Not friendly on the phone

We've been boarding our pups at Watch my Wag for nearly four years. It's the only place we will take them for their home away from home when we travel. I am continually impressed by their professional staff and how happy my dog Crockett is to arrive, every time. More so, I appreciate their responsiveness and compassion for my family and our pets. We highly recommend them if you need a place where you know your pet will be loved on.

They were amazing! I couldn’t find anywhere to board my dog over Thanksgiving as her usual place was booked, and they found me a spot. Andy came home today, clean, happy, and exhausted. Thank you!

My pup loved this place. The minute we pulled up he was racing towards the door to go play.

Took my “brownie” here for kennel services and grooming and I can not think of a better business to send your animal to be loved on! Very professional and they had my baby back in a very timely manner! If you need your baby looking groomed fresh and amazing I rate this place a million stars! Great prices and friendly staff keep your wanting to go back and feel like family ❤️

My dog LOVES coming here for Day Play! He gets super excited just pulling into the parking lot and cannot wait to get inside. Everyone greets him by name and he is so happy to see his friends.

WMW is amazing! We live about an hour+ away from their location towards the coast, and last year when Hurricane Florence hit, we knew that finding a hotel and driving with all three of my dogs would be next to impossible. We had used WMW before, but checked with them to see if it would be safe for one of our dogs to stay for a few days while we took the other two with us to evacuate since they are further inland than our home is. They have a generator, and someone stayed with them overnight to ensure their safety. This year, we just had Dorian come through, and needed to do the same. They were extremely accommodating and really went above and beyond to get our girl situated. They typically even offer LOWER rates during a hurricane, which is really unprecedented. We will continue to use them in the future, as we tend to get a hurricane just about every year! Thanks for taking care of Stella!

PET PERGATORY - do not subject your beloved pets to this filthy facility! From the moment I stepped foot in this place, I was overwhelmed by a horrible stinch! The entire facility looked like a dump. The ONLY reason my pups stayed here was because all the other boarding places were booked. When I picked my dogs up, the lady at the counter handed me their bed (which I left on the doorstep as it wreaked of urine, among other things). My dogs appeared to be very distressed and peed outside like they had not been taken out all day.They also drank a TON of water when we arrived at our home, which made me think they Had not had access to water in quite some time. I checked their bag, which was filled with unopened treats, bones, and new toys. All had not been touched. This is UNACCEPTABLE! This place should be shut down. And not to mention, the credit card machine was down so I had to pay cash and they couldn’t even give me the proper change they owed me. So, basically they were given a nice tip instead of waving the additional 8 cents I owed them. I didn’t argue because I couldn’t stand the smell any longer. Ridiculous!

The second time I took my dog there to be groomed I dropped him off at 8 am. I have no idea when he was done because no one bothered to call me. When I called them at 5pm asking what my dog's status was, they said he was done. I picked him up and he was eager to get out of there, where normally he loves being at the groomers. Once we left, he peed like he hadn't been let out all day and drank water like he hadn't had a sip all day. No wonder he was eager to get out of there. I wasn't impressed with the sloppy hair cut he got and really disliked how he was treated. I will not be returning.

Watch My Wags was a life saver when I had to make last minute reservations during the holidays. My two pups, Pauly and Silas, were given great care during their stay. They were happy and excited when I picked them up and had so much fun they had to take a nap when they got home! Thank you so much for giving my pups an extra special holiday! Best place in the world for dogs. I take our lab there for day care time to time and the only place I will board her when going out of town. My dog, Max, gets super excited the second we pull into the parking lot. Comes home exhausted from play (yeah, they get all the energy out of a 1 year old dog). Great way to socialize the dog and owners are the best animal people you will ever meet. They offer all types of services including full grooming (our dog hates getting nails done, but she sits still for them). They even get Christmas gifts for their regulars and I am blown away with the quality and specialization including her name embroidered. I can be a high maintenance customer, but I rate them ten stars out of five. Finally, the value is incredible. The quality care and comfort far exceeds any other daycare/boarding place I have used, but the cost is same to less than others.

