Great place to take your pet. Download the coupon for your first office visit free. They have great Covid protocols in place, so you don't have to worry. Took very good care of my senior cat and even though the diagnosis wasn't a good one, I think that the treatment plan is going to work. Thank you to the whole team for working with my cat and I. This will be the only place I will bring my animals from now on.

We’ve been coming to this vet since before the banfield switch over. Slowly the service has gotten worse over the years. The front desk staff is routinely rude and has started conveniently forgetting to tell customers about important information prior to visiting the vet. For example, our dog is on thyroid medicine and was scheduled for a Senior check up. When we dropped her off they asked if she has had medication within 6 hours of drop off (she gets thyroid meds in the morning and evening), we responded with yes. Conveniently for Banfield, they can do a special blood work test if you pay extra for a special test (sent out, not in house). We explained this was never told to us or put on the auto text thats sent out. Banfield wouldn’t budge on the price, either pay for the other test or don’t get your dogs blood work properly tested. To be clear, we love Doctor Powers. The front staff however needs to either slow down when booking appointments or to be trained on special considerations for certain appointments. TL;DR, charge was passed onto the customer because the staff didn’t tell us how to prepare for our visit and provided no remorse for there mistake.

Yadkin Park Animal hospital currently Banfield Pet Hospital has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! FYI when scheduling an appointment the receptionist will tell you one thing and when you arrive you are told something completely different. WARNING the staff will lie on you!!!!!!! Lastly, please listen.... this establishment is NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL TO PEOPLE OF COLOR!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend another hospital for your pet.

We’ve had our dog in for surgery twice in which they had to bring in an outside surgeon. The management transition to Banfield occurred around the time of the first, but was well established during the second. The bottom line is the difference was quite appalling. First, the prices we were quoted for the procedures were the same, though we were charged $700 more for the second procedure. Their response was that we “weren’t charged correctly the first time, so they were making up for it.” Their own staff was in a state of shock and apologized profusely to me for their management’s response. Second, our dog developed what appeared to be a fungal infection near the anesthesia site following the second procedure that had spread noticeably and prevented the hair from growing back. When we took her in it was explained by Dr. Powers that this was a normal reaction following an epidural and prescribed no treatment. Three months later and our dog has a big, scaly bald spot on her back that happened “because cellular material from the epidural injection may have leaked onto her skin.” That’s worrisome because, well, that’s just not how an epidural works. And the straw that broke the camel’s back...while on the phone receiving this nonsensical explanation it was revealed they had other dogs with the same issue following these surgeries. When we suggested it may be good feedback for the surgeon to know this was happening, Dr. Powers rudely cut us off on the phone and chastised us for how preposterous that was because “they’re board certified” and said she needed to get off the phone because she had patients to see. Uh, hello, aren’t we talking about your patient here? Let me just say that in all the first hand experience we’ve had either working at or with a veterinary medical clinic, we’ve never seen unprofessional behaviors like these. This used to be an incredibly wonderful clinic before “the Banfield way” moved and made it into purely a cash grabbing business completely insensitive to the medical needs of their animals and clients. Needless to say, we’ve pulled our pet’s records and we won’t be returning.

I love Banfield but I'm not impressed with this location. I made an appointment for them to call me the day of and cancel because someone else already took that appointment. I'm sorry but as a previous Banfield employee in one of the busiest locations in the US, that would never fly.

This is our new way to share and worship the word of God and Jesus Christ. Looking forward to honest and open discussion.

Not recommended. I took our puppy there for shots, vaccinations and a check up. I spent most of the time repeatedly saying no to various sales pitches even when talking to the vet -- it was like being on a used car lot. I think many of the original veterinarians have left from the transition (it was formerly Yadkin Park, which had a good reputation and is why I went here). I felt distinctly uncomfortable through the entire visit.

The staff is always polite and very helpful. My babygirl, Aria always gets the best service even when she is being a uncooperative.

Your safety is their concern. Pets are picked up and returned by staff members to your auto. The vet comes out to explain and discuss your pets condition with you, answering all your questions.

Take a long time for our visits, good with my dog, but she doesn't seem to get much better after treatment

We had to put out baby girl down and it was so sad, but Banfield/Yadkin Park Animal Hospital was very nice. The doctor was so patient and understanding. She comforted us. They even sent us a sympathy card.

My dog almost died! I called the 24/7 line and they told me to call and get my dog seen the next morning. Called and explained it to the receptionist who told me they had no appointments for two days. Called back when my dog's face started to swell. No help. When my dog was choking and couldn't breathe I insisted they see her. Almost $1,000 later I found out it was a liver infection and she could have died if not seen.
