We have used SVAH since 2017 and have not been disappointed. Even through COVID, the staff has been very patient and professional, also very loving, with our animals. Their communication has not slacked off during COVID either. Their curbside appointments are awesome and I never leave with questions unanswered. When we first brought in our very shy rescue pup, Jack, for his initial appointment, the staff was so patient with him. They helped calm him and waited until he was comfortable before going any further with their work. They care about the animals as they are not just another dollar sign.

I called in the morning to advise that my Roxie was sick and on day three of refusing to eat. The staff was concerned and ensured she would be seen that day and gave me an appointment. When arriving we had our check in with the vet tech and waited for Dr Barker. I seriously can not say enough good things about him. He sat on the floor with Roxie to ensure that she was relaxed for her exam. We talked through all of her issues and a game plan was out into place. We decided with the upcoming holiday labs should be done so no surprises were had. The next day Dr Barker called me himself to go over and labs but more importantly asked how she was doing. He discussed the options if her recovery was slow. Yet also talked so compassionately with me on the fact that she is 13.5 years old and might be slower to recover and she might not, which then we would have to discuss other options. Needless to say Roxie is feeling better. Dr Barker and the staff at Sun Valley Animal Hospital is the best in my book. The best in the business.

Makes it really convenient to make a vet visit possible with kids through their curbside service. Vet Dr. Called me and discussed a few things and asked me if I had any concerns without it feeling rushed either. They have figured out a system that works for Covid times and I can appreciate that.

Had a great experience in the initial consultation then the follow up for my sick kitty. The care and empathy of everyone from front desk tech to the excellent Vet has made me a client for life. The vet saved my kitty’s eye after a horrible URI from breeders.

All staff is so attentive and seem to truly care about my dogs as well as myself!

I have had 5 pets treated at the animal hospital over the past 12 years. They are amazing. They live the animals, provide FANTASTIC care, and truly love their profession. I have had some impossible decisions to make and they are honest and understanding and help the family as well as the pet.

What used to be perfect is now very confusing

The staff, including our vet, were very caring! They entire group went out of their way to make our first visit and the follow-up visit comfortable for our older dog and for us. Recommend them highly!!!

Every single person in this facility is friendly and knowledgeable and caring. We switched from another vet that due to their unwillingness to take an outdoor cat in when we called on short notice and basically said to us “let it die.” That cat is now 6 pounds and been in our family for nine weeks because Sun Valley Animal Hospital made time to see the kitten and help him get better.

Overall the visit was great. No complaints. Staff was friendly and Vet was great.

I have trusted SVAH with many of our beloved pets and have always felt heard by the veterinarians and staff! They have always educated me on the issues and let me make the final decision on what I wanted to do. They have never been pushy, rude, or judgmental. Always supportive and loving!

Unsatisfactory/ unsatisfied my dog still itching bad I know something is going on with my dogs I will go for a second opinion my dogs never itch like that! I paid so much for not good results, and the exams was different price for what they told me on the phone, they also charge me to cut my dogs nails and charge me for each 17.+ change and their nails was not trim properly! I never had bad service like this I paid so much for nothing done right????????????

These ladies were so helpful! The vet tech, Macy, was super sweet and helpful too. Im so grateful! What a compassionate and helpful group of ladies!! Thank you all so much!!????
