I was traveling in an RV down to Florida and wanted to get my pup check out after a couple episodes of vomiting. The wonderful people got me in the same day. Quality, professional service at a very reasonable price. I would recommend! Thanks AAC Mt. Pleasant!

I have been using AAC since we adopted our 14yo mixed breed. He has started having joint pain that is increasing with age. When I called about a new limp in his front leg, they were able to see him the next morning. Dr. Hardy was great and came up with a plan that included 2 weeks of arthritis med to go along with another one he has been taking. It has worked well. AAC has provided excellent care over the years, and the office staff has always been friendly and responsive.

I recently had to let my little dog cross over the rainbow Bridge and Dr Hardy was so awesome and made the heart breaking situation so much easier for me.

When we moved to the Charleston area in 2019, finding a new vet was a task I wasn't looking forward to. After searching and calling a number of places, we happily found Advanced Animal Care. We have two very high maintenance cats and have seen all three doctors at AAC numerous times and would without a doubt recommend them all. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, take their time so you don't feel rushed, happy to answer many questions, and truly care about each of their patients. In addition to the doctors, we've boarded our cats many times with AAC and they have received the best care while we are gone. Over the years, the entire staff has been amazing and we trust them implicitly with all our pets (which isn't always easy!).

Drs David and Leslie have been our family vets for over 20 years since we moved to Mt Pleasant. They have cared for our fur babies with unparalleled compassion and expertise during this time without compromise. They truly place patient care on the forefront. They have cared for our 5 dogs during this time as we have collectively made the journey of their circle of life together. We have become friends along the way. 5+ Star rating !!!

We just love you guys. We couldn't be happier . We really appreciate the home visit especially now. That same day my husband went into the hospital and he will be recuperating for a few months after a toe amputation. The dogs seemed to be very comfortable with you also which is very important. This was my first visit to Advanced Animal Care of Mount Pleasant and I was more than pleased. From the moment I walked inside, the staff was warm and friendly, I was escorted to an exam room quickly, and the wait time for the doctor was short. Overall, my experience was excellent.

My two dogs get the best care ever at Advanced Animal Care. As one is now a senior, they are so good at taking the time to go over all of him and discuss it with me. I’ve seen all three doctors in Mt. Pleasant and am Happy with each of them. I think their prices are also reasonable!????????❤️????

I moved to Mt Pleasant in 2015, at the time my son was going to Advanced Animal Care with his lab that had diabetes. At his recommendation I took my 2 dogs. Dr’s David and Leslie Steele are the best, so compassionate, professional and so explainatory of all details regarding your pet. My puppy’s first visit went extremely well. She was very nervous to start with but they took the time to help her before examining her . She’s a rescue pup that had a difficult start , so pleased we found this Practice, genuine care and kindness shown by all.

Advanced Animal Care has been our vet of choice since we got our German Shepherd Stella 3 years ago ( our 8th dog together ) and our long-time vet retired. They have taken good care of her for regular check-ups and for one emergency. When I took Stella in this week due to an ear issue, Dr. Hardy was able to see her even though I had just called earlier that morning. Dr. Hardy's quick and correct diagnosis, along with some medication, solved Stella's problem and she is back to her self again. Our friends recommended Advanced Animal Care to us and I would do the same.

We love both Dr Steeles. They are fantastic! Our dog loves them too.

Dr Leslie determined the cause of a rupture on our one-year-old Ivy's tummy and prescribed an antibiotic. That was three days ago, and Ivy is definitely on the mend. Thank you, Dr Leslie!

We had to put our precious dog, Baby down. She was 16 years old. The staff was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. They did not rush us and were very compassionate in our emotionally difficult situation. Thank you to the staff for making our dog comfortable and for allowing us to show her our love during her transition to doggy heaven.

Our Bojangles left this world yesterday after 13 years of sharing our lives. He was a great and mighty dog in a little body, and we loved him. Dr. Steele and his staff ensured our boy went to heaven with dignity and empathy. Never once did we feel rushed and our grief was treated with the utmost respect. I will never forget the kindness my husband and I received during this heartbreaking time. Thank you all for the care you gave our beloved dog over the past years. JoAnn and Chuck Jarman
