We've been coming here for 30 years with multiple pets. Everyone is awesome. The doctor are the greatest. They sit on the floor with your animal and talk to them just like they were human. If you need a Veterinarian I highly recommend Plantation Animal Clinic!!

I have using Plantation since my dog was a puppy. All the vets and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and sweet to my pup. The facilities are clean and attractive but It doesn’t feel cold and sterile like some vets.

Very good and very professional visit to the clinic. Vet. Dr. Wendy and staff did excellent work with my very skittish dog and in a timely manner.

I have had several issues with this animal clinic for about three or four years at this point. We begin taking my dog, Coco, here when she was a puppy. We had no issues originally, however there were multiple times were heard staff speaking on not only about our dog, but our family in a condescending and counterproductive manner. Following an annual check up in late May to June, Coco had a clean bill of health. Recently, we were experiencing issues with Coco not keeping her food down, blood in stool and excessive diarrhea, just to name a few. We had an appointment for Coco at 5:30 on Monday. I am a college student at Appalachian State, so I drove home to Matthews for the appointment. They gave her anti vomiting and diarrhea medicine, after claiming to do blood work, etc. Coming back to Boone on Monday night, she continues to throw up nothing because she had not eaten in about three days. Not even a whole 24 hours later, on Tuesday morning, I took my dog to an emergency animal clinic, where they diagnosed her with lymphoma and a tumor that was wrapped around her small intestines. Not even 12 hours go by, and we had to say goodbye and put down my family pet. After calling Plantation, no one showed any empathy, care or compassion towards the situation. Prior to my phone call, my mom called, no apologizes, no remorse, the secretaries were passive aggressive and told us basically it was our fault. They claimed my dog to be aggressive, however when I went to the emergency animal clinic, it was the first thing I told them and they told me she was acting out of fear and pain. Nothing she did seemed aggressive whatsoever. They also were able to run all of the tests plantation claimed to not be capable of because of her 'aggressive nature', and then some . I am beyond upset and appalled to have put down my 7 year old dog because a team was negligent, incompetent and dismissive towards our issues. I do not like the way anyone conducted themselves or took responsibility. Mistakes happen, things can be overlooked, but to not care whatsoever made the whole company seem disingenuous and money hungry, I am beyond disappointed and devastated. If this had been a human being, this company would be sued for malpractice.

I rarely leave reviews, however if I can prevent someone from going through what my family has today I will be happy. This has to be the most negligent team of vets in all of NC. Despite several check ups with plantation, I decided to get a second opinion on my 7 y/o dog who was experiencing bloody stool, vomiting and diarrhea. She received several clean bills of health from Plantation, so you can imagine my horror when I discovered that she had been suffering from lymphoma and several large tumors. They were negligent and I suspect they never even ran the test that they claimed because how could they overlook a large tumor that wrapped around my dogs small intestines preventing her from keeping any food down. We had to put my coco down today and it was the most horrifying experience of my life. Do yourself a favor and take your dogs to vets that are capable … this establishment just wants your money! Run!

I have been brining my Bella to Dr. Murphy for 11 years, since we moved here and she was 4 1/2. Dr. Murphy has gotten us through Bella’s diabetes, her arthritis, and her dementia. He has always been caring and profession and I know I could always rely on him to help our girl. This past week Bella stopped eating and drinking, I knew in my heart that this was her sign that she was tired of fighting and it was time to let her go. The staff at the clinic were so kind and caring during this hardest of visits. Thankyou, for taking such good care of our baby right until the end.❤️

Love everyone here. From front desk to nurses to vets- everyone’s always been honest, patient and caring. I’m very picky about who I’ll trust to watch over my pets and this is my go to for both vet care and boarding.

We’ve been going to Plantation for many years. We’ve asked for Dr. Reed and he’s thorough, caring and follows up with us. Recently during illness we’ve seen Dr. Sacco and Dr Pennings and love them both. Same thorough care and compassion we’ve gotten from Dr Reed. I would recommend these 3 doctors highly. Office staff is top notch.

Our cat needed to be seen ASAP by a vet. We easily got an appointment and had only a short wait to see Dr. Stanley. She was professional and so caring with Rosey. We have used this clinic for years for our dog and cats. We highly recommend it.

Dr. Samantha Stanley had been taking care of my little dog for 7 years. Last time, we came in for an annual check up , and he needed some shots. Dr. Stanley gave him pain medicine injection before giving him those shots. She did a thoroughly check on him and found things that I didn't see it. I kept coming back to the Plantation Animal Clinic because the doctor was great, the staffs were friendly and the place was always clean. Highly recommended this place

We have used this practice since before Dr. Jay took it over. For this specific visit we had a family death and needed boarding for several days. They quickly accommodated us. As always we appreciate their kindness & assistance.
