ever happened. He and him team were awesome. If your animal is ever in need of an orthopedic procedure please consult with Dr.Suber before making any final decisions.

I cannot thank the team at Capital Animal Hospital enough for the love, effort, and support they poured into me and my dog Hokie. The staff was so kind through all three of his TPLO surgeries, there were time I called crying, called from a pet store trying to buy supplies, or just to check on Hokie while he was there. I never once was met with impatience or frustration for my worry and questions, but always patience and support. Hokie made a full recovery and I was so happy to see him walk unassisted again. Tragically, he passed away after he fully recovered and was no longer a patient. Even when I notified Dr. Suber he took the time to talk with me and express condolences and care. I will forever be appreciative to this staff for the care and love they gave to my dog.

Our dog Hokie underwent 3 TPLO procedures by Dr. Suber and we can attest that he and his staff were consummate professionals throughout the entire process. He was responsive when asked questions about Hokie’s care and provided us with the education needed to care for him throughout the process. Hokie recently passed tragically from what I believe to be mismanagement by his other medical professionals and the only one that did not fail him throughout the process was Dr. Suber and Capital Animal Hospital. If your animal needs care in the Midlands region of South Carolina they are the only ones I would trust.

Dr. Suber has performed surgery on several of our dogs and our rescues dogs. WE BELIEVE is skill, compassion and knowledge is second to none. His staff is amazing, friendly and caring. We recommend them without hesitation.

Got there a few minutes early and they took us to the waiting room right away. Had to wait on the doctor but I have waited longer on my own doctors! Called 9/8 for a copy of my dog's bloodwork, Ashley verified my email, but I still do not have it.

Our older Great Pyreneese received excellent treatment from Dr. Suber and colleagues. He recovered well despite his age and is walking better than he has for months. We are so pleased with the results and the caring, attentive service from Dr. Suber. The cost was quite reasonable too compared to friends and family in other areas whose dogs have had ACL/TPLO. Would definitely recommend!

Dr. Suber is fantastic! He is caring and attentive. Also his fees are not as high as some of the other orthopedic surgeons in the area. My pug is doing great!

Dr Suber performed surgery on my little dog. TPLO to repair a torn cruciate ligament. He and his team did a wonderful job. They are caring & professional. He'll be perfoming the same surgery on my dog's other leg once she's healed. Capital Animal Hospital is referral only and are always busy.

Our Boykin Spaniel puppy had a severe leg problem where the growth plates in his two front legs prematurely closed and were causing his legs to bow outward and not grow properly. Going without treatment would have left him severely disabled and never live a normal life. Dr. Suber was able to do a surgery to fix the bones in his legs so he could live a normal life. Ace went from not even wanting to stand up to being able to run and swim like nothing was ever wrong. Dr. Suber said he may have to have a few more surgeries to finishing fixing the bowing in his legs, but when he went in to have new x-rays done, the initial surgery had been so successful he didn’t need any more procedures. After the surgery, Dr. Suber contacted us numerous times to check in on Ace and see how he was doing with his recovery. Him and his staff took care of our boykin like he was their own. If it wasn’t for Dr. Suber, Ace would have never lived a long and healthy life. Today our pup is as happy as ever and we owe it to Capital Animal Hospital! The care they provide is unmatched!
