Every time I have brought my dog Stella in, Holly and Alexa have always been a great help!! I recently moved to the area and got a puppy not to long after the move, I needed a clinic to take my pup that was reliable, knowledgeable, and wasn't going to break the bank. Lowcountry Pet was recommended by a few friends and said they are amazing and they have never not been! Recently I also had to make the hard decision of putting my 17 year old pup down, the team was so patient and loving, which took some weight off my family's shoulders. 100% recommend this clinic!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC IF YOU WANT THE SERVICES YOU ASKED FOR. I have taken cats here twice. Both times I wrote on a piece of paper in bulleted format exactly which services I wanted and even included their posted price so they were clear. In both instances, they took the cat back and did not do everything I requested and added services not requested. Additionally, I was told one cat had a been dental condition. Two other vets looked at him afterwards and said he was young and had very healthy teeth - not even in need of a cleaning. They have no idea what they are doing at this place! STAY AWAY. Not worth the discount.

The staff here are very friendly and make you feel like you and your pet are important. This is because it is what happens when people actually enjoy their job and care about their work and its quality. Whatever malady ails your furry family member they can take care of and set you right with what you'll have to continue doing in order to make your pets healthy and happy. Highly recommend this clinic if you live in the North Area.

Place used to have nice friendly staff. They are not anymore, overworked/understaffed. Only waited almost 4hrs to be seen, but wasn't told you have 10 min to get back. Was 15 min after receiving the text and then they refuse to look at your dog. Complete waste of time and not worth the savings anymore. Would not recommend

We recently took in a vulnerable stray kitten and brought her to the clinic for her immediate healthcare needs. I got there at 9am and waited 50 minutes in my car until she was seen. The wait was not bad and the website waiting list was very helpful. You are not allowed to attend the vet visit but the vet tech talks to you before, during, and after; the receptionists were also very friendly and organized. *The waiting room was quite chaotic and very full so I don’t recommend the clinic for anxious, fearful, or aggressive pets.* This is a great local resource for affordable pet care that will support the reduction of abandoned and surrendered pets, as well as allowing more people to be responsible pet owners.

I loved taking my babies here (Lowcounrty Pet Wellness Clinic) The staff are very friendly and they love my fur babies. If you have an aggressive cat or dog, they know how to handle them and work with them to calm down and get comfortable without being rough with your pet. I absolutely recommend them. ???? I hope you have a good experience if you do decide to go with them.

Best place if you have or don't have money. Who needs all of the frills? Just treat my animal & give them their meds like this place! Love them!

Could give people some idea how long they'll be waiting. We waited three hours for our dog to get vaccinations, and that took less than ten minutes. The amount of time we spent waiting was not worth saving a couple bucks. Update: In reply to your response, this was Saturday, October 16. You seem to be more organized in how you track your patient's wait times than in how you actually see your patients. I have a text message that shows I checked in at 12:45 and another to show you were ready to see my dog at 3:33. Sorry I rounded up, that was only 2 hours and 48 minutes. By the way, you told me I could wait in the car and you'd come get me. Your process for doing so is to have someone yell into the massive parking lot and hope someone hears it. When we realized that, we waited in the building instead.

The Good: This clinic offers a valuable service by providing reasonably priced spay/neuter and vaccines. There are several add-ons to the base price of a spay/neuter (pre-surgical blood work, pain meds, etc.), but most of their pricing is transparent. The staff is friendly and seems to. be knowledgeable. The Bad: I was not made aware of all options for my pet. For example, I was never offered a pain injection which would have made her first 24 hrs. post-op much more comfortable. I was offered pills to take home, but I was unable to use them during the first 24 hrs. because I could not get her to eat. When I returned to the clinic for her staple removal, I was sent home with antibiotic capsules and was not made aware that there was an injectable option. My pet was unable to take the pills because they caused vomiting. All options should be presented to all patients. Honestly, it all seems rather hit or miss. The worst: There are absolutely no Covid precautions in place. It actually seemed that employees were forbidden to wear a mask as not one single employee was wearing one. No social distancing requirements, no mask requirements, and a line-up and pick a number system to be seen - exactly what NOT to do during a pandemic.

