Experienced staff and very helpful

My visit to the store was just ok. The store was out of 2 of the 3 things I went in for. I also placed an order on line that was 1-2 day delivery and it was almost a week before receiving the item. I could have ordered on Amazon and received it sooner. Second time this has happened when ordering something on line for delivery.

Always find what is needed

I went there today and was amazed.Hearing how Petco gets alot of bad reviews, I just really stopped in to see for myself.I was really impressed, the new person they have at that store really knows her stuff and is doing an incredible job with the tanks.And it shows!! All the fish were in great health, the tanks looked great with plants and decor.You can see a difference when an employee is really into the hobby and all the extra work and dedication does show in the tanks.Great selection in both fresh and saltwater.And she even said that she can try to get certain fish.So I placed a wish list and will know more in the coming weeks.So go and check this one out.You will be amazed

THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! THEY KILLED MY HAMSTER!!! I had bought a hamster here and brought it back to get examined by a veterinarian they said I would get her back in two weeks. I waited a whole month only for them to call me and say she was on medication and would call back in a week. 3 more weeks go by and no call. I finally go into the store only for them to tell me it died. I was not allowed to purchase another hamster unless I brought the whole 50 gallon enclosure up there for them to examine it. Other times I had been there and the staff is so rude and lazy. The Petco in Pawleys island or Pet Supplies Plus is so much better. Do not go here! RIP Scarlet

Employees are very knowledgeable and protective of the animals they sell. It is very refreshing the employees care more about the well being than selling to uninformed consumers.

Stock is always low, even before supply chain issues

Selection varies.. Supply Chain disruption has made a lot of things difficult.. Decent selection for birds reptiles and smalls like my Bunny... Dog and cat stuff Galore! I still prefer to support the smaller pet shops any chance I get!

Expensive pet store. I had ordered 2 toys to be picked up by me. Their app to announce I was out in front in my car was stalled. I had to call the company to get them to have someone deliver to my car. When the associate came out, he handed the bag to me, and I said thank you, he said nothing back and had a frown on his face. He just turned around and went back into the store. The wait was long and this lack of enthusiasm for his job was disappointing.

Omg! Have never seen such a lg. selection of cat food, toys, and ,supplies. Most pet stores have lg. selection of dog foods, toys, and supplies. I was so happy to see so many options for my kitties ????????

I won't bring my pet for grooming ever again. He looks horrible, all chopped up and they used clippers on his legs instead of scissors. His hair looks like it was cut with dull blades, not clean cut at all and they didn't do his nails. As far as supplies Chewy delivers. So why walk through the store when I am disabled? Boo that grooming gets an F

Everything was perfect. My dog loves her new toy, and the turkey jerky.

Had a litter of purebred Golden's. Petco should carry more puppy supplies
