It’s taken a few months to be able to write this without filling up with tears. I’m August of 2021 I knew my time with my 14 year old Max was coming close to the end. I had had him my entire life since I was 7. The nurse and vet were the most compassionate people. They made me feel comfortable and educated me on my options. We decided with the education I was given that we should let him pass peacefully that day at the visit. They let me have as much time as I wanted with him. He fell asleep in my arms in our time alone. When they came back in they did not wake him. They didn’t ask me to move him. They worked around us and what made him comfortable. The last thing he knew was his mommy holding him and going to sleep on his own. The vet not only explained what was going to happen step by step with him but also explained some of the grieving process and helped me through that hard time. I couldn’t have asked for a better team in that extremely hard choice. I don’t remember their names as it was a terrible day for me but I do appreciate them and their compassion towards my beloved Max. RIP to him ???????? Thank you TR animal hospital for what you do for our community.

We have been bringing our dog here since she was 8 weeks old and when they were known as Cleveland Park Animal Hospital they were wonderful when it came to her grooming. They always did what we asked and since they have parted ways with Cleveland Park the grooming service is not the best. We've asked them the last 2 times to trim her paws and they forget until we call them out on it when we pick her up and we also have asked for a deshedding treatment and based on the photo you can see that it wasn't done at all. We brushed her right after we got her home and were able to remove this much hair from her body.

We've been going to TR Animal Hospital since they opened years ago. We are always very pleased with their expertise and the service we receive. Everyone is professional, responsive, and attentive to the needs of our cats. Jennifer McDavid has been our vet for each of our cats and I can't say enough good things about her and the rest of the staff.

Had a emergency, my lil dog was attacked by a big dog , i explained the situation they took him in , had to a surgery to get his wounds taken care of !! Awsome people !! Very caring

Our 3 1/2 month old Boston recently got scratched on his eye from our cat. His vet (not TRAH) saw him once and gave us medicine to treat it. Over the next 2 weeks it wasn’t getting better. We called our vet back towards the beginning of that week and they told us it might take a while to heal, and to give it until Monday and call back if it wasn’t better. Thanksgiving day I noticed his eye was cloudy, and there was a white spot in the middle of his cornea. I knew immediately that it was getting worse, and something was wrong. I called our vet first thing Friday morning, since they were closed on Thanksgiving, and they were close Friday too. I was worried sick about his eye!! We left a message to have someone call us back…never heard a word. I did some research and came to the conclusion that our baby had developed a corneal ulcer. I started looking immediately for a vet that might be open on a Saturday that would see him. We called TRAH as soon as they opened Saturday morning, and they saw us right away! They were very thorough with his exam, explained everything to us, and just really took their time with him! They said they felt confident that his eye was going to heal. They gave him 2 new medications, 1 they mixed up specifically for him. Then they saw him again on Tuesday for a recheck. My baby’s eye is getting better, and thank the Lord he’s not going to lose his sight. I feel very, very comfortable taking my baby to them. Dr Kelley Phillips was wonderful! My husband and I will be taking our little Archie to them from now on. Thank you for caring about our baby, and working him in to see him! Also, it’s now Wednesday, and the other vet still has yet to call about our baby.

Friendly and dedicated staff, they care for your pets like they are their own!

My pug is a member of my family and I won't trust anyone to take care of her health other than the Doctors and staff at Travelers Rest Animal Hospital ! They only provide the best care and love for your pets and they prove it time and time again .

They always take excellent care of our animals. The staff is really caring and takes a real interest in the health of our pets. They have also been very helpful the few times we have had real emergency situations and were able to fit us in as quickly as possible.

I’d like to thank Dr. Kelley Phillips and all the staff for your kindness, professionalism, and your dedication to your job, clients and patients. I’d especially like to thank you for your excellent care of Murphy during his recent dental work and bladder surgery. The entire staff at CPAH of Travelers Rest have always gone above and beyond for Murphy. When he is sick, I can’t simply ask what is wrong but I have the utmost faith and trust that Dr. Kelley will get to the bottom of it. What a huge relief it is knowing that Murph is in such capable hands. As always Drs. Bryant and Kelley Phillips, Will and Jennifer McDavid, and Dr. Given provide exceptional service, and I wouldn’t trust Murphy to another hospital. I recommend CPAH of Travelers Rest without hesitation.

My Yorkie received thorough care and gentle handling while at TRAH. Dr. Bryant took his time with us and was great about explaining the details of her exam, treatment options, and lab results. The receptionists were kind and accommodating. I am happy to have established care with them.

They where great. At taking care of my fur baby

The staff was professional and very friendly. I was told that my boxer had cancer and to make her as comfortable as possible, only to find out that it's not but a tumor that has been growing larger since February. When possible get a second opinion.

I have been coming here with my pets since they opened as Cleveland Park TR around 2004. They have cried with me, fought for my dogs’ lives, encouraged me given me overall sound advice and most importantly treated my doggies in a highly competent and professional manner. I recently lost a 15 year old pittie and then a 12 year old pittie. When my last girl got sick on vacation this week, they worked me in today, on a Sat, and saw my Fifi. Her issue wasn’t something that needed to wait until Monday and because of them. She’s feeling much much better this evening. I believe in brand loyalty and I’ll drive the 30 min it takes to get me to TRAH.

We've been taking our Golden Retriever to TRAH for over 5 years. Today we had to have her put down due to old age. She was 14. That's 2 years over her Life Expectancy. I feel like that's because of Dr. Phillips. He was also the one who administered the medicines to send her to Heaven. The Doc lost a friend today too not just a Patient. Daisy Mae will be missed !

No answer, and No call back

I have two very large and energetic rescue dogs. TRAH has been a blessing with their medical, grooming, and boarding services. I’m pretty sure all the employees know my babies & everyone is so great with them.

Our new Old English Sheepdog was injured while trying to herd a Mule. TR Animal Hospital was kind enough to work us in and was very thorough with their examination. Not too serious thankfully. Great job Dr. Will and Hannah! We appreciate you.

Well my dog didn’t die from the surgery or have any complications so I won’t say they don’t know what they are doing medically. My issue is the lack of communication. I took my puppy there to be spade (?) and they did the procedure without any information on the price. Mind you I was expecting $100-$200 based on all my other pets being around that much, but not here. At this hospital the same treatment I’ve paid as low as $40 before (Human society), cost me $700. I also didn’t know this until I came to pick her up. Won’t be returning for those Lamborghini prices.

Travelers Rest Animal Hospital does the best grooming job my dog has ever had. I am so pleased with everyone there. They accommodate me in every way possible. The groomer does a terrific job every time. I am so happy I found them.

Excellent place for vet care.

This is by far the best animal hospital in the upstate! The building is beautiful, clean and welcoming. The staff are informative, helpful and compassionate. The pricing for examination and other procedures are very reasonable as well. They have curbside assistance and you can text or call when you get there. An associate comes out to greet you and offers you the option to come inside with your pet or they can take care of their needs without you being in the room. Dr. Roark was just the absolute best! The passion that he has for his job is very evident when you meet him. He has such a loving presence about him. He truly listens to you and your concerns. He is very thorough with an examination and explains everything as he is doing it. My puppy even got blood on her fur and they cleaned her up so it wouldn’t stain! ???? I had serious concerns for my dog and only went to trAH for a second opinion. I am so thankful that I did! I will forever take my pets to Travelers Rest Animal Hospital. Thank you so much for helping my westie! You all are such a blessing. ????????????
