I appreciate the Pawleys island Veterinary hospital. They always take good care of my fur babies.

I can't say enough about these guys!

As always Dr. Klingham and his staff are top notch! Brought our pup in for lameness. Dr. Kilingham spent a good deal of time with us listening to our concerns and did not push for any expensive diagnostics but recommended we try some anti inflammatories first. His staff is always very friendly and take a great interest in our dog. I highly recommend Pawleys Island Veterinary.

Great check-up with our beautiful Lab with Dr. Kinningham. Also, the front desk staff are the Best--very friendly and helpful. You can tell that they love the animals!

River was playing around like a puppy after his recent visit with Dr. Welch. He had been laying around and struggling to get up. After examination and being very familiar with his history, Dr Welch prescribed an anti-inflammatory. After one dose his spirit lifted and he began moving more freely. River is 12 years old.

Recently relocated to PI and couldn’t have found a better vet clinic for our dog. Great pre appointment messaging and post visit follow up. Highly recommended.

I was overly impressed with Dr.Welch. My poor cat Garffy was at deaths door when I called them because no other vet would see him on short notice. When we arrived they took him straight back. He had kidney crystal/stones and had went into shock. They jumped right into action to save him. He was admitted to the hospital for 4 days and now is home. I hope they know how much I appreciate saving my baby.

The staff is like family!

My hound dog Charlie is treated like a King at Pawley's Veterinary Hospital. All of the staff are experienced and knowledgeable. The Vets are the best at the beach and have helped me and Charlie through some rough times. I honestly feel that everyone there cares about animals and their health. Very happy they have time to care for Charlie. Thank you!

We moved to the area in 2020 and had an issue with our sweet old lady dog of 12 years. We hadn’t found a Veterinarian yet so looked online and found Pawley’s Island Vet hospital. Everyone here at Pawley’s Island Vet was so very responsive and took the greatest care of her and my husband! They became our dog’s vet from that moment and every visit since has been a positive experience. We highly recommend them!

We have used this office for many years. They always took such good care of our lab and when it was time for her to go, Dr. Welch was there to comfort us. Now we have a new pup and everyone at the office is there to make sure he gets the care he needs. They follow up to check on the patient after getting a vaccine. We love the boarding facility too. It is comforting to know that if we go out of town, our vet is in the same building where our dog is being boarded. We are completely happy with Pawleys Veterinary Hospital.

As always there when we need them...took us asap when our doxie developed an intestinal issue....within 1 day of meds starting to get better....still a few more days of meds but everyone at Pawleys veterinarian office is great...thank you!

They got me right in with my issue for my sweet goldendoodle. I arrived, they took him right back and called me when he was done. The doctor came out and spoke to me face to face. fabulous!

Moved to Murrells Inlet in December and needed a new vet for my beloved dogs. I researched reviews on the web and decided Pawleys Veterinary Hospital was the best facility to meet our needs. Our first visit with one of my dogs confirmed that. Entire curbside check in along with vet visit was seamless and quick. Dr. Kiningham came out to the car to discuss the findings from the visit.

Everyone very nice. I only needed to wait a few minutes beyond appointment time for my dog to be seen. The appointment was for an exam ($45) they required in order for my little guy to have his teeth cleaned. His health was deemed fine to proceed. They then email you an estimate for the teeth cleaning. No wonder they email the estimate rather than give it to you at time of appointment....$721!!!! ???? I have a little dog. Makes me wonder what the price is for a large dog! My regular vet performed surgery to remove a lump from the front gum of my dog 3 years ago. I chose to have his teeth cleaned as well. The total cost was $325 for the surgery and teeth cleaning! Unfortunately, her practice no longer performs teeth cleaning.

Contacted Stephanie Welch Verville about our golden retriever - River. His neck had become extremely swollen in a couple days time. She asked me to bring him in the very next day. As soon as we got to the clinic she had one of the techs bring River right into a treatment room so she could examine him and take tissue and blood samples from the swollen area. After looking at the samples under the microscope she made her diagnosis, prescribed a general antibiotic and sent us home. After a couple days she sent me a text to see how River was doing. And within two weeks of seeing Dr. Welch the swelling has gone away and my dog is now completely healed. So River received high level professional care and is back to his normal self thanks to Dr. Welch. I would highly recommend Pawleys Veterinary Hospital to anyone living in this area. The care your pet will receive is phenomenal and the vets and techs truly love what they do. Bravo! Simply the best!

Dr. Stephanie and her staff are amazing. They really DO care about these precious pets of ours. We are lucky to have such great veterinary care here in Pawleys.

On one of the worst mornings of my life, Dr. Kiningham and his competent assistant, (whose name I'm afraid I don't know), showed me and my dear Dash the compassion and skill I'm sure their clients always receive. However, we WEREN'T their clients. - Dash's condition had quickly deteriorated over the Labor Day weekend, and our regular vet was closed recommending in voice-mail that we use a medical emergency facility in Myrtle Beach. As an older, single person, I couldn't imagine how I could handle the trip alone with my dog. I called Pawleys Island Veterinary Hospital as an alternative. I explained that my assessment was that Dash was quickly approaching the end of his life, and asked if they could see us. My urgent request was met with an immediate, positive response even though we were formerly unknown to them. - Dr. Kiningham and his assistant compassionately supported us as we experienced our last moments together. My gratitude to them is boundless, and I'll never forget their tender care.

Gemma loves Pawleys Vets. She never wants to leave. They are the best group of people.
