The owner of this place is very rude. Will never go back there again , doesn’t know how to talk to customers!

This was our first time at Bark 5th Avenue. Brandon did an awesome cut on my Havapoo. He was most professional and I really appreciate his customer service. My baby was a little nervous when we got there and it could be related to him just getting carsick. When I picked him up he was calm and happy, just chillin while waiting for his Mommy. Love this place and really appreciate Brandon's skills. We'll be back for sure.

I love Bark 5th Ave LLC! The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I was a first time dog owner and was referred by someone on Nextdoor group. They taught me a lot on how to keep her coat nice in between her visits. Thanks again for taking the time to explain and teach me ☺️

We were lucky to find Bark 5th Avenue 8 years ago! Even when we moved to Raleigh we would plan trips back to Charlotte around our dog’s grooming appointments! Kim and Brandon are very patient without anxious pup!

I have two Pom-Chi's. One is super timid. I have taken to several groomers and both dogs came home traumatized. One establishment sent them home with fleas. A wonderful neighbor recommended Bark 5th Ave. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they were cheaper than anywhere I had previously tried. Now both dogs come home coiffed, happy and hydrated. (They even give them water if you are running late on pick up time) They truly love their clients and pets. Super group of people and always professional.

We love Bark 5th Avenue. I took my pup Penny for a new customer appointment, they spent time with me to ask preferences and chat. This the only groomer Penny has gone to where she happily walked away from me! I was shocked, and so relieved.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Kim, Brandon and team are outstanding. My 1st pet was a regular there for 16 years. Took our new puppy in today and he looks amazing! I highly recommend Bark 5th Avenue!!! True professionals that really care about you and your pet!

I had been a customer for a number of years and from time to time I wasn't satisfied with the way my dog was groomed. Each time I get him home, I would look at him closely and call to let them know my dissatisfaction. The owner Kim and the groomer, Brandon would brush it off. At one time the owner agreed to no charge on his next grooming. Whenever, they had a new employee I was sure they allowed that person to groom my pet. I asked if the owner would allow only one groomer to groom him. Each time he would look totally different. They charge $45 and I pay them alone with a tip. I feel if I pay them for their services I should be satisfied with it. The last grooming was not satisfactory and I inquired and the groomer Brandon became upset. I told him that I felt he didn't groom my pet, and if he did he was falling off with his skills. He got into his feelings and started to become really sensitive. I apologized if I offended him. The call ended and I assumed all was well. When I called to set a new appointment I was told that they no longer would be able to groom my pet. That is their choice and I am fine with that. There are others around certainly more honest and less inept. I stayed because they were close to my home and my pet seemed ok. I am very disappointed that the owner Kim wasn't professional enough to speak with me about her employees'feelings and let me know her decision. Instead Brandon informed me and during the conversation we were disconnected. I called back and asked to speak with the owner, and another groomer started yelling and getting out of her lane. She became irate and I ended up hanging up before I made a trip up there. I said all of this to say, if Bark 5th. Ave. can't take criticism from paying customers then they should close their doors. It is never good business to think you can't make a mistake and be called on it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this groomer to anyone. Yes, I complain to any business that gives me unsatisfactory service.

After bringing my pets here a few times over the past couple of years I can say that this is a business more concerned with money than they are your pets. While the haircuts here are of good quality, the last experience I had with them ended with me picking up my sweet people loving husky screaming in terror who couldn't get out of the crate and into the car fast enough. I don't know what they did but my dog has never acted like that in his life and it was certainly enough for me to know I will not be returning. Couple that with unpleasant and disingenuous owner who will certainly forget you and your pet and we have this review. The saving grace of this place is Brandon, it is clear he genuinely cares for all of your pets and animals only reason this isn't a one star review. Thank you Brandon.