I rescued a 10 month old mixed breed puppy last week. Drove all the way to Louisiana to get him. The 1st night he was in our care, he swallowed a whole toy!! Yes, u heard that correctly! Took him to my sisters vet in LA & had surgery to remove it. Few days later my rescue pup & myself made the long trek back to Charleston. I emailed the clinic the next night & requested new patient link to register. They were quick to respond. Took him in on Saturday for shots. Website says they open at 10am. I arrived at 9 & already they were seeing patients. There must of been at least 20 people & their pets inside. The pet owners could be more responsible controlling their pets & not allow the leashes to go out so far. In my mind, animals will be animals & u just never know what may happen if a strange dog gets nose to nose with your dog. Your pet should be by your side at all times!! They weren't, which only made me more protective with mine. Website also says u must wait in your car if u have one. The waiting room was absolutely packed! Went to my car, I was #19 on list & signed in around 9:30. Sat in car for 2 hours. Left & got gas. Sat in car more. Decided to let my dog out to walk around. Very inconvenient place for a vets office. No grass around for your dog to use bathroom. I sat with my dog on the sidewalk for 30 mins, far from surrounding stores entrances. A lady came out of vet hollering thru breezeway that I must remain in my car. Very rudely I might add. U can only sit in your car with a dog for so long!! Went back to car then shortly after I got my text saying it was my turn. Go inside, wait another 20 minutes. Tech who came out was very pleasant. Answered all my questions. Made my follow up appt & neuter appt. Got in line to pay. After 15 minutes of standing there and other people going in front of me I interrupted and said I was next. Lady at front desk very rudely said my line starts over there. So I got in another line & waited again & finally paid! My suggestion if you go there is make sure you bring your animal water & maybe even a snack. The prices could be good but have nothing to compare it to. After I left I thought it may have been quicker to go later in the afternoon than 1st thing in morning. I am going to neuter my pet someplace else. Total time there...4 1/2 hours but only paid $130 & that included removal of stitches from his surgery. I won't be returning. Really depends on what's more important….. Money or quality care. Good luck!

The staff is the least of my worries. The “Vet” is what worries me. Our dog went for her routine proheart shot and we stated that the Vet we WORK for has mentioned diabetes insipidus, which is NOT what we came here for. But upon mentioning that, we were told that is not a thing and “does not exist” how unprofessional can you be? Not to mention another time when we brought our other dog for a routine check and was told he had a “skin infection” when in fact it was hair dye that we had put on his ears. They did not believe us and didn’t understand the slightest. Do any of these Vets have any schooling? This place is the low of the lowest and the Vets stand to that. So unprofessional and frankly these “Vets” are just plain stupid. Don’t expect correct diagnoses, they have no idea what they are doing. Definitely do NOT recommend.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about symptoms and what to test for. The facility was clean and oder free. I have been taking all of my pets there for years. I have never been disappointed! They are resting better now because the meds. we got today has already made them comfortable. Thanks for all your help! Bella and Cyborg.

Took a baby in to get shots so I can get a baby spayed but found out that my baby had to have an emergency spay because she had pyrometria. I was shocked that they couldn't work my baby in knowing how bad off she was. That was in April. Then in July, my baby showed signs of DM & an infection. Again, I was told to bring her to someone else because they don't do glucose curves. That's shocking because you are a vets office and they don't carry insulin. This place isn't the same as when Dr. Callie was there.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Super affordable prices, and they're super busy because of it. If you're going to their walk-in hours, be sure to arrive earlier (the line gets long). Service is usually quite fast; it's the waiting that takes the longest time.

I have been a patron for over a decade with 3 dogs. Under Callie the clinic ran smoothly, friendly and always helpful. After my visit today, their customer service is beyond me. I was e-mailed to pick up meds as usual, arrived at the time the doors open just to be met with flat out rudeness and complete disregard of common decency by employees and patrons. I waited in line behind a couple picking up their dogs being fixed today, took 10-15 minutes to get them, go over meds and check them out. Once they were gone a gentlemen walked out with cats, they immediately went on to service him completely disregarding the ONLY other person waiting there. Gave him tags, checked him out then on to the next, shame on him too for cutting the line. A woman walked out, sat on a bench and the cashier immediately turns to help her, AGAIN ignoring my presence so I spoke up since no one appeared to have ANY manners. I pointed out I just needed to pick up meds, takes less than 5 minutes and Kasey has the nerve to tell me that these people have been waiting ALL day to pick up their pets. I am WELL aware of how pick up goes, they have fixed my pet before BUT I too waited ALL DAY for you to OPEN so I too could pick up for my dogs. Shame on you LPW, my animals mean just as much as the next!

I've had several pets vaccinated and treated there and you just can't beat their prices and the Vets are super compassionate. Yes you have to wait awhile but then again at least they allow people to vaccinate their pets that probably would not if this place was not available. I've been going there for over 10 years and they really are awesome and care about animals and people.

If you're willing to wait the price is worth it. The technicians are all nice and they were kind and gentle with our dogs. Also, they give a military discount.
