I had never been to this office, my vet was closed and they told us to come in . Dr Smith was so very kind and compassionate . He and his staff made a very difficult day less stressful . Dr king and all the workers were friendly and very gentle with my kitty! Will make them my vet.

Our cat got very stressed when we moved to Spartanburg and formed a few crystals in his bladder. We took him to Smith Animal Hospital the day before Thanksgiving and they took great care of our boy. Dr. King was kind and clear about what needed to be done and made sure we were aware of the cost. Our cat ended up staying there for a few days due to the fact that he needed surgery and Dr. King personally called us every morning (even on Thanksgiving!). Dr. King and the staff at Smith Animal Hospital really care about what they do and it shows! We can’t thank them enough for saving our boy! Happy to say our cat is back to his normal, adventurous, happy self!

I have been thrilled with the professionalism of this practice. They provide practicle advice at reasonable prices. They have taken excellent care of my older collie. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a vet.

We used another popular veterinarian for about 30 years. When I had an appointment, sometimes I waited 2 hours. We changed to Smith about 3 years ago. They are wonderful!! We had 2 dogs and 2 cats. Three of our pets have been in. Almost no wait time. Fantastic helpful with us during times of anxiety. I recommend to anyone looking for an excellent care for their fur family.

Staff are polite and caring during check ups. I like that this is a walk-in clinic with long hours to accommodate those working regular daytime jobs.

Dr king is AWESOME. I thought my little dog was going to die. A collapsed trachea. He couldn't breathe and was turning blue. Then he had a tumor on his side that I thought was a big tick and they removed it and cleaned and checked his teeth. I am very thankful for them taking care of my little friend.

Our dogs are long time patients of this veterinary clinic. We have seen all of the different veterinarians at this practice over the last 12 years and are extremely happy with the level of care and compassion they provide.

I could not love and appreciate Smith Animal Hospital, the doctors and staff more than I do. We have been taking our dogs there almost 20 years, and they are the best! I made the mistake of taking my 13-year old girl Zoe to a Vet closer to our house, just so she’d be “set up” in case I needed to get her in quick. Tragically, this vet prescribed a medication and did not properly monitor her and she became sick. I rushed her back to Smith AH and they did everything they could to save her. Sadly, the damage had been done and she died. I will never take my dogs to anyone but Smith AH from now on. I’m not naming this vet but will be filing a complaint, as Zoe would still be here if Smith doctors had treated her. Worst lesson of my life. Please, take your beloved pets to a clinic who cares about them, and this is Smith Animal Hospital.

So my daughter jaz broke her leg and they made sure to treat her as good and better like I treat her I am so happy and impressed with the service and attention they gave my baby girl. I am so grateful for this hospital will never go anywhere else thank you smiths

They are great with our pet. We take her there and also get her meds. We were there a week ago with Tippy with a paw problem. They treated her and we took her back a week later and the paw was better .
