My cat was dying and I called Newport veterinary and was told my car couldn't be seen for my emergency. I also called other vets in my area. All told me they couldn't see my dying cat. Wow I was floored since when does a veteran not take emergencies? I lost my cat that evening. Not happy with any of our local vet office I. The area. Emergency animal hospitals are not close and are double what a vet would charge and don't open till evenings. I don't think it was fare my cat had to die, thanks for not helping!!!

A great place and great staff, all around. It is easy to tell that the whole staff is very caring and passionate about our loved ones under their care.

Very good my dog loves it

Very pleased with the care my cats got there. We relocated from IL and they were due for their annual shots and exam. We chose them simply because they were the closest to our house. I'm glad they were. The staff was friendly and the vet was very informative. One of my boys had a reaction to one of the shots and they gave him great follow up care and even called to see how he was doing.

If I could rate less than 1 star I would. My dog has been coming to this vet since 2015. Today my parents took her to the vet to see what else could be done with her allergies due to the food changes and apoquel prescription not doing anything for the 5th time. I specifically asked for her to receive the Cytopoint injection. The doctor told me mother it was a hassle because she would have to be seen every 8 weeks for another round which we both had no issue with. He walked around every question they asked him and insisted on keeping her on the apoquel even though she’s been on it over a year with no positive progress. My mother being the trusting kind soul that she is decided to just buy more apoquel for $300. She called me and explain both her and my dad asked many questions that he just did not answer and moved on to talk about something else. They felt uncomfortable and they are not confrontational people. They ended up spending $500 for absolutely no advice and a medication that they did not want. I called to complain to the vet and asked for their records to be emailed to me because they would not be returning after I expressed my concern and issues and she said “ok” and hung up. This place is beyond unprofessional. They have kept my dog on unnecessary medication for over a year with no real effort to try and solve the problem. I 100% do not recommend this vet.

Love Newport vet office kind and professional!

Great vet. We love our pets and need to be able to trust our vet and i feel like we can get that here. The staff was very friendly, curtious, clean and knowledgeable. Also they were the best priced in town. The doctor was very nice and not pushy at all. They gave us a free sample of flee meds because we weren't sure which one we wanted, which was greatly appreciated. Great value and awesome experience. I would def recommend.

They do a great job I would suggest them to anybody.

I’ve taken my pets to this vet since 1998 with good care of our pets, however when I needed to take my 22 year old cat to have her looked at they said there were no appointments available this week and to take her to the emergency vet. When we said we will take her somewhere else they dismissively said “ok”. I still have other pets and I’m upset that I will have to look for another vet because they obviously don’t care to see animals in need.

Every person there from all staff and all Vets have been extremely nice and kind and they are very kind and gentle with all out pets (2 cats and 1 dog). Their prices are fair and somewhat cheaper than other vets in the area. I highly recommend them.

Everyone at this Hospital knows the word compassion. Down to a special bag for my dog's medicine. They understand how important our pets are to us, they are our family, and they treat them with extra care and lots of love. Always great you and your pet with a great smile, and a positive attitude.
