Everyone is so friendly! Makes me feel not as guilty when I drop my dog off for a stay.

Staff is outstanding. Never worry about our dogs when they are "on vacation". Highly recommend.

I wouldn’t board my dogs here if my life depended on it, the way the employees will immediately degrade you for differing from their opinion is astonishing, extremely unprofessional, beyond rude customer service. I wouldn’t recommend trusting these narcissistic people with your below family members.

Although I was there on 3rd party work business. I could see from the interaction of one of the with two animals in her care. That these people treat the dogs in their custody with care & that they love animals. As someone who has had dogs before and a bunny rabbit . i think that's the most important things. Is Love for the animals and nice safe environment.

I dropped my buddy off there last weekend, the facility is amazing, the women who run it are very kind and professional, you can see they truly like what they do and love the dogs, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to board their dog for a vacation, they offer other services like basic obedience training up to advanced agility training, everything is climate controlled and the dogs get plenty of outside play time and human interaction, not just in a room the entire time

We absolutely love A Better Dog Kennel. We drive all the way from Huntersville to the Kennel because they take such great care of our dog (Julius). All the staff members are so friendly and caring. We love how they go the extra mile- post pictures, make cute holiday crafts, keep us updated if our pup isn’t feeling well. Julius is always greeted with a huge smile when he walks in the door which puts his nervous habits at ease. They are the best!

Will not pick up the phone when you call. Almost as if they laid it off the hook We paid for 3 pictures on our fourth day of vacation as well as activities. We have called several times, but was able to get ahold of someone twice to tell them that we haven’t received a picture yet waited all day after talking to them and still haven’t received anything. Acted as if they had the wrong number, but still have not received a picture after waiting all day, will never leave my dog with them again. Very disappointed in this place.

Love A Better Dog Kennel. My Sheltie has been going here for about 3.5years now. He loves it and gets excited whenever we pull into the parking lot. Everyone there is welcoming and takes such good care of him.

Had a hiccup with our dogs being given the wrong food their entire stay, staff was aloof when we told them this at check out and gave us poor customer service. The owner reached out after she found out and went WAY above & beyond for us. I am honestly blown away by how great her customer service was. We will 100% come back after the owner showed such care and compassion.

A very sweet & simple place for my pet. I highly recommend it.

I repeatedly use A Better Dog Kennel for boarding my baby, Ruckus, and I am NEVER disappointed. I've even started to notice that Ruckus gets excited when we arrive there. We all feel bad when we have to board our dogs, but when a dog actually gets excited to be somewhere, you know they are well taken care of in your absence. I highly recommend this facility for boarding and day care. It's always clean and the staff is super friendly. Sometimes they posts pics of your pooch on Facebook, which I love seeing while I'm away. And they even give you a doggy report card when you pick up so that you know how your dog ate, slept, interacted with the staff and other dogs. It's amazing! I love this place and will always use them for all of my boarding needs.

I was so impressed with how my dog was treated. I will never go anywhere else. My in laws live in Charlotte and I trust this place so much.

They did a great job while we were on our beach trip. We love the staff and enjoy seeing the dogs on the Facebook page while we are away. Keep up the good work!

I take my 3 dogs here for daycare and boarding quite regularly since I work out of town and I absolutely love this place. My dogs are always happy and well taken care of when they are here they are saints when it comes to taking care of dogs. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a quality boarding facility

My dogs Love it when we drive up to the kennel. It so nice knowing they are in good hands when we have to travel.

We’ve boarded our dog here since 2011 and she goes to doggie daycare - she loves it! We have had great staff over the years.

We recently enrolled our 8 month old GSP in their 15 day training course. It was worth every penny! Not only did they nail down basic obedience for our puppy, but also taught him some of the more advanced and crucial commands which make him so much more controllable and responsive in public and at home. Leslie sent us multiple updates throughout the training process, including videos of his improvement as well as pictures of him enjoying his stay at their top notch facility. Most importantly, the trainers spent well over two hours with us after the training was complete to ensure we understood what each command means, how to use the command, and how we can continue his training at home. Well over a month after completing his training, Leslie still checks in on us and our puppy to ensure we are happy with where he is - having had multiple dogs in the past and other trainers, I know this is not the norm. Leslie and her team go well beyond the standard training and truly take pride in their work! Would recommend this training to anyone with a new puppy or anyone looking to improve their dogs obedience.

We've been taking our dog here for the past few years, and have always had an excellent experience! Our pup always comes home exhausted :) And I've appreciated how the staff always seems to remember our dog's name, even if we've not stayed in a few months. We recently got one of those fun doggy fitbits (just cause I thought it was cool), and our pup gets over 5 miles of activity per day when he stays! I would highly recommend A Better Dog Kennel, and will continue to be a long term customer.

Absolutely amazing place and great people. They really take amazing care of my dog and went out of their way to make sure he was taken care of. Very cheap too!!!!
