This was my first ever boarding experience, and I’ll definitely bring Atlas to Cat’s Cradle again! The facility is SO CLEAN, and their standard kennels are huge. The staff was happy to accommodate Atlas’ sort of demanding feeding schedule (four separate mealtimes with a wet&dry combo). I know she was well cared for during her stay

As a veterinarian, I have thoroughly inspected Cats Cradle with both announced and unannounced visits. Their cleaning, care and housing standards for their kitties are the best. Many of my clients use this facility and we highly recommend them. The owner and manager have saved the lives of several cats, that were brought to them sick. They go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to the cats that are staying there. You could not find a better place to care for your cats while you are away.

Mindy, Max, and Dexter love visiting their friends at Cat’s Cradle! The owner and staff are amazing and take such good care of their “guests”. The individual rooms are awesome - plenty of room to rest, climb, and explore. We love Cat’s Cradle and will never leave the babies anywhere else!

Best kennel for my cat, ever! Having the luxury of being able to breathe the fresh air and knowing she is pampered, is a blessing for both of us.

Our "rescue" cat is not fond of other people and animals but circumstances made it necessary to find a place to board him for several days. I found Cat's Cradle on the internet and booked his stay. Upon our return, our cat was in his room purring and seemed eager to show us his window while he rolled about on his back chirping happily in his "window bed". When we brought him home he was the most affectionate that we've ever seen him. We figure maybe he considered Cats Cradle as a "resort" where he relaxed and enjoyed his time immensely. We can't wait to give him another opportunity to visit. :-)

We love Cat’s Cradle, and our Norwood (the cat) does, too! ???? It’s a wonderful place to board your cat, because the “suites” are spacious, sunny and offer different levels (and a tree!) for climbing, playing, relaxing and/or soaking up the sun. More importantly, Holly (and staff) is amazing, not only with her loving care for all the kitties - and more specifically for Norwood when he boards there - but she’s also very generous with advice and suggestions whenever I’ve had general questions or concerns when Norwood’s not staying there. Cat’s Cradle is the next best thing to home ... we highly recommend it!

Absolutely the best cat boarding facility we have ever used in NC or FL. Friendly staff and great people to deal with. Very clean facility and nice sized rooms for single or multiple cats. Always accommodating and flexible. They show great attention and care towards our cat and we trust them to love her as we would while we are out of town. Cat’s Cradle is the only place for us.

My first time having my two cats (7 yr. old) stay at Cats Cradle was great. The owner and manager were extremely nice and are people who care about pets. The facility was very clean and passing by the other cats they seemed relaxed and content. Because of my cats ages, they were a little nervous but now back home have adjusted very well. I felt they were in good hands while we were away.

A little out of the way from our house, but worth the drive. Very nice staff and the rates are reasonable. Best part is, the boarding area for our cat is spacious, with a good view to the outside and plenty of room to move and climb around.

Just picked up our two boys from Cats' Cradle after a 5 day stay. Their relaxed, happy demeanor was proof that it was worth rescheduling our own personal vacation just so the boys could be accommodated at Cats' Cradle and looked after by Holly! On behalf of our boys, Liam & Ivan, Cats' Cradle IS the cat's meow!

We left our kitty in the care of Cat's Cradle for a month when we were out of the country during June/July 2018. When we came back, Dani had grown a lot! The staff took great care of our pet, and we could see that she was physically and emotionally nurtured at Cat's Cradle. Dani had a window to watch the wildlife, which they told us she really enjoyed. We paid for a photo each week, and Holly did an excellent job of capturing Dani in beautiful poses. As Dani was an active kitten, it was not easy to get a good picture of her! We loved the updates Holly shared in her emails. We would definitely trust Cat's Cradle to take care of our cat whenever we take another extended trip.

We love this place for our cat. The only reason we can't give five stars is the new owner's Sunday drop off and pick up policy which was changed from the previous owners user friendly policy.

This is in response to a recent posting by the owner of Cat’s Cradle that mischaracterized the reasons for my daughter’s unfavorable review of this business. Laura in her zest to discredit my daughter’s review, attempted to malign her character and went so far as to accuse my family of “being aggressive.” Firstly, business owners should not send nasty emails to their customers with words in capital letters. All caps denote someone yelling to get their point across instead of being cordial. Additionally, business owners should take responsibility for losing their client’s records. To also falsely suggest that my daughter was attempting to take advantage of a 10% senior citizen discount policy is totally absurd and belies the real facts of this situation. Equally distasteful is encouraging readers to visit my daughter’s Facebook page to see that she is not a senior citizen. The fact of the matter is that I am a senior citizen who received a senior discount the first time we boarded our 4 family cats several months earlier. And although I was denied this discount when my family and I boarded our family cats the second time, we were merely suggesting to the owner the need to better manage a customer’s expectations by being explicit in their policies. At the same time, we were more than capable of paying the $366.00 bill which we respectfully did. It is also quite disappointing that the owner would resort to labeling our actions as “being aggressive” towards an employee, when in fact we never raised our voices or used impolite language, nor did we lose our civility, despite the way we were treated. Therefore, our compelling issue rests on our belief that business owners should be respectful in the way they treat customers and not try in any way to mischaracterize or mislabel a customer’s actions when patrons disagree with the way they are treated. Again, this review is not about a discount, but about how we were treated as customers.

Extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. We felt very good about leaving our cat here.

Cat's Cradle was a huge blessing to us as we quickly had to evacuate Wilmington for Hurricane Florence. We looked at, visited, and even boarded at other places in Charlotte until finding this perfect place for our cats. Our cats don't do well with dogs and don't do well with loud noises - within minutes of getting our cats here, they began to return to their more normal selves. The suites are amazing, providing multi-tiered areas, a window to look out, a climbing tree and even access to a small outdoor fenced-in area. The suite easily fit our three cats, allowing them to be together and providing them a level of comfort we couldn't find anywhere else. The staff is easy to work with and strives to accommodate. They truly love cats, as this environment couldn't be created by somebody other than a cat lover. This is a true gem in Charlotte, and, if we ever have to evacuate another hurricane, will make our decision easy. My only complaint is that there isn't one in Wilmington. Thank you Cat's Cradle for making this difficult time a bit easier.

Always know my cats are well taken care of when i am out of town. You can even text them periodically to check in with your kitties! Highly recommend

This is the only place I trust for my cat! Staff is incredible and the facility is better than anything you could imagine! Every cat gets their own room with a window and shelves and a tree!
