Oh where do I begin, I am a new dog mom and I want what is best for my dog. The team at Market Common Grooming are by far the best grooming in South Carolina. They were so comforting and took amazing care of my puppy. I have taken my dog in twice and they have been so comforting both times. I would not trust anyone else with my dog. They have all the times clearly posted outside on how long it would take for your dog to get a proper groom. If you want a good professional team who truly care for your animal then you should choose to bring your pet to Market Common Grooming.

I took my cat here on April 12 for grooming. About 1 week after that, I noticed a hair loss on both sides of my cat. This was not normal, as he was normally a very fluffy cat. We immediately took him to the vet and they took a sample for testing. After 2 weeks, we got the results and learned that it was a fungus-induced ringworm. Our vet said he probably got it from the grooming center, as he was not in contact with other pets anywhere other than grooming. I don't know how sanitized it is for dogs, but if you have a cat, DEFINITELY DO NOT CHOOSE it!! Because of this, my cat has now started a 2-month medication.

Our puppy loves this place, especially Jenn. He gets groomed and bathed and comes home looking like a little king. A very good place to depend on.

We have taken our dog Sadie to this place multiple times over the past two years or so. The last two visits have been terrible. We figured the last visit was just a one off kind of deal and brushed it to the side. She didn’t have her ears cleaned or teeth brushed. After picking her up today, her teeth, ears and nails were not touched. All they did was shave her. We will no longer be using this groomer and would advise others not to as well. Not happy with going $100+ and not getting service worth that price.

Aubrey and her girls do an amazing job on my babies so far she has groomed 4 of my adults and bathed 3 tiny puppies ♥ I love this place.

We have been taking our babies here for seven years. After two of ours passed we rescued an American Bulldog named Ryder five years ago and were concerned with how he would be if we took him to be groomed. They took him in with open arms and he did great. When he was attacked by a shepherd a year later, and had to be put on meds, I called them and they took him in for a special grooming the next day just to put him at ease and clean him up. Who else would do that? They’ve been exceptional. He loves his MCG aunties (we do too) and goes quarterly. If you’re looking for a groomer that loves dogs as if they were their own, this is the place to go.

Very unhappy. My first and last experience here. Very crowded conditions, a row of numerous metal crates stacked on top of each other with no padding for the animals comfort. My "appointment" was to last no longer than 3 hours as was discussed at the booking...it took FIVE hours! The excuse: "We were busy" In my 30 years of having my many dogs groomed, I have NEVER had an appointment exceed the 2-3 hour time frame! My dogs were extremely thirsty as well. It is evident to me they overbook...rack and pack.

I am really sad that I have to post this. I have been using Market Common Grooming for over a year. In the beginning I was a very happy customer. But, over the last few months I will leave multiple voicemails to get an appointment and no one calls back ( except for one time.) This has started to get very frustrating because I have a full time job and family and can’t devote myself to calling a business over and over again to give them my business. So unfortunately, I now have to find another groomer which is not easy in the Myrtle Beach area. Once again this post does not go to any particular employee. I once was a very happy customer and now I am not and will be leaving.

I’ve been a groomer for the past 39 years and had the pleasure of having Audra as a groomer in my salon many years ago. She is a gem! Talented, caring, compassionate and an all around wonderful person. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer! Groomers like Audra are hard to find!!
