The service we recieved from our walk-in visit at the Monroe location without an appointment was well worth letting people know about. We had to take our family fur baby Charlie in for a sick visit this morning. Dr. Anna Parviainen is a WONDERFUL doctor that diagnosed our Charlie with Pancreatis over a year ago. I was so relieved that Dr. Parviainen was the doctor on duty today since she knew Charlie from his past issues! Same as his very first visit with Dr. P. she took excellent care of Charlie again! She took extra time to go over different options within my price range and only did the minimum needed since we all know how costly some of these tests, blood work and shots can be. She cares a lot about her Patients and I'm truely greatful for everything she did for Charlie to help him feel much better soon! I want to take a moment and share how great Nurse Jeannie W. was as well.. she was also very kind, very caring and super helpful! Jeannie even went out of her way to gather Charlie's prescription dog food needed in the store that we couldn't find. They both took great care of Charlie and got us in and out in no time. I wish all animals could have these two great ladies as their care takers on vet visits. They both treated Charlie like he was their very own which means so much to our family! THANK YOU Dr Parviainen & Nurse Jeannie for making a very stressful visit easy as possible!!

The customer service here is awesome it's right inside of PetSmart. Little pricey from my liking but it's convenient if something needs to be done quick if you can't get it in with your original vet.????

I was scared for my baby Diamond which is a boxer she was bleeding she less than a year old I didn't know and I went there and I was crying and she just had her going over to be a adult female I'm happy about that and I'm glad they helped me anybody that has a pet should take them there cuz then people were very good to me oh yeah Diamond just had her rabies shot now I got to go get the other shot thank you for letting me share have a beautiful day

They are great at answering questions, but the younger guy doesn't seem well informed as I found out that he had given me the incorrect information ???? Some visits have been on the expensive side and a couple of the employees will sell you things that you really don't need as if they're receiving a commission! lol (NOT PetSmart employees, they all are great!) The ACTUAL Pet Vet employees...

The price's are high but if you need a pet something they will have it usually. The staff is always friendly. The store is clean.

We took our cat RED to the Monroe NC office March 21st. Our cat had been refusing to drink and eat and was acting sick, she had vomited and I felt that she was probably becoming dehydrated. She was our favorite cat of all time, so we felt it was urgent to get her to the vet on a Sunday morning, otherwise we would have waited until a Monday. After about 4 attempts the girl finally talked us into taking the wellness plan as she felt the doctor would want to run all those test. I feared my cat was severely ill and questioned if she would live to use the plan. The Vet came out and reviewed her blood test results and noted only the blood sugar was a little high, probably from stress of being at vet, and said her blood looked good and she seemed to be in good health. She also stated that the cat was able to stand and was purring so she wondered why we were concerned. We told her she was acting sick and not acting like herself, she was very weak. I didn't feel that she thought the cat was very sick. She said she could give her an antibiotic shot and some fluids since I thought she was dehydrated. We took the cat home feeling that she would get better. The cat continued to act sick even though I was giving her fluid with a dropper. My cat died the following night and we are so very upset. I feel like if I had taken her to a different pet hospital she might still be alive. To make matters worse we were stuck with this un-needed plan and this high bill. We felt overly pressured to get the wellness plan and that pressuring us to buy the plan was more important than making sure our cat was well . We are so upset that we thought we were doing the right thing by taking her to the vet, and feel that her sickness was not handled correctly and now we are left with this big bill and have lost our most beloved cat. She use to run greet us at the driveway like a dog, and then cut to go into the woods like she was playing a game. It is now almost unbearable to come down the driveway and not see her waiting. I just wanted you to know we thought the vet should have noticed that the cat was dying. I feel like they downplayed her being sick so they could sell us the plan. We went back to Banfield to cancel out plan and they said we had to call the number to cancel the plan, they didn't even seem to care our cat had died. We still had to pay a large bill. I feel that since I had a coupon for the first visit free we should not have had to pay that amount. When we cancelled they refused to reimburse us for the coupon amount. I have to tell you, our first visit to Banfield was extremely disappointing. I feel like they were more concerned with convincing us our cat was fine so we would buy the plan than they were with helping our beloved Red. I think we should AT LEAST be reimbursed for the amount of the coupon considering our cat's illness was not taken seriously. We would not have taken our cat to a pet hospital on a Sunday morning and paid $461.00 if we felt she was not that sick. I will NEVER take a sick animal to this place again. They might be okay for a well animal, but not a sick one! A pet owner should never have to feel the pain and regret for taking her there we have felt over this. We are so sad and disappointed over this place. We thought we were doing the right thing, and it was a terrible mistake to take her there.

My grandma took my puppy in to get groomed today. Awful service & poor quality. We asked for a good clean up cut, not to look funny, and not buzzed. What do you know? She’s gets buzzed and looks awful. What is my grandma told when she asks what happened? “Your dog isn’t good at standing still when she’s getting cut.” She is only 9 months old and has been groomed 2 times prior to this with no issues what so ever. One of the two I watched myself. Now my pup looks funny and is practically shaved down to the skin. Thanks for wasting my money.

Would not sell me flea meds because of a charge from 6 yrs ago. They sold me a well plan then my cat died that night and now they want me to pay for the wellness plan.
