Alfredo was great to work with, and he really helped us with our lab, Teddy. Being a rescue dog, Teddy is often skittish with others and Aldredo totally won him over! We are now able to greet visitors in our house without our dog getting too anxious or active and we are able to walk past other dogs in the neighborhood with better control. I highly recommend the Boot Camp, as you will get training for your dog consistently in your home in your dog's environment. Alfredo can see how your dog responds and will give you the tools you need to live better with your furry friend and to help change any bad dog behaviors.

We used for boot camp and training DSL years ago for our rescue Lucy Loo. This was a great experience for her as well as us as her family. When she completed her boot camp there was a very educational hand off and demo of what she had learned and how we could maintain the consistency. I would say one of our biggest take seats was being consistent for the desired behavior. Alfredo is awesome and we are so thankful for the patience and time he had with our girl Lucy Loo.

We cannot say enough about Alfredo and what he has done for our two dogs! I went from not being able to walk my 80 pound chocolate lab because I couldn't control his exuberance to walking BOTH dogs at once hands free. Alfredo was diligent about trying different methods to find what worked best for each one of them. My husband and I joked that we knew when it was about time for Alfredo to get to our house becasue both dogs would be waiting at the door a good 30 minutes prior to his arrival. The bottom line is the investment was well worth it! Us and our dogs are much happier.

Alfredo took the time with my puppy. My puppy was skid-dish with strangers and Alfredo took his time to let my puppy get to know him. He gave me great advice and took his time explaining how dogs think and how I should react to the behavior. I would recommend DSL to all my friends and family.

I highly recommend DSL for dog training. We adopted a 1 1/2 year old lab mix from a shelter that we named Hooper. Being that we have 2 kids and 4 cats and Hooper never had any kind of training, we decided a professional trainer was a must. We are so happy we found DSL. Alfredo is an amazing trainer. He is very professional, friendly, caring and kind. He listened to what we needed/wanted and we did the 5 week boot camp based on those needs. He treated Hooper as if he was his own dog. We are extremely happy with how Hoopers training went. Hooper knows and listens to his commands. Walking him is a dream now as he no longer takes us for the walk and he walks very nicely by our side. We cannot recommend DSL enough!

DSL treats your dog as if it was their own child! They are caring and kind. They have the highest standards for their facility and their employees. Think the "Publix" of dog training and boarding - "Where boarding your dog is a pleasure."

DSL is a great group of dog loving people. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff does a good job. We had some professional training for our dog, and we were impressed with the results. Every interaction we have had with DSL has been a positive, pleasant experience. Highest recommendation!

Alfredo is a great trainer and all the staff are so friendly! We opted for 1 on 1 sessions for our pup and I swear our pup gets better and smarter with each session. Thanks Alfredo and team for providing a wonderful experience for us and our dog! If you're looking for dog training - DSL is the place to do it!

Dog as a Second Language is the best facility out there for dogs’ safety and fun! I have never been to another facility that cares more for their dogs. DSL is truly unique!

Odin attended the boot camp and came home happy, relaxed, and obedient. We had been told by another trainer that he should be either euthanized or have his canines removed. Thank you Alfredo for believing in Odin and helping uncover the wonderful loving dog he is. We recommend Alfredo unreservedly!

The staff loves the dogs like their own!!

We really like sending our pup here for day care. She was there a few days ago and it was her 1st birthday. DSL took special care of her by making a fun birthday sign (which my son still has posted to the fridge) and she even had a birthday bandana. These folks really love the pups that go through their doors. And I like that she comes home absolutely pooped from running and playing all day.

What a disappointment! One dog bit my dog's ear ; a bruise was identified of which no one knows how it happened; I had to take my dog to the vet for an examination to see if she needed stitches and an antibiotic. Staff member informed me they had to let a few people go after the Thanksgiving holiday, but assured me that they had the coverage to handle the dogs (that is, after she found out I was dropping her off: guess one of the people they let go didn't put me in the books). Follow your gut feeling; if it doesn't feel right, seek other options!! I made that mistake and my dog suffered the consequences ???? NEVER AGAIN!!!!?

We appreciate DSL so much! Our boys are NOT social but somehow they are very social and welcomed at DSL. We tried other places that told us they weren't the place for our boys. Thank you DSL for seeing and bringing out the good in Sawyer and Chief!

Couldn’t ask for a more kind, energetic, professional and organized staff! They are so great with my dogs! We use both the daycare and boarding services regularly. Have been bringing my dogs here for many years and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a safe place for your dogs to expend all their energy.

We board our dogs here all the time, and the just completed the 5 week bootcamp (Sarah did an amazing job! ). All of the associates at DSL are so nice, and they really treat our dogs as their own. We were referred by friends, and weren't disappointed. We will definitely continue to use DSL to board.

The staff at DSL has been great to our family! We have a German Shepherd who successfully completed boot camp as well as a Havanese who is extremely nervous and anxious. Both of my dogs love it there. They have made so many friends, and we see such positive changes in our dogs since they’ve been spending time at DSL.

Dropped off dog for a few hours while attending a wedding down here. Dog seemed happy and they seemed like good dog people. ????
