The ladies at this clinic are so knowledgeable and kind. My senior citizen kitten has been having problems for a while, and everyone we had interaction with on our visit was very accommodating, you can tell they care about the pets they see. It's not overly loud and hectic like a lot of clinics I've been to, which was nice for her stress levels (she's seizure prone), and now that's she's on full time medication, the call-in service and drive up window are a convenience I didn't even realize I needed. Once we move closer, all the rest of our cats will be making the transition over to Hillcrest, it's 100% worth it. Thank you to the staff, y'all are gems!

The vets are really great but lately the vet assistants haven’t been that great. One got an attitude with me and also gave my toothless cat hard treats while they were trying to take her temperature which resulted in her trying to chase them around. Another one had no idea what she was doing when she gave one of my cats liquid medicine. Hopefully they will get some better qualified help soon.

Dr. Stacey along with the staff at Hillcrest have been compassionate all the years I’ve known them. Through the 13 year journey of my Cleo to the bright future of Tucker. Wonderful ladies???? I appreciate you. Thank you for all you do.

I came here after a bad experience with another vet. The vet here made me feel confident in the change. The initial visit price was the same as what I was told over the phone. I do wish surgical procedures had some sort of discount but they accept care credit which is nice. My cat loved her and I found out what was truly wrong with her and that’s what is important to me!

The Dr's and staff are well equipped to care for our dear pets. Their caring and professional attitudes as well as their knowledge is settling and reassuring. I trust them with my sweet pups.

I am new to area and needed a visit to a Vet asap, Hillcrest was the answer! The staff was wonderful. My dog was having severe skin issues and the Doctor gave me several solutions after the exam. She offered great advice, along with the meds. The meds were effective on day one, now she is almost through with the antibiotics and looking and feeling better. Happy with my decision to go to Hillcrest!

Doctor and staff were friendly enough. Went in to get my two kitties up to date on their shots and address an eye infection. It was going to cost $600+ dollars to have it all done, no problem. HOWEVER, we waited 45 minutes after our appointment time for the doctor to actually come in. We waited for 30 minutes once in the exam room after the nurse got vitals for the actual doc to come in, then she spent 5 minutes with us and was gone. I refused any services/tests beyond treatment for the eye infection. Will not spend $600 at a place that shows zero respect for their patients’ time.

My 17 year old & her friend took a kitten they found in a school parking lot to Hillcrest to be checked out, and treated, if need be. We were told they would only need to cover the medical expenses. Fast forward two weeks later, we were told the kitten could be picked up, and that instead of the medical bill we will only need to cover the adoption fee. When I contacted the animal hospital this morning to make sure all the steps are completed for my daughter to pick up HER kitten I am met with confusion, told the kitten hadn't been medically cleared and wasn't available, and then told they would send me the adoption papers. A few hours later I am told "OH, sorry. That kitten has actually been adopted out". Two teenagers had the absolute intention of using their own money to cover the kitten's medical fees, and instead neither will have their kitten. In my opinion, an animal that wasn't found by any of Hillcrest's staff should have NEVER been placed before the general public for adoption. I am extremely disappointed in this practice.

Well they used to be one of the best places to take your pet; unfortunately, times have changed and so have they. My wife and I scheduled an appointment for two of our cats. They decided they are too high strung to be seen without being sedated. They sold us medicine to sedate them but it was making them sick my wife tried to explain it to them but they got an attitude with her and hung up the phone…….Really? Ok then good bye and good riddance

The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to set up an appointment right away to examine my dog. He needed a surgery and they got him scheduled right away. They were patient and very kind. The doctor called me to let me know the surgery went well and discussed the post op care with me. I appreciate them taking such good care of my dog.

Dr. Elswick at Hillcrest genuinely cares about your animal. Period. I recently found out my dog has kidney disease and she has spent 20 minutes at a time on the phone with me explaining everything in detail and answering all of my questions. They try to make the vet appointment experience as positive for you and your dog as they can. The staff is always friendly at check in and the waiting area and rooms are always clean and well cared for. My baby may not love the vet, but I sure do!

My fiancé and I just recently moved to the area and we’re struggling to find a vet for our 5 year old GSD mix. I was throughly impressed and happy with our first visit at Hillcrest! The inside is super adorable and the staff was friendly and efficient. Most times we visit the vet my dog usually goes into high alert. But he was at ease with the staff! This was such a great sign, he loved them! 5/5 stars forsure we will definitely be coming back!

So grateful that the folks at Hillcrest Animal clinic saw our new puppy on an emergency visit before we were even clients. Took great care of our little fur drama queen and this nervous new mama! We are now new patients and couldn't be happier with our care!

We are new to the area, and feel so fortunate to have found Hillcrest Animal Hospital. The facility itself is well organized and very nice, and all of the staff are wonderful! …friendly and helpful, professional, knowledgeable and so compassionate. Thanks so much for the excellent care you have given our sweet boy Cooper!

The Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville sc the most greedy ripoff. We got an appointments for our 2 cats with no problem at first. Then we get there 10 minutes early after a 30 minute drive we sat there with the cats stuck in the car with us for another 60 minutes! Cat’s went inside and we waited then the bill came SUPRISE heres your bill they charged us double what all other vets charge. Nickel and dime people to death and don’t even offer any deals for repeat customers. Oh and now won’t return a sedation medicine that my cats can’t take for the third time because it makes them sick? And then hang up on me when I’m talking? Really? I’m gladly going somewhere else much better for hungry greedy unprofessional

Titian just had another excellent visit and annual checkup at Hillcrest. This is our third year and would not think of going elsewhere. So professional, caring, punctual and thorough. Titian even enjoys the visit!

Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. Welcomed my pet, although not a current patient, with concern for her health by fitting her in to their busy schedule and then doing a comprehensive exam to diagnose her issue. Looking forward to Hillcrest Animal Hospital caring for my pets going forward.

3 stars. Not a horrible place to take your forever friends but unfortunately the doctors and nurses don't give you all the necessary information about certain wounds, medicine, etc... Walk-ins could be handled better but only waited about an hour and a half on top of their booked appointments. Felt more like they were just trying to get me out of there vs dealing with the situation at hand. Overall good place though 6/10 would recommend.... changed to 4 thanks for reaching out!

We recently changed our Veterinarian to Hillcrest Animal Hospital. We were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism of everyone at the clinic. They took as much time as necessary and answered all our questions. They took fantastic care of our Dante and discussed a great treatment plan.. We are so glad we made the switch. We love this place.

My dog was sick and we weren’t clients. They fit us into a fully booked day within 15 minutes of our arrival. The nurse had such a great energy. They were thorough and took care of him! He was so much better within a day! We won’t be going anywhere else!

We recently moved here from out-of-state. We noticed Molly had an ear infection. We called several vets in the area. No one had an opening for 5 days or more. HAH was the only one who responded compassionately and suggested they would work us in. It turned out Molly had 2 ear infections. Molly received outstanding care. We were impressed with the professionalism and quality of service we received. We highly recommend Hillcrest Animal Hospital.
