Fast and efficient and Knowledgeable. Very caring about my pet's well being.

I have been bringing my three dogs here for the last two years. I've been really impressed with the staff and doctors. I never feel oversold on unneeded treatment or products.

I just moved from NY to SC with my 4 pugs. I needed to find a reputable vet that is caring and compassionate. I researched vets in the area and chose Catawba Animal Clinic based off of others reviews. I arrived late to my female pugs appt. We were greeted so nicely. I apologized for being late...some things happened that were out of my control and I got lost, well, drove right by it as I am not familiar at all with the area...I even left home with extra time. All of the staff were wonderful. What I was most impressed with and never got up North with their previous vet of 16 years was.....Dr. K. So thorough and explained everything to me. She read my pups records that were sent a day earlier and she remembered everything she read. She even got down on the floor with my pup to try and calm her down. Mandi had a nail trim and her ears cleaned. Pug owners know just how bad pugs ears can get. Well, Mandi gets so worked up when her ears are messed with. She received a 1 dose treatment of antibiotics and an ear cleaning. All of these years, I never knew or was told of this 1x treatment. My former vet would've just sent me home with a 40 dollar bottle of ear meds to give 2x a day for 2 weeks and send me on my way. I highly recommend Catawba Animal Clinic for your furbabies. I can't wait to bring the other 3 (boys) for their 1st visits

My roommate and I have been taking our cats to Catawba for over 10 years and have always loved them, especially Dr. Buckley. This past week we had took our cat in to have her checked out. She'd been on chemo for lymphoma (which Dr. Buckley caught early on when Stelly was there for something completely different). Stelly had stopped eating and was isolating. Dr. B did a scan and found another massive tumor in her abdomen. Needless to say, it was "that time" and she was amazing with us as we said goodbye, as were the vet techs. Catawba made an unbearable event bearable. They helped with decisions about the remains and we were very pleased with that process. This was on a Monday. On that Friday we needed to bring another cat in for an upper-respiratory infection and while she was being treated, Dr. B sat and talked with us for another good, long while to comfort and ease our minds more (those doubts and feelings of guilt one goes through after making the decision for euthanasia). Completely above and beyond.

I have a deaf cat who can be very loud and sometimes difficult, but they do a great job of accommodating him and his needs! I also have a "normal" cat who seems to enjoy this place as much as a cat can enjoy a vet.

Last Monday was probably one of the worst days of my life. Although my sweet girl Stelly was fighting lymphoma with chemotherapy, hearing about a new mass that had popped up so quickly and grew so rapidly when we took her in, was almost unbearable. Dr. Buckley was amazing through it all. She put me at ease and was comforting when I realized that nothing else could be done. No one wants to ever make the decision to have their pet put to sleep, but it was nice to be surrounded by the kindness, compassion, and sincerity of Dr. Buckley and the staff at Catawba Animal Clinic. I will never forget your kindness or the tenderness you had with Stelly.

We've been bringing our pets to Catawba Animal Clinic since 2009, after having a not-so-wonderful experience at another veterinarian's office. We typically see Dr. White, and we love her to death! But when we've had emergencies, we've seen a few of the other doctors over the years, and we love them too. I can't recommend them enough, as their compassion during some of the hardest moments for our pets, has been priceless.

I was blown away with how amazing your clinic was. I met with Doctor Mazur and he was more than helpful. I brought my rescue in for just a general wellness exam and to get information about getting him neutered. When I told Dr. Mazur about an itching problem my dog was having, he discussed medication options with me and told me he preferred to try the more reasonably priced option first, especially because my dog's case was not that severe to need the other option. That instantly sold me on Catawba Animal clinic. I didn't feel like I was ever being overcharged or pressured into doing unnecessary procedures or tests with my dog. On my follow up appointment, both the doctor and his assistant immediately asked me about things I had shared with them from our last meeting, which was a great feeling to know me and my pet were remembered instead of just being another patient they had to see that day. When casually talking to them about my concerns with training for my dog, Dr. Mazur had recommended several options and advice for me to help with training. He offered to send me a link to trainers that he knew good things about, and not even 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment I had an email from them with a link to the training website. Just another reason I will continue to come to Catawba animal clinic for any of my pets needs. A truly amazing staff that is friendly, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for all your help to keep my new family member happy and healthy.

A bit pricey for some of their services.

The set up is very comforting for dogs and especially cats. They always treat my pets with the utmost care.

Great regular vet office. We have had mixed experiences elsewhere but it is always a good experience here. We have been taking our dog here for 4 years now and when we have had emergencies they worked us right in. Like all doctor offices you have to wait a little bit, but that is to be expected. We have also boarded our dog here a couple times and they take good care of her. Plus it is nice to know that if anything happens while we are away her vet is right there.

How much do they charge for ear cropping

I adopted Bella a year ago at the beginning of the pandemic. I had never owned a cat of my own but I knew I wanted to make sure she stayed healthy. I brought her to Catawba Animal Clinic because it's where she's been and I wanted her to feel safe! I couldn't go in with her and was nervous. I've now brought her for a third visit and Dr. Buckley was so helpful and informative! She was patient with me as I had lots of questions. I took her to a groomer to trim her nails but she couldn't do it. She informed me that Bella may be hard to trim. Catawba Animal Clinic has done it twice with no problem! I am so grateful to have someone who cares for and loves Bella just as much as I do! Thank you!
