We loved this place. We loved Dr. Ray. We stayed after he left. We worked with the horrible schedule they have now. We even paid extra because of only 1 vet. Now when we need them. They can't see us till july 29ty. Why can't you get another vet? You charge so much but must be greedy. We will not be back with our $$ or our babies. Stay away...go anywhere else.

Superb service from Vets and employees. Only complaint is the price. That is pretty much all Vets though. They are open five days a week, and a half day on Saturday.

Visited June 9 and had a horrible experience. I attempted to purchase Revolution plus and receptionist said my cat had not had an annual exam and we can't purchase. I attempt to schedule exam and they could not accommodate until July 19(called on June 9). They are down to one veterinarian and are very disorganized. I will take my pet to Reidville Road Animal Hospital

They truly care about their patients. I can't thank them enough for all the help and care they provide my baby.

The environment was clean and the staff was very friendly.

I took both of my dogs in for follow ups from our previous vet. One rabies shot, two annuals and one yeasty dog with hot spots. All fairly normal for us. This same treatment costs no more than $150 at the vet in FL. I pulled my records for the two vets I went to in VA and one was $250 the other more in the country was $200. When the tech came out to get my card and told me that my total was $597 I about fell out. No xrays. No IVs. One rabies shot, two annuals with heart worm fecal and one dog needing to be examined and treated for hot spots. $597. To all the people saying this place is affordable, are you looking to adopt a 36 year old? I do dishes. Anyway everyone was really nice but my cat gets bad asthma attacks every spring which requires a few nights stay and oxygen. Usually about $500 and I’m sure here it would be well over a grand. I just can’t afford that. Not sure if this is the Norm for the area but I’ll certainly be finding out!

Communicative, affordable, kind, and fairly quick! Our dog whose allergies were ignored finally got good treatment here. They've even trimmed her claws (we were doing our best with the dremel but she hates claw trims) and treated her hyperkeratosis -- now she lets us touch her paws! I really like this place, best vet I've ever worked with.

How can you say anything bad about Spartanburg Animal Clinic. The staff and veterinarians are exceptionally professional, helpful, personable, friendly and make sure that all your questions and concerns are answered and handled with the utmost professionalism. They will do everything within their power to get you a appointment ASAP and make sure your fur baby is treated like a family member. They are passionate about what they do and make no mistake they will make sure that you’re educated in your fur babies care. The clinic has state of the art equipment and makes sure their staff is educated in treating your babies with care and commitment. This vet has been by far the most attentive and interactive even with covid. They have endeavored to keep appropriate social distancing while still giving great care.

Very nice people, even during these hard times, the doctor came right out to my car to tell me everything, and is helping me with getting rid of these darn fleas ! Being a rescue comes at it's cost, but they have been wonderful !

In short, they are the best vet we've ever been to. We have a pug with a lot of health issues, and we've bounced around across 7 other vets over the last 6 years that we've owned him. My husband and I are from out of town actually, and 4 years ago, when we were visiting my parents, we decided to bring our little nugget in for a checkup. Spartanburg Animal Clinic did such a thorough exam... while still being affordable. And they actually fixed issues that other vets had told us were chronic and that our pug would just have to live with. Now, we actually plan trips around our vet appointments because we don't trust anyone else. This office is fantastic and we can't speak highly enough of the entire staff!

Called and was told that we had to this before we could do that and would cost x amount and then this had to be done for this amount before we could do this,then this also had to be done for that fee ....so basically it cost like 3 to 400$ just to walk in the door ...I didn't even ask asked how much it cost to get my dog spayed bc after like the fourth fee I was done!!!

The staff were all very friendly and kind. I would definitely recommend!

I was referred by a satisfied client after a poor experience with other area clinics that left my pet in unnecessary pain. We got what we needed here. Dr. Ray listened carefully to my concerns and addressed them all. The quality of my senior dog's life was improved substantially. Every visit thereafter (at least once monthly), I have received quality care for all my pets. I always feel free to ask any questions or address any concern with any of these doctors or staff.

If I could give zero stars I would, I have been given the run around by this office for over a week. I simply needed some anxiety medicine for my dog who is very very anxious when I leave for work I spoke with Amanda the hospital manager herself was told she would call me back herself never received a call never received an answer about the meds for my dog was told they “called and left a message” when I informed them that wasn’t possible because I don’t have a voicemail set up she then confirmed they had the correct number which they did but proceeded to say they mixed the last digits up to which I said I understand I would just like an answer about the meds and once she was informed of me not having a voicemail the phones apparently just wouldn’t go through sounds fishy to me I am currently still waiting for a call back and an answer about the medicine for my dog but I would not recommend them as they are very unprofessional and clearly don’t care about their clients I wouldn’t trust them to touch my dogs with a 10 foot pole at this point if they can’t do a simple call back I will definitely be taking my dogs elsewhere

They were so sympathetic when I had to say goodbye to my kitty Mittens. I received a sweet sympathy card with my baby girl's paw print on it.. ????

Staff is great. Took my pure breed german shepherd puppy for his 8 week check up. They didnt want to give him back. They were awesome to him and us keeping us informed. My new vet.

Wonderful place for pet surgery. Very good with the pets.
