A friend highly recommended Sunnyside Grooming Salon. I am so happy I listened! My mini poodle is only 3 months old but was in desperate need of grooming badly. Charlie and his staff are absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in until it was time to go, they are truly a blessing. My sweet Poppi looks so beautiful! This was our first time going to Sunnyside! Wow! What an outstanding experience in all ways!! The owners, Vicki & Charlie, were so welcoming to my nervous pup and to me! The salon was very clean and spacious. Our groomer, Faith, did an outstanding job, and 'Autumn' was one gorgeous Cocker Spaniel after her spa day! We'll be back, and I highly recommend you book an appointment for your precious pet!

The staff and owners are very friendly! They are knowledgeable in grooming and dog behavior. I have a labradoodle-medium to large size. I was very pleased with the way they left her coat. They were very helpful in letting me know what would be good for the dog and what to expect. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and they made suggestions to enhance the vision I had for the coat of my dog. They gave me a 3 hour expectation and the last two times I have gotten the call to pick her up at 2 hours. Friendly, help, quick, and knowledgeable.

I have an Australian Shepherd and didn't want her shaved. They know exactly what to do and my girl loves this place People are so kind and very timely.

We love Sunnyside Grooming.!.!.! The owners are wonderful. We always request Jenna. We just love her. We recently moved and I still will be driving back for a groom! When we first got our shih tzu we tried a few different places. I see us coming back for years to come.

Great staff who actually care about animals

Vicki and Charlie are the absolute best. We've been taking our standard poodle here since they opened and they do a perfect job every time. He is always excited to go see them.

Editing my review to reflect my most recent experience.They have been grooming Zeke for almost 2 years, I have always had a wonderful experience, until this past booking. Unfortunately, this experience was too frustrating and I will not be returning. I called and made an appointment for my 60/lb rough collie on 6/9/21 for 6/18/21. I arrived to my appointment a little early and they told me that they were "overbooked" and no "no crates" available and wanted to turn me away from that minute. Zeke had his therapy dog test at 9am the next morning and needed groomed for the test, which I explained to them, hence my calling ahead to book. They took Zeke and about an hour later they are calling me to come get him, stating that they cannot get him because he was "peeing" outside of the crate and onto the wires. Zeke has never done this before, he goes to nursing homes on trips as a therapy dog and he has never once attempted to pee on him. They refused to switch him and another dog in a different crate, to stop this "supposed" behavior. I suggested that I could come and sit in the car with him until they could groom him. All of my solutions were dismissed and finally was told that they were just "too over-booked" and there was just no way that they could see him that day. The suggested rescheduling for Saturday at 9am, knowing that is when his test would be. This tells me that the "peeing" was a false excuse to get out of doing him and get out of staying late. They did not care, they just wanted to get out of grooming him. If they were overbooked, they should have called me to cancel his appointment before the day of, so I could find an alternative groomer. They should have stayed "over" their shift, to groom him knowing the situation since THEY overbooked, it was a "them" problem, not a "me" problem. As a business owner myself, its important for you to accept responsibility instead of blaming the clients. Knowing Zeke and how he is in the therapy room and at nursing homes, I highly doubt he was peeing. I would have much rather appreciated honesty of overbooking, which what it came down to when I offered "solutions over blaming my dog. They did not even offer a free or discounted grooming for their inconvenience. They were nice and friendly, at no point were they "rude" but based on what happened and screwing me over on the grooming, I will not be returning to them. I gave them three stars because for the last 2 years, they were great with Zeke and always did a great job. Unfortunately, they cannot fix what happened.

They are SO Good! A small, privately owned business - husband & wife and they do all they can to take care of your dog! My dog gets excited when we pull up!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Charlie & Vicki Haynes, the owners of Sunnyside Grooming Salon. I’ve been grooming for them part time for almost 6 months. I will be leaving soon to start another career but I will miss my Sunnyside friends immensely! Working for Charlie & Vicki has been such a pleasure. I can not say that about some of my past experiences in other shops that I have worked in over my 30 plus years of grooming. I have never experienced such a display of kindness, not only for their employees but also love and compassion for each dog that comes through the door. I get such a tickle when I see Charlie taking dogs out of their crates just to talk to them and love on them for a few minutes. Vicki shows so much patience for dogs that can sometimes be difficult and is still able to make them look beautiful. Jenna and Faith are both talented groomers who genuinely love the dogs that they groom and the work hard to please the customers. Their grooming techniques and training really show when the dogs go home looking gorgeous. The entire staff work cohesively as a team to make sure that the dogs are happy, safe and loved while at Sunnyside getting their ‘ make overs’. Working at Sunnyside has been such a wonderful experience and i will always treasure my time with these fantastic folks!

Vicki and Charlie are the best groomers I’ve ever met and had any experience with! I have two older Yorkies that have cognitive dog syndrome which is the equivalent of human Alzheimer’s and they have a lot of issues but they are both so patient and kind, and so professional and so good not only with the animals, but with each other , the husband and wife team, it is phenomenal and it shows! Charlie held and talked to my boy Ace like he was his own, and Vicki had quite the challenge just being able to see my dogs nails to trim, not to mention he wasn’t holding very still, and the squeezed him in immediately! They will always be my groomers for all my fur babies ????????

My dog hadn’t been to the groomer in over a year due to Covid so she got pretty bad! They did such a great job even with her not being the best dog when it comes to her feet and face! They are so professional and courteous, will definitely keep coming back! Thank you!

My girl is a deaf 12 year old bull terrier with congestive heart failure. She shakes from nerves, and its important for her to stay calm. Since she can't hear them when they talk sweet to reassure her, I've caught them gently kissing her head while doing her nails. Incredible people. You can't put a price tag on that kind of care.