We use their "Doggie Day Care" once a week, bought a package deal. Great for our little rascal who is contained a lot at home during the week.

I wanted to take my 2-year old Husky-Pomeranian mix there for some behavioral training. My dog lacks impulse control and has serious problems with interaction with small animals that run. Watch my wag was recommended to me by a friend who boards her dog there for the playtime he receives during the day. A couple of red flags should have alerted me to the unsuitable conditions there. First, I called and the young person on the phone told me that I had to fill out an application on the website and someone would call me back. That did not happen. I had to call back to get an answer to my request. The owner seemed knowledgeable on the phone but kept cutting me off mid-sentence. When I finally got to make an appointment, I took my dog in and he's absolutely terrible with wanting to smell every other dog in sight. That's exactly the reason I wanted behavioral training for him. There was another dog exiting while I was entering and the employee yelled at me for not letting the other dog leave properly. I wasn't aware of a procedure since I had never been there before. My dog stayed overnight there. When I picked him up the next day at 11 the owner started the conversation about him with rudeness and distain. She was confrontational and unprofessional. She kept saying my dog was "nasty". When I asked her to clarify she got mean. I asked if he was aggressive and she said no. But kept repeating that he was nasty...still don't know what that meant. She tried to show me by staring at him. My dog was in the dark kennel and she was standing outside the kennel looking directly down on him with an aggressive look on her face. My dog was visibly shaking with his ears pinned back. He was low groaning in his throat. When she opened the door he cowered as if he'd been hit. As soon as she turned a smile on and started kissing at him he livened up and became happy. I left in tears because of her actions towards me and my dog. Obviously we are not welcome there.

Kathy (trainer) was excellent. Helped us tremendously and was always positive and friendly with both ourselves and our dog. Grooming is excellent and they have managed to work us in easily enough. The big plus is that they use environmentally and pet safe cleaning supplies. That's important to me.

A very nice, clean, friendly and professional boarding facility. Very easy registration and reservation process on the web. I like that they are open on weekends for pick up and drop off. They always treat our bulldog with the highest level of care and supervision. WMW also offers grooming, daily walks, and play time. Great prices for daily boarding, $25 per night and they offer a military discount too.

What a horrible experience today was. We routinely bring our Yorkie for a routine "puppy cut" and have nothing but great things to say...until today. After leaving him with this "groomer" for 9 hours, we were given multiple excuses for why his haircut was so poor (including "my clippers broke," "you didn't give me any guidance") And still, we were charged $35....No apology, no courtesy call to let us know the about her problems with her grooming skills.... It's unfortunate that the quality of grooming, for what has been awesome in the past, is ruined by one unprofessional and inadequate "groomer."

Probably one of the few greatest places to take your pet. This place was kind enough to care for my beloved Cat. I am grateful for their services. The best so far for everything pet related. =D Highly recommend!

We have been bringing Maggie to Watch My Wag going on at least three years now. Maggie is a rescue that has been abused, she can be aggressive and does not trust people. Vrnda has helped us learn how to deal with her behaviors. The staff have been great! We have had Maggie boarded and we also have her groomed there too. They do a great job on the grooming! They take notes and want to sastify. Vrnda has always made herself available to help in times of need. She wants you and your dog to be happy.

Vrnda and staff at Watch My Wag are very professional and courteous. They have boarded, trained and groomed several of our dogs. I definitely recommend!

I took my dog for an overnight stay. I usually board at another facility, and my little dog usually enjoys his experience. This was different. They do not provide a facility tour. That should have been my first clue something was wrong. The person who took my dog in seemed very indifferent. When I picked him up, he was very stressed. He whined and cried all the way home, and when we got home he drank three bowls of water. I contacted Watch My Wag and they attributed it to my "last minute" reservation and provided a long and very defensive explanation, that really gave me no information at all. I think there are problems here and will not be using them again. I cannot recommend this for anyone's dog.

Awesome place and the owner knows her stuff. My dog used to become aggressive around larger dogs. His behavior is much more relaxed after the exposure he received from attending day play.
